"Yuk, now it's our turn to work" said Alvin after the worker who had previously gone outside and now replaced with him.
This time he had to go upstairs to paint the iron skeleton at the top. Alvin was preparing to use a seat belt, after he was ready, now he had to hang with one hand focused on spraying paint on every iron that was there.
The aroma of typical chemicals began to emit sharp, fused with the cold wind that afternoon, to be able to penetrate the many layers of masks on Alvin's face. He could still smell that unpleasant smell, even if it only felt faint.
That's how Alvin worked all this time, heavy work with a high risk of health and safety. All that he did with great enthusiasm, forgetting the time to play and gather with the garden of friends his age.
Alvin gave up his youth in hopes of picking up an even better future. Not even concerned with people who find it strange, because often fall asleep anywhere.
The black circles under his eyes were as if they never wanted to disappear from his face. All that Alvin got since work, until now still looks concentrated.
The lack of sleep made him unable to avoid it all. Alvin who is indifferent and does not think about prestige, does not take a headache, when his face is no longer fresh like the first time in college.
Now he looks more tangled and pale, the effects of sleep deprivation and not having time to take care of himself.
At twelve pm Alvin just finished work, he was given two breaks at the time of magrib and nine o'clock at night, it was only thirty minutes. Sometimes the break time is not felt, because Alvin uses it to pray magrib, while isya, he chose to do it after arriving at the rented.
"Huh, it's finally done for tonight as well" Dodi said as he opened up their combat equipment.
Alvin smiled without responding, he took off the helmet and chose to sit down first.
This time almost all of his work was at the top, so he should always rely on a safety rope, to hang like a sepiderman.
It is exhausting, must control the body that is adrift in the wind, while stabilizing the hands so that the sprayed paint does not deviate from the target.
Alvin tilted his head left and right, trying to stretch a muscle that felt very stiff. Fortunately tomorrow was Sunday, he could spend his time resting and sleeping all day.
Hah, just imagining it has made Alvin feel like he wants to go home quickly. No one was waiting for him at home. Mostly Lukman who spent the night playing cards with a group of other fathers.
Nor does he have a woman to miss or a royal place. Alvin didn't seem to think much of it either.
For Alvin, the current new mattress that a few days ago he bought more tempting, compared to a warm embrace of a girl, or spoiled caress of women.
"I'm going home first, sir. Assalamualaikum," said Alvin, while taking a backpack that he could use to campus.
"Yes, Vin. Be careful on the road" they all answered.
"Vin, tomorrow I want to sell iron to the bullies, he said yesterday to come?" Dodi yells and makes Alvin step stop.
"Can, Sir. Tomorrow I will leave at what time," replied Alvin full semnagat.
ALvin is always happy if he wants to visit a new place, he likes to get experience. You can see various businesses, making it seem to see the other side of the city of Jakarta.
As many people know, the city of Jakarta is famous for its short buildings and luxury, the village people seem to make Jakarta a benchmark for making people successful.
And behind the frenetic city of Jakarta that is so famous for all its prosperity, there are many small people who work hard, just to survive.
Now Alvin knows the meaning of the speech, because he can feel for himself, how difficult it is for him to survive in the city of Jakarta.
At half-hour two in the morning, Alvin had just finished his bath, he was laying himself on the bed.
Alvin closed his eyes, inhaling a deep breath and then threw it away slowly. It feels very comfortable to be able to relax the body like this, after a day struggling with lessons and work.
It didn't take long, Alvin was asleep picking up a dream that would come true sometime.

Holidays are not a quiet day for Alvin too, washing clothes and cleaning the house became his agenda today. Plus by doing the task of the lecturer.
However, being able to sleep again after the dawn prayer alone was truly a true pleasure for her. The clock shows at nine, when Alvin squirms his body that feels fresher.
"Wake, Vin. Breakfast first, later connected again to his sleep," said Lukman, while walking towards the terrace. In his hand was a glass filled with coffee that was still smoking.
"Eungh .. yes, Mang," replied Alvin, feeling still reluctant to open his eyes.
Alvin squinted his eyes avoiding the incoming sunlight as Lukman opened the door. Look at the round clock that sticks to the wall.
"It was noon," he murmured as he sat down.
Since Alvin worked the night, Lukma has looked more attentive to him, every week Lukman allows Alvin to rest.
Until any hour Alvin wants to sleep no one will bother him. Lukman only woke up ALvin to eat and carry out his duties as a Muslim.
However, Alvin was aware that if he lived hitchhiking, he never forgot his obligation to help Lukman clean the house, and keep it clean.
He also did not want to continue to laze on Sundays, waiting for work and college holidays.
Rubbing eyes, trying to eliminate the feeling of heaviness to open. Alvin then rhymed, he then folded the sarong and cleaned his bed.
Folding mattress that he bought a few days ago, he brought it back to be stacked with a mattress owned by Lukman, so that if there are guests, the front room does not look shabby.
After everything was done, Alvin walked to the back, washed his face and sat back in the kitchen. He first drank a glass of water, before starting his activities.
Though on the table is already available a pack of rice uduk, which is definitely the ration from Lukaman for him. However, it does not feel good if you wake up to eat directly, his stomach also does not feel hungry.
Returning to the bathroom, he saw a bucket containing his clothes that were deliberately soaked from dawn, so that the dirt quickly fell out.
Alvin squatted down at the end of the bathroom measuring one and a half square meters, then began to rub his clothes on top of papa rubbing, occasionally he used a wash brush in certain places.
Half an hour into his clothes, he looked fresh with wet hair.
