Alvin walked back to the second floor of the office, until there turned out two other people had come, they were placed in the secretary's room, with the old secretary as their leader.

"Good morning" Alvin said to the other two, taking the remaining seats.

"Morning," they replied as they stared fixedly at Alvin.

Just as Alvin was about to sit in his office chair, someone had already come inside. It was the person who yesterday welcomed all of them, while going to do the interview.

"Good morning everyone," said the young man in a loud voice.

"Good morning, sir" replied Alvin and two of his colleagues.

"Include me, my name is Keenan. I'm Mr. Ezra's personal assistant, because there's something I have to get out of here, and this position will be one of you replacing after going through this last selection," he introduced himself.

"For information, of the three people who participated in this selection, only one person will pass and be accepted as a personal assistant of Mr. Ezra. So, it looks like you have to work harder, because this selection is judged directly by Mr. Ezra, as your superior," Keenan continued.

Alvin frowned, he felt he was in a race, just to get a job. Although it is true in life there is always a race to be won, to further improve the quality of self.

"Ohya, another one .. we do not tolerate fraud of any kind, inside or outside the office. If you get caught cheating, then you will be immediately disqualified from this opportunity! So, I hope you can compete healthily, even work together to help each other" Keenan spoke again to warn.

"Well, sir," the three men answered, in unison.

"Good, now I'm going to divide your duties, during this selection," Keenan said, showing three pieces of paper in his hand, then sharing them with Alvin and his friends.

"Read that and understand, in half an hour, I'll send you the files you need to work on" Keenan said, before he sat down in his own chair.

Alvin received the sheet of paper then sat down and began to read it carefully. Thirty minutes later Keenan began sending various tasks to Alvin and the others.

Maybe because this was the first day, or indeed because Alvin had served as his best secretary, so he had no trouble doing his first job.

Until finally the working hours are finished, two of Alvin's coworkers are ready to leave, while Alvin is confused, because they have not been given a schedule to go home, while usually a secretary or assistant will only go home after their boss comes home first.

"Aren't you getting ready like everyone else?" keenan asked, when he saw Alvin still seemed busy with the computer in front of him.

It's not that his work isn't done Alvin is, he's just preparing for tomorrow.

"Sorry, Sir. I haven't been told when my work time is over" Alvin replied with his innocent face.

Keenan looked blankly beside the thin end of his lips, then noticed the reaction of the other two Alvin co-workers. Of course, they all seemed to dislike Alvin's statement at the time, considering that they were only doing the selection, so they argued to work like other employees.

"Because you are still on probation, then you can go home like other employees," Keenan told the three people in front of him.

"Good, Sir. Thank you, for today," said the three men.

Alvin and two other people went out of the office together, when they came out of the office, Alvin walked flanked by two colleagues who had a fairly much older age than him.

The first, seems to be forty years old, while the second may be thirty.

"What the hell did you use to say it was the same, Mr Keenan? Want some attention?" ask the two men.

Alvin divided his eyes on the two colleagues, before answering the question.

"Not so, I did not get my work schedule, so I did not get ready like you," replied Alvin presumably, although it is true.

"Am I wrong?" alvin asked, with a fine frown on his forehead.

"Yes! Clearly wrong. You should follow us prepare and we'll go home like regular employees. Remember, we're here just doing the selection, so don't fight to be a real personal assistant" said the forty-year-old.

Although their tone did not sound arrogant or arrogant, even angry at Alvin. But still, Alvin felt bad.

Alvin scratched the back of his head while grimacing, it turns out that the two coworkers were quite calculated with his work, maybe because they were also married and certainly had a big responsibility for his family, he said, in contrast to Alvin, who not even a girlfriend.

Haish! Why is it your turn to girlfriend, I want to be the same Jani? Ck, it looks like my brain needs refreshment, Alvin decak in the heart.

"Well, now you're back on what?" ask one of them to Alvin, alerting Alvin who was muttering to himself in the heart.

"Public transport" replied Alvin.

"Ck! Usually a youngster like you would ask his family for the latest vehicle for style? Or maybe your vehicle is in the garage again?" asked the thirty-year-old, curious.

Alvin shakes. "No, Sir. I don't have a vehicle" Alvin replied with a smile.

"Well, it's great that your parents educate you, until they don't buy a vehicle for their child, ck ck ck," said the other, shaking as if in disbelief.

Alvin looked small. "Yes, Sir. They taught me to be independent from childhood. So I'm used to it" replied Alvin.

Abandoned by Mr and Alin, also had to take care of Mamah in the hospital. Isn't that the name of teaching self from small? inner Alvin, remembering his fate.

"Dine. You are a different young man. Your parents must be very proud to have a child like you" said one of the men beside Alvin, holding his thumb.

Alvin just smiled without answering the words of his co-workers.

Hopefully, Father, Mamah, and Grandpa, can really be proud of me, inner Alvin, remembering the people he loves.

Ah, it turns out that the two Alvin colleagues are mature and supportive of each other, although at first they were upset because of Alvin's actions. However, eventually they even support Alvin, even one of which is one way with Avin, offering a ride.

However, because Alvin would visit his mother first, he chose to reject an offer from one of his colleagues.

"We compete healthily, if indeed our sustenance to work here, will certainly be selected. But, if not, yeah ... how else, right?" That was the speech of the man who was about forty years old, who was immediately embraced by Alvin and the others.

The remarks were also what made Alvin can breathe a sigh of relief, because it was certain that here he would not have difficulty adapting.

.

.

Moments later Alvin arrived in front of a hospital where Ganis had been treated for several years.

Alvin headed straight to the doctor's office before seeing his mother. He had made an appointment earlier, to ask about the condition of the mother.

Alvin rarely took the time to visit his mother lately, given the many events that made him unable to meet his mother.

How could Alvin possibly show his scarred body to his mother? Until he decided to postpone his schedule.

Apparently there are still many who remember about Ezra and Keenan ya😊
