In the morning Alvin actually dialed the number he saw last night, who else if not Anjani.
While driving the car to the office Alvin put earphones in his ear, for one first call it turns out Alvin did not get an answer.
"Is he still sleeping?" muttered Alvin.
"Yes, I'll call you later" continued Alvin again, putting the earphones back in place.
However, moments later his phone rang and displayed Anjani's name id on the screen.
Seeing that Alvin immediately put back his earphone and then picked up the phone from someone who might still feel so special in his heart.
"Assalamualaikum," said Alvin as soon as the phone was connected.
"Vaalaikumsalam. Did you call me, Vin? Sorry, I'm in the bathroom again" Anjani said from across the room.
"Yes. I'm going to invite you to meet later this afternoon, can you?" ask Alvin who is always straight to the point.
Anjani clucked softly at Alvin's completely unchanging, cold and distasteful attitude.
"Can you meet me where?" ask Anjani.
"As far as you go, send me the same address" replied Alvin who made Jani smile.
"Yes, I'll send you the address."
"I waited. Assalamualaikum." Alvin ended the phone just like that with a thin smile decorating his face.
Meanwhile in the room, Anjani is seen snorting in annoyance as Alvin ends his phone just like that.
"Ck, you insensitive! I'm still kangen, but play matiin aja," grumbled Jani on the screen of his phone.
"What's important is that you can meet later in the day" continued Jani again, with a smile.
Anjani put down her phone and continued polishing her face then immediately went outside. He now works at a family company led by his first brother.
.
When lunch time arrived, Alvin had just arrived at the restaurant that Jani chose, he just remembered that the restaurant was not far from Anjani's sister company.
"Why did he choose this restaurant?" muttered Alvin after parking his car in front of the restaurant.
While not far from the restaurant, Jani seemed to be walking down the sidewalk with an umbrella that blocked the sun from his skin.
Alvin out of the car along with Anjani who arrived in front of his car, the views of the two seemed to be intertwined for a while.
There is a sense of surprise at the moment now the appearance of the two is far different from since the last time they met.
Alvin who wears neat and fashionable clothes, plus the car he drives. Also Anjani who looks mature and independent with her work clothes.
Alvin smiled faintly, he then walked over to Jani who was still staring at him unblinkingly.
"Assynrass, Jani. How are you?" greet Alvin as soon as he got in front of Jani.
Anjani blinked her eyes slowly as if she was gathering a consciousness that had yet to recover.
Alvin moved his hand in front of Anjani's face, as she still did not respond.
"Assalamualaikum," he said again.
"Wa–Waalaikumsalam." Jani said shrewdly.
He then blinked his eyes quickly while lowering his head, as if he had just regained consciousness.
Alvin smiled again to find Jani's attitude that did not change at all, still a little loading if being with him.
"A – Alvin!" lirih Jani looked back at Alvin.
"Hem, then who else?" alvin's Nod.
"How are you, Jani?" continued Alvin again, staring at the face of Jani whose cheeks look red.
"Alright, Alhamdulillah. Come on, come in, it's hot here, right," said Alvin while glancing at the umbrella that still covers Jani's body.
Anjani just realized with an umbrella in his hand, then closed it again.
"Yes, it's really hot here, what else am I walking from the office" replied Jani confidently.
Alvin nodded his head faintly, then followed Jani inside the restaurant.
"So, now you work in Pak Arkan's office?" alvin asked as soon as they got the table.
"Yes, since I came home from abroad I worked there immediately" Jani nodded.
Alvin just nodded, as he circulated his gaze, reminiscing about his time working in the Arkan office filled with various stories.
"Where do you work now?" asked Jani who never left staring at Alvin's face.
"I only work in the workshop" replied Alvin, chuckling.
"Ck! No lie, where there is work in the workshop can wear clothes like this," decak Jani did not believe, he even squinted his eyes, looking at Alvin suspiciously.
"Eh, don't you believe me? I do work in a workshop, you can come if you don't believe," said Alvin while looking back at Jani in front of him.
"Hem, I'll definitely come! I want to see which workshop can make its workers wear kayak clothes like this" Jani said.
Alvin nodded with a faint smile on his lips. "Well, if you have time, let me know, I'll tell you the address."
The conversation continued until finally the food they were eating came, both silent for a moment to enjoy their lunch.
"Lunch with you. What if I come later to bring supplies like when I was in college?" jane asked, expressing her thoughts.
"Byeah" nodded Alvin after finishing his meal.
"Really?" Jani was quite surprised by Alvin's answer, he thought that Alvin would reject him.
Alvin nodded for sure.
"But, is anyone angry?" asked Jani again, as if he was luring Alvin to reveal his current status.
"Nobody, who's going to be angry?" alvin replied casually.
"What is your boyfriend?" Jani does not give up easily.
"I'm still alone."
Jani smiled brightly upon hearing Alvin's reply. Honestly, all this time his heart has never turned away from Alvin, he still expects the man who became his first love.
"Jani, actually I invited you to meet because I wanted to ask for help" Alvin said after a long time they spoke.
"Solicit what please? I'll help you if I can" replied Jani now choosing to focus on Alvin.
"I want to ask you to give me a ride for my sister who's in trouble. Can it?" alvin asked in a doubtful voice.
"Sister? Aren't you an only child?" Jani was a little suspicious.
"It's a long story, Jani. I'll tell you if you agree."
Anjani fell silent, she looked at Alvin suspiciously. Although in his heart he also admitted that Alvin could not do something to blame the rules.
"All right, I agree. But, you have to tell me everything and I also have to meet with your brother first" Jani said.
"Sure," Alvin nodded.
"Later in the afternoon after work I'll pick you up at the office, we go to my contract, so you can meet my brother, how?" ask Alvin.
"Okay, I agree" replied Jani.
After lunch, the two separated again, to go to their respective offices, until the afternoon Alvin actually picked up Jani at the office and made a stir almost all employees there, he said, who apparently still knows him.
Without both realizing it, the news reached the ears of Arkan and Anji who also worked there.
