Can't get used to it

The sirens of ambulance cars sounded so loud in the ears. Alvin sat in the car carrying the body with the body of the mother who was ready in the coffin.

Fists appeared to be stuck on the lips, with reddened eyes and blank stares. Alvin still could not accept this painful reality.

Mr. Umar and Anjani are beside him, trying to give strength to the man who is now very bad. Several cars and motorbikes were seen accompanying behind the hearse.

Some time down the streets are quite crowded, cars with a typical white dominance finally stopped at the cemetery. Once the door was opened, Mr. Umar went outside first, followed by Alvin and Jani behind him.

With a step that looks a little limped, Mr. Mardo seemed to approach. The face was very tangled with eyes and nose that was still red and the scars of crying were clearly visible on his face.

"Please let me take my brother for the last time" Mardo told Alvin. His voice sounded raucous with his head slightly lowered, embarrassed to meet face to face with Alvin.

Alvin clenched his hands when he saw Mr. Mardo's face standing in front of him, wanting him to beat him up until the man who was his uncle was dying, just like his mother.

Jani who was behind Alvin, took a step forward and stroked Alvin's hand, so that the man was not carried away by emotions.

Alvin turned his head to look at Jani's face with eyes filled with emotion, slowly he began to awaken from his anger. Taking a deep breath, then exhaling slowly, Alvin's face that had been reddish now began to look back as usual.

Jani breathed a sigh of relief from all that, slowly he let go of Alvin's hand and then went back, to make room for Alvin.

Alvin was grateful that there was Jani who always accompanied him in his most difficult situation. He then looked back at Mr. Mardo who was looking at him expectantly. Waiting for Alvin's answer.

"That's your job, as a sister. I have no right to forbid you," replied Alvin in a cold voice, he even looked lazy to look at Mr. Mardo's face. Alvin then prepared to remove the coffin where his mother's body was, then lift it along with Mr. Mardo beside him.

Everyone who witnessed it breathed a sigh of relief, after a while ago also tense up for fear that Alvin could not manage his emotions on Mr. Mardo. However, it turns out that the presence of Jani can dampen Alvin's emotions.

The sky covered with gray clouds seemed to be a witness, for every step Alvin in delivering the departure of the mother who was so dear to him. The man looked strong and dashing with a coffin on his shoulder, stepping down the alley at the cemetery, to carry his mother's body to his final resting place.

As vigorously as possible, Alvin suppressed the pain in the chest, though at each step, flashes of time with the mother continued to revolve in memory, like a movie.

Ganis' smile when welcoming the arrival of her husband who just returned to work, looks so soothing and sincere. Laughter Ganis when playing with Alin, felt so real that it feels now Alvin can hear it.

The tenderness of Ganis when giving advice to him and Alin who sometimes quarrel, and his patience in dealing with him while acting and naughty — all now only become a memory that he will not be able to repeat.

There is no longer any hope that has been the encouragement of his life. His heaven now chose to go after Mr and Alin who had left him first. Bringing the pain back repeatedly felt for the umpteenth time. He was not used to parting at all, although he had experienced several times.

No human being can get used to the loss of such a loved one. And so does Alvin. He also remained unprepared to accept Ganis' departure.

Alvin leapt towards the burrow along with Mr. Mardo, to receive Ganis' body and lay it in his final resting place. Bringing Ganis to a different world.

Rigid – may be what is now seen for the mourners who delivered the departure of Ganis, although in fact Alvin repeatedly had to hold his legs that felt unsteady to continue to stand firm for the sake of his mother.

Goodbye, Mah. Now Mama must be happy because she was able to reunite with Mr and Alin. Alvin is sincere and happy for it. Here Alvin will continue to pray, that Mama, Father, and Alin, be placed in the best and happy place there, inner Alvin when placing the lifeless body on the ground that feels lebab.

Alvin may be able to say if he is sincere, even though somehow until when the speech he can do, because if I'm honest, until now he still can not accept the departure of Ganis.

Over and over Alvin had to catch his breath so as not to shed tears as he chanted the final adhan to Ganis, with a trembling voice.

Not a few mourners who shed tears when they saw how hard Alvin in the face of the departure of Ganis, especially the workers at the hospital where his mother was treated for years. They looked sobbing, feeling the loss that Alvin felt.

The song of prayer strung beautifully, close the series of funeral Ganis that day, until the sound of mourners answering with the word Amin was heard accompanying the heart of Alvin who tried to make his paradise departure.

One by one the mourners began to leave the cemetery, with words of patience and steadfastness continuing to flow that even felt like a wind past for Alvin. Now there only live Alvin, Jani, Pak umar, and Anji.

Alvin still seemed to be squabbling next to his mother's headstone. He seemed reluctant to leave the place. Mr. Umar and Anji decided to wait in the parking lot as the rain seemed to be getting heavier.

Jani stood behind Alvin, he faithfully mourned the man who was now lamenting the departure of his paradise. After half an hour had passed, Jani finally knelt down beside Alvin, slowly his outstretched hand grasping Alvin's arm that looked dirty from the ground of the tomb.

Right next to the tomb of Ganis, there are the tombs of Mr and Alin who had died a few years ago.

"That's enough, you need to rest, Vin. Your mother will be sad if you see you continue to fall like this," said Jani in a soft voice.

Alvin turned his head with tears that came back dripping unstoppable. He did not care at all about his pride as a man, Alvin just wanted to spill his sadness.

"I have to what now, Jani? I lost my life purpose — my paradise has left me, he chose to be with you and Alin, instead of staying here with me," alvin said like a child who was confused and lost due to the loss of his mother.

Jani took off the umbrella that he had been using to block the rain from his body, he placed his hands on Alvin's cheeks for the man to look into his eyes.

Jani let his second body wet by the rain, he did not want if until Alvin continued to fall due to the loss of his mother. He won't be able to see it.

"This is destiny, Vin. Every human being has his own time, and now your mother's time in the world is up. No man can resist if God has called him back, and neither can your father, sister, and mother. They cannot reject the destiny which the Most Loving has outlined."

Slowly Jani stroked the sturdy back which now seemed to bend slightly and tremble violently. Jani let Alvin's tears blend with the rain that felt increasingly heavy hit both.

"I know you're sad — you're disappointed in fate. But, you must remember, if God's plan is the best plan. God is testing your faith, so that you can rise to a higher level, and He also believes that you can get through all this."

Jani said in a loud voice, the woman was resuscitating Alvin and trying to bring the man's soul from the darkness of the valley of sorrow.

"But, I'm now alone, Jani — me alone!" The trembling mouth could still say softly.

Jani shakes.

"You're not alone, Alvin. There I am here, there is Mr. Umar, Mang Lukman, Mr. Ezra, and many more people who care about you, Vin!"

Jani ventured to grab Alvin's body, hugging the slumped man to calm him down. Whether because he was not aware of the situation, Alvin did not refuse at all, men who had been keeping one physical contact with women now seem resigned to be in the arms of Jani.

For the first time, she shed her tears in front of another woman, other than her mother. For the first time, Alvin was in the arms of women other than his mother and grandmother.

"I'm here, I'll always be by your side no matter what," Lirih Jani said as she continued to pat Alvin's back.

Jani tried to stay strong, although his heart also felt pain when he saw the man who was always strong and strong, now looked weak and helpless.

For a moment Jani allowed Alvin to spill his sadness in his arms, without feeling his body was now drenched by rainwater. Anji, who was about to catch up with her brother out of worry, could now only silently watch from a distance, seeing how unfortunately the younger brother was.

Wanting to be angry at Alvin for making Jani exposed to rain water, but he himself may never be able to if he suffered the same fate as Alvin.

Anji could only clench her hands, holding back the worry for her sister. For the time being he allowed Alvin to take over Jani.

If my sister's happiness is with you, then I will support you.
