...Happy Reading's...
......................
Alvin stood far away, he saw his mother sitting on one of the hospital park benches where he was being treated.
A sad look covered in longing was clearly visible from the look of Alvin's eyes at this time.
"Alvin, you still don't want to see your mother?" asked a mature woman who seemed to be standing next to him.
Alvin turned a glance at the mature woman, then nodded faintly with a smile.
"Good day, Doc." Instead of answering Alvin instead greeted the woman who had been taking care of her mother all this time.
The doctor chuckled as he lowered his head, he then followed Alvin's gaze.
"It's possible that all this time, your mother was waiting for you, Vin," he said.
Alvin breathed a long breath, it felt very heavy to withstand the longing that he could not express, even though the person was in sight.
"I was too afraid to see him, Doc," replied Alvin.
The doctor let out a long sigh, he stared at the young man beside him.
Since the incident two years ago, Alvin never again wanted to meet Rengganis directly. Every time Alvin came, then he would only see the Rengganis from afar like now.
Back flash.
Alvin was thrilled when he got the chance to see his mother in the hospital, after more than a year of not seeing her.
He went to Jakarta with Darman, only to visit Rengganis and make a pilgrimage to the graves of his sister and father.
At that time the health condition of Rengganis was better than before, until the doctor allowed him to meet him directly.
Of course all that makes Alvin more happy, given the progress of his mother's health condition, giving new hope also for the man.
Alvin slowly walked closer to Rengganis who was sitting alone in his nursery.
"Assalamualikum, Mah," said Alvin, after he was close enough to Rengganis.
Rengganis slowly began to turn his head, seeing Alvin's whereabouts he even immediately ran and hit Alvin tightly.
Alvin smiled, he immediately returned his mother's embrace, with a sense of pleasure that erupted in his heart.
So did Darman and the doctor who saw the mother and child in front of them both.
However, the soft words from the lips shook Rengganis, instantly breaking the heart of Alvin and everyone who was there.
"Mas, you're coming!"
Yes, a few short words that describe that the Rengganis still can not remember Alvin.
"Well, this is Alvin" said Alvin, with his eyes beginning to turn red, enduring the pain in his heart.
"Mas, is Alin coming? I miss Alin very much, they are all no one to let me meet Alin," Rengganis cerocos without wanting to assume Alvin's words.
"Well, this is Alvin, not the father" Alvin said.
"Mas, take me home, I don't want to be here anymore, I want to see Alin." Rengganis unraveled her embrace, she stared pleasantly at Alvin.
Alvin's heart ached the more he heard all his mother's words. However, as much as possible Alvin tried to smile, even though it added to his injuries.
"Mom, you want to go home?" alvin asked, gently stroking his mother's shoulders.
Alvin could feel that the weight of Rengganis had decreased drastically, it was all very visible from his very thin cheeks, and his bones that felt protruding.
"Yes, I want to go home, Mom!" The rengganis nodded quickly.
"If, Mamah, would go home ... Mamah, you have to take care of your health here, and listen to the doctor, let it heal quickly and we can gather again," said Alvin with a voice that began to heavy.
"I don't want to live here anymore, Mom! I want to come with you!" The tone of Rengganis voice began to be high, indicating his emotions began to be unstable, even his hands clutching Alvin's shoulders.
"Well, calm down first .. if, Mom, it's healed we'll be together again. I promise." Alvin broke the emotions of the Rengganis.
However, it turned out that it was all useless, the emotions of Renggais even higher, until he started shouting and luring other patients to react because they were disturbed.
Of course, all that makes the doctor and the nurses must step in to calm Rengganis and give him a sedative.
"It's better, you, go outside first" the doctor told Alvin.
"I don't want to be here, Mom! I want to come with you! Get me out of here, Mas!"
The rengganis kept shouting while rebelling to escape the nurses.
Alvin looked at his mother, slowly stepping back with a heart that was again getting sicker.
From outside the nursery, Alvin can see how his mother was handled and given sedatives by force, to make it better.
Seeing all that, of course, making a wound in Alvin's heart that still feels painful now as if bleeding back.
His hope to be together again with Rengganis seemed to be thinning again, when he saw the condition of his mother who had no progress.
Starting that day, Alvin decided to no longer meet Rengganis directly. Every time he visited would only be passed by staring at his mother until his longing was slightly healed.
Flash back off.
"You don't want to try again?" ask the doctor.
"I'm afraid that later I will only add to the pain my mother, Doc, is going through" replied Alvin.
Alvin straightened his body when he saw his mother holding a pink teddy bear similar to Alin's.
"That doll, who gave it, Doc?" alvin asked, looking at the doctor with a surprised face.
"A few months ago, there was someone who visited her relatives with the doll, your mother happened to see it .. She went berserk wanting the doll, so we begged to give it to her. Fortunately the man was willing to hand it over to your mother, and from then on he was never willing to take the doll off" the Doctor replied at length
Alvin was still staring at Rengganis, a frown on his forehead visible when he saw the doll in his mother's hands.
He then nodded his head. "Is that so, Doc?"
The doctor nodded faintly.
"The doll is very similar to my sister's beloved doll, maybe my mother remembers it so she wants it" said Alvin, with a smile adorning her lips.
"Oh, as it turned out. It's fitting that your mother looks so fond of that doll."
Can I be jealous of Alin, Mah? Mamah, even remembering what Alin likes, even though he no longer exists in this world.
But I am the one who is still alive .. never even remembered again, even if it is just a name.
Seeing Alvin who no longer answered him, the doctor chose to leave Alvin alone.
Sometimes I wish I didn't survive the accident, so that, Mamah, I can remember like, Mamah, remembering you and Alin.
Without feeling tears just dripping, when his mind seemed to be complaining to his mother who had never heard it all.
Yes, let alone his mother, even Darman and Esih had never heard the grievances that were in Alvin's heart.
Alvin chose to soak up all his pain for him to feel for himself, he tried to always cover everything with the smile and hospitality he displayed in front of many people.
Alvin then smiled wryly, he wiped the tears that had already fallen, then tried to neutralize his face again.
But, it turns out that I was chosen by God to keep Mama here. So, as hard as I can, I will heal, Mom, as I used to.
Steady, Mah. I will keep trying to make more money, so I can take you, Mamah, to a better place.
I'm sure someday we'll be reunited. Mama, definitely can be healed and healthy again like before.
