One of the men who seemed to be sitting next to the old woman moved, then approached Alvin who was still staring at them with confused eyes.
"Is it true, you, whose name is Alvin Bramantya?" asked the man as he stood in front of Alvin.
"Yes right, I'm Alvin Bramantya. You, who and what need do you want to meet me?" Alvin answered and asked the man again. He already disliked if anyone claimed to be family, just to meet him.
"I am Roni, the chief bodyguard of Mrs Hartari and Mr Gemang Karyoso" the man replied, introducing himself.
"We were forced to meet you at the office, because we could not meet you at home. Sorry, if our arrival here interrupts the time, you," said the man who called his name Roni.
Alvin nodded faintly, as if he had heard of the surname Karyoso, but did not know much about them, because the family was indeed quite closed.
"It's okay. But, let's get straight to the point, because it's still my working hours." Alvin tried to speed up his meeting, he felt it was not very important to meet people he did not know at all, like them.
Alvin was getting lazy when he heard that they were from the rich. Unlike other people who might consider lucky if they meet people with a lot of money, Alvin who feels his life is always a mess when with people who have a lot of money, Alvin, even more lazy to meet people like them.
"The mother sitting there is Mrs Hartari Karyoso, she is the biological mother of a woman named Rengganis Karyoso. Do you know that name?" roni asked, introducing the old woman who was still holding on to her seat with one other man.
The deg!
Alvin was silent when his mother's name was mentioned. He did not think that the old woman was his grandmother. Grandma that he never knew in his life, let alone his body and affection, even to name only he never knew.
"Sorry, I don't know that name. Maybe you've misidentified people." Alvin shook his head faintly, his friendly initial tone now changed to sounding cold.
"No way, we've been investigating you for a long time." Roni looked strong.
Alvin smiled faintly as he exhaled a coarse breath, he then glanced at the old woman who still seemed to notice him.
"If there's nothing else you want to talk about, I'll go back to work. Excuse me." Alvin immediately refused, without giving a break for the man to reply to his words. He immediately lowered his glint then stepped out of the waiting room, Alvin briefly glanced back at the old woman on the chair from the end of his eyes, before leaving those who could only look at his back.
"Wait, kid!" A trembling voice rang out, making Alvin stop his steps.
The hand that dangled straight beside his body was now clenching trying to calm the turbulent taste within the chest. Alvin already knew for sure that the woman was the mother of Ganis which means the mother of Mr. Mardo as well. Meeting them would only add to the complicated problems he was facing with Mr. Mardo.
Although in his heart, Alvin would want to know also the family of his mother who he had never even met. However, if all that would only endanger his life and Ganis' life, Alvin would prefer never to meet or know them in his entire life.
Alvin can live even without meeting the family of his mother, his life will not affect anything if he never knew them. However, he would never be able to live without his mother, he would not even know how to live and struggle if only his mother were not by his side at the moment.
"Son, I just want to meet you for a moment" the old woman said as she walked over to Alvin.
Alvin was still speechless without even turning around to look at the old woman. His heart was too sore to remember what they had done to his mother. Only because of the property, the family was willing to throw away his daughter and just kept quiet when Mr. Mardo killed his grandson and son-in-law.
"You're too late, ma'am. The time, you, to meet me has been long gone" replied Alvin, then continued his steps.
Alvin again stopped his steps and looked at Roni's face with a hardened face, he had enough to hold back his emotions to not show his disappointment to the old woman. Really, it's all very tiring for Alvin.
"Take him off, Ron. Let him go, I'm fine." The old woman's voice distracted Roni and turned to look at her.
"But, Nyonya–" Roni was about to argue that her forehead seemed to be furrowed in a sign that she did not like Mrs Hartari's decision. However, the old woman shook her head faintly, as if to signal that Roni would not argue back.
"We are wrong because it comes at work, let's just go home," said the woman, although her voice sounded ordinary, Alvin could clearly see the disappointment of the look on her face.
Roni also released Alvin's hand checks, so Alvin could continue his steps while exhaling violently, he then stepped over to the woman, who still saw Alvin's back away from him.
"Madam, don't you really want to see him? We've even been looking for him for a long time" Roni said in a protest to her employer.
"We can't force it, Ron. Now he is an adult and has a well-established job. You also know he was even very proud of his lecturer while in college. He's right, we're too late. So, it's only natural that now he doesn't want to meet me" the old woman replied with a sad face.
"Here we go, we better go home now" the old woman continued.
Meanwhile, Alvin walked quickly to the second floor, and went straight into the male toilet there, washing his face repeatedly to calm the heat in the chest.
A rough and fast breath sounded to make Alvin's chest go up and down, the man looked to be staring at the reflection of his face in the mirror, he could see the sparkling red eyes. I don't know why at this time his feelings are very angry, even though he himself is confused who is angry at whom. Whether it was on those who came to see him or on his own who refused to meet the family of his mother.
"Why are they looking for me at a time like this? Heh!" Alvin smiled sarcastically with a rude snort sounded. He then walked outside with his front hair still wet. It refreshed a little his face that looked stifled.
He goes to Ezra first to tell her he's back. Then he decided to go straight into his room again.
Since then, Alvin has always busied himself, to dispel the memory of his encounter with Hartari's mother, and his guilt for not being polite at that time.
For Alvin tang used to living with courtesy to anyone, his attitude to Bu Hartari was quite a burden for him, what else he knew that Bu Hartari was his own grandmother.
Flash back off.
The sound of knocking on the door was heard, making Alvin turn his head to look at the door that was still tightly closed, then began to get up.
"Who?" tanyanya while tidying up her clothes and started walking towards the door.
"It's Gino, Vin," replied someone at the door.
"Bang Gino, why did he come here?" muttered Alvin upon hearing the answer from outside he then opened the door.
"Bang Gino? What's up?" alvin asked while going outside the house and invited Gino to sit on a chair.
Gino is Nindi's personal driver, Alvin often meets her during a visit to Ezra's house.
