"Who's this?" Alvin lifted the necklace to his face.

Esih who was putting clothes in the cardboard, turned her eyes to Alvin. He was surprised to see a necklace that looked quite classic.

"Where did you get that from, Vin?" esih asked, staring at the necklace in her grandson's hand.

"From here, Grandma." Alvin pointed to a small acrylic box, where the necklace was stored beforehand.

Esih seemed to approach Alvin, he took the necklace while looking so closely. But Esih gave it back to her grandson.

"Maybe it belongs to your mother, it seems like grandma had seen Ganis wearing it while still dating Hardi," Esih said, recalling her past.

Alvin looked back at the necklace in his hand, he had never seen Ganis wear it at all, he never even knew that there was such a thing in this house.

Alvin put the necklace back in its place. Then, give it to Esih.

"It's better, Grandma, just keep it," said Alvin.

"No-no, this belongs to your mother. You keep it, yes" refused Esih.

"But I can't keep it yet, Grandma. How about this, just Grandma keep it for a while?" Alvin again extended the acrylic box to the front of Esih.

"Thank you, Esih. Then when Alvin's ready, you give him." Darman's voice from the direction of the door distracted the two of them.

Esih looked at her husband, she finally received the necklace from Alvin's hand, after being given confidence by Darman.

"All right, Grandma's necklace accept. But, if you grow up later, you have to hold it yourself" said Esih.

"Yes, Grandma" nodded Alvin.

Days passed, now Alvin and his grandparents, had left for Hardi's hometown. They rented a car, to carry things that could not be put in the house anymore.

"Come, Vin. The car is ready" Esih said, in front of Alvin's room door.

"Yes, Grandma" replied Alvin.

Alvin looked back at the room he had been living in for a year. Now, there is no song of his belongings anymore, all brought to the village.

While the used items of both his parents and Alin, such as study tables, work tables and other home supplies, are left here, he said, considering the house of Darman and Esih in the village did not have enough area.

Esih approached his grandson, he rubbed Alvin's shoulder, giving strength to the teenager who was being given such a heavy test.

Alvin held his grandmother's wrinkled hands, turned around and began to move his feet out of the house.

Arriving outside, Alvin sees Darman who is already standing next to the car, waiting for the arrival of Alvin and Esih.

"Are you ready?" ask Darman, as Alvin approaches.

Alvin nodded, he looked back at the simple house.

Someday, I will definitely return here, under much different conditions, inner Alvin promised.

The car leaves the modest house full of memories of Alvin and his family, with Alvin determined to fight for his mother's recovery and change his life.

After about three hours of travel, Alvin has entered the hometown of Darman and Esih. The town, which is famous for its rice hull, feels so foreign to Alvin.

Although he often visited here, when his parents were still there. However, now there is a different taste than usual.

Remembering when there were still two parents, himself and Alin, will be so enthusiastic when it has entered the rice field area.

Brother, look at the rice field is so wide!

Alvin remembered the word Alin always said, while showing him the rice field.

There are birds too! What bird is that, sir?!

Back Alin's voice seemed to cross his mind, usually the little girl always pointed at whatever she saw while asking.

Without feeling the journey they have reached the area of the home of his grandparents. Yes, because their house can not get in the car, then they also have to walk for a while to get there.

"Vin, we're here." Esih slightly shook her grandson's body.

Alvin, who was still immersed in his daydream, seemed aghast to get a touch from Esih's hand.

"Ah yes, Grandma," nodded Alvin, he went straight out of the car.

"Come," Esih asked, while carrying things from the car.

Alvin nodded, taking along some of the other items, then walked in the footsteps of the grandmother.

Arriving at a simple house that still looks very well maintained. Alvin fell silent again, he recalled a few years ago, his father had renovated the house, before the bankruptcy befell his family.

"Come in, Vin," said Darman who had just come out of the house.

"Yes, Cake" nodded Alvin, then stepped inside.

"Assalamualaikum," he said, as he began to go inside.

"This is now your room, Vin," said Esih who had just come out of his late father's room.

Alvin just nodded then started to go into the room of his parents. Yes, in this house there are only two rooms, so every time they play here, both he and his parents will choose to sleep together in the living room.

"This has all been cleaned by your aunt, so you can immediately occupy it," said Esih, co-spreading his gaze in every corner of his child's bedroom.

"You're here first. Grandma wants to drink for grandfather and driver first," said Esih.

Alvin walked over to a dresser not far from his place.

His eyes were fixed on a photo that was displayed there. Yes, it was a picture of his parents, on their wedding anniversary, a few years ago.

He smiled faintly, though his eyes seemed to be glazed. His outstretched hand took the frame, he stared at it for a long time, with mixed feelings.

The tightness in the chest was so felt, when he saw the happy faces of the two people who were there.

May you calm there, I here will try to make mamah happy, inner Alvin.

Alvin returned to the outside after feeling satisfied, staring at the faces of his parents in a picture full of memory.

From today Alvin will live his new life, in a different place, also with different situations.

The teenager hopes to adapt to the life he lives today, along with his grandparents.

Even though the current condition is very much different from before. However, as a teenager, Alvin will try to get up and live the day as much as possible.

Alvin knew the path ahead of him wouldn't be smooth. However, all that he will try to face with confidence, for the sake of happiness with his mother, someday.

Wait for me, Mah. I'll treat, Mamah, and we'll be happy together, someday, inner Alvin.
