...Happy Reading's...
....................
Night comes when the day goes, with the moon replacing the sun. Dark, no more light. Cold, witness to his every coming.
Alvin had been preparing to attend the party since seven p.m., the generous old man loaned Alvin a suit, instead insisting on dressing him up, until Alvin looked completely different in the end.
The suit worn with a different hairstyle than usual, making Alvin look more handsome than usual. Even the middle-aged woman who helped him make up, to exclaim happy, felt that she had succeeded in making Alvin look different.
"Done!" exclaimed the middle-aged woman who was the owner of the expensive item rental.
"Well, Brother Alvin, it's so different! Added handsome!" exclaimed teenage boy, who is a schoolmate of Ujang.
Teens who initially always had low scores like Ujang, eventually could go on to improve, after taking lessons with Alvin.
All of that certainly makes his parents very happy, so Alvin even mengnjamkan free clothes, coupled with the self by the teenage mother.
Alvin looked at the glass, he tilted his head to the right and to the left, weighing his new appearance which did look very different. His skin was slightly brighter since working in the office, making him look quite different.
"Well, thank you, ma'am. I look different like this" said Alvin, looking at the teenager next to him, then turning to the middle-aged woman behind him.
"It's my mother who thanks you, Vin. Because you have become even more handsome," the middle-aged woman replied, looking at the astonished young man in front of her.
Alvin smiled he could not answer when anyone praised. Really, he didn't feel that way at all. All this time he always felt like he was just an ordinary person who came from the village to change his fate in the big city.
He never had time to take care of himself, although he also did not leave small activities such as wearing body lotion, and perfume before the move. That's all, really.
Especially for this event, his beautiful boss lends Alvin an office car for transportation. The woman with great prestige, of course, did not want to see her assistant come by using only a motorbike, it would hurt her sky-high self-esteem.
Arriving at the venue, Alvin saw so many guests who had arrived. They get out of the car at fantastic prices. You can be sure the parking lot of the building has now turned into a luxury car actor event.
Alvin walked towards the reception, he reached out to the invitation he got from his boss, then filled out the attendance list.
No one was as special as he thought he was at the party. Alvin can even walk freely without having to pretend to be smitten, or greet people he does not know at all.
As it turned out, the show had already begun, a man who was guiding the event seemed to stand upright on the stage.
His voice seemed to be giving instructions to the guests to start the event tonight. Alvin ignores all that, instead being attracted by the design of the party room he had just seen during his life.
Fresh flowers arranged beautifully and various prized party trinkets fantastic, looks so dazzling that it always resuscitates him, he said, that he is nothing compared to the people who are here.
The invitations spread out on the seats already provided. There are also those who choose to enjoy a drink while talking, most of them stand by holding a glass containing colorful drinks.
Alvin was standing on one side of the party room, he looked confused to start the conversation, considering that he had never been in direct contact with these many businessmen.
While the beautiful boss and arrogance, seen still enjoying the party with his family at the front desk, until it seems not aware of the presence of Alvin at the party.
Until a while later, there was a middle-aged man who greeted Alvin first.
"Ah, right, sir. How are you?" Alvin returned the smile, he knew who the person in front of him was.
A big businessman who had been a boss when he went bankrupt, before having an accident.
"Geez you go anywhere, I look for you after the accident. Sorry, because at that time I was out of town," he said at length.
"But, I'm glad that now you look good and successful of course," the middle-aged man continued, patting Alvin's shoulder repeatedly.
Alvin's smile grew wider when he heard the middle-aged man's words. He never even dreamed he would meet the person who had helped his family life, after he fell bankrupt.
"A week after the accident, I was immediately taken to my hometown by Grandpa and Grandma" Alvin replied.
"Oh, it's worth it that I couldn't find you back then." The middle-aged man seemed to nod his head.
"Now you have succeeded, yes. Thank God," said the middle-aged man.
Alvin smiles. "No, Sir. I'm just an ordinary secretary" he replied.
The middle-aged man seemed to frown, usually the one who became the secretary was a woman. Alvin chose the job.
"Secretary? Where's where?" tanyakanya.
"In this family subsidiary. I happen to be the secretary of Mr. Mardo's son and Mr. Mardo's son" explained Alvin.
"Oh, is that it?"
"Yes, sir," nodded Alvin
The conversation halted when the host took the attention of the invitees and called the family of the hajat.
Alvin and the middle-aged man on his broom, turned his attention to the stage where the couple were celebrating their twenty-year anniversary, he is giving his welcome and gratitude for the presence of the invited guests.
The event continued with the cutting of cakes and tuumpeng, as gratitude for their marriage.
"Vin," greeted his beautiful boss with a sumringah face, when he saw Alvin could chat with big businessmen.
"Sir Garry, welcome to my parents' wedding anniversary," he turned to the middle-aged man next to Alvin. The woman extended her clasped hand.
Yes, the middle-aged man is Garry Darmendra, a businessman who is very famous in the business world, his success in running the family company, many make his competitors jealous.
"Good night, Miss Indira," said Garry with her flat face.
"I'm very happy, you, to be able to come to our family event" said Alvin boss who turns out to be named Indira.
"It just so happens that I have free time right now" Garry replied casually, as if she had told him that this event was not very important to her.
