"What's up, Bang?" alvin asked, after they sat together in front of the contract, Alvin's face was still a little pale, although the feeling of dizziness in the head had begun to subside.
"Here, I was told to bring this for you, from Ms. Nindi," Gino replied as she placed the paper bag on the table.
Alvin looked at the paper bag on the table, then looked at the private driver of his boss' wife.
"What is this, Bang?" ask Alvin.
"Open it up, I don't know what it is either. But, earlier Ms. Nindi said that she apologized, for not being able to see you," replied Gino, recalling her employer's message before leaving.
Alvin picked it up then looked at the contents inside, it turned out it was a food box. Alvin smiled faintly at the attention from his current boss' family. Of all the rich people who met him, it seemed like only the Darmendra family could make him comfortable, with their treatment. And, perhaps thinking of him as a human, was no longer a slave that could only be treated at will.
"Thank you, Bang. Sorry, I'm a hassle" said Alvin, again keeping the paper bag on the table, with a look towards Gino.
"Don't feel bad that, I'm used to being told this way with Ms. Nindi, she is very attentive to her workers. That's why we all feel at home working in that family. I hope you do too" Gino told Alvin a little bit about the family's hospitality and warmth.
After about fifteen minutes of talking, Gino said goodbye. Alvin is sitting alone in front of the house. Look around the seemingly deserted contract.
Such is the atmosphere of daylight in the rented, it feels lonely because most residents do work, and those who do not work will choose to rest inside the house. At least one, two people who accompany their children play in front of the house.
"Assalamualaik." The sound of greeting from the direction of the gate made Alvin distract him.
Alvin was shocked to see a woman he knew was walking towards him.
"Miss Indira?" he muttered while standing with his surprised face.
"Alvin, I was looking for you at the office saying you weren't in, so I tried to come here. It turns out that you are here," said Indira with a rough breath accompanying him, as if he was very tired to look for the whereabouts of Alvin.
"Miss Indira what's looking for me?" alvin asked when he heard the ramblings of his former female boss.
Indira seemed to see Alvin with an illegible look in his eyes, not knowing what the woman was thinking at this time. Alvin frowned when he saw that.
"Don't you tell me to sit down?" ask Indira suddenly.
"Huh?" Alvin was surprised by the reaction of the woman before him.
"Ah yes, please sit down, Miss. Sorry the place is like this," said Alvin while wiping the chair to sit Indira with his hands.
"It doesn't have to be that way, Vin," Indira put away Alvin's hand and sat down.
Alvin looked at Indira with an increasingly linked forehead, although not long after he returned to neutralize the look of his face, then sat in the other chair again.
Why am I having so many guests this afternoon? batin Alvin who never thought that Indira would come to his home.
"If I may know, what is it gonna take, Miss, to find me?" alvin asked in a very cautious tone.
"I know everything!" indira said suddenly, while looking at Alvin with a look that turned disappointed.
"So you're the son of Aunt Rengganis? Does that mean we are brothers? Aye, right?" indira asked with a bright face, she looked at Alvin with widened pupils as if very happy with the news.
Meanwhile, Alvin instead looks confused and a little wary, he reflexively straightens his body with a change in the look of his face that looks more hardened than usual, although not long later Alvin exhaled a rude breath and tried to be relaxed again.
"What do you mean, Miss?" alvin asked as if he did not understand what he was hearing.
Indira looked speechless, she looked at Alvin in full search.
"You don't know? Didn't you come out of the office because of this problem?" ask Indira.
"Sorry, Miss. But, it seems, you, misunderstood. I'm out of the office for another reason, and I'm not your brother either" Alvin denied outright.
Really he did not want to deal with the family anymore, although maybe now he can also guess, from where Indira can know all this.
After a few days ago Mrs Hartari came to see her and she rejected her blatantly, now the woman is using Indira who is none other than her former boss to pull her into their family conflict.
"I'm sorry, Miss, I'm not feeling well, it seems like you better just go, because I want to rest" Alvin said without further ado.
"But, Vin, you really are my brother, you are Aunt Rengganis's son. That necklace is proof." Indira seems to hold Alvin, he then refers to the necklace that hangs on Alvin's neck.
Alvin was silent, he held his mother's necklace, then looked back at the woman beside him, with a faint smile on his face.
"Numbers like this are a lot on the market, Miss. I just bought it because I like the color of the stone." Alvin smiled as he gave a reason.
"It seems, Miss, it's been a misunderstanding" Alvin continued with a smile on his face.
Indira was silent, she looked at Alvin's face with an illegible look, although Alvin could still see there was disappointment there.
"Better, you, just go. I'm not the one who, Miss, I guess," Alvin said as he stood up from his seat.
"I'm sorry, miss," said Alvin, nodding his head back.
Alvin averted his gaze, when he saw Indira's eyes begin to turn red, looking at him full of disappointment.
"I thought you could be my brother, Vin. It turns out you are the same, I can not make it as a sadara," said Indira before stepping away from Alvin just like that.
Alvin was silent, he only saw Indira walking unsteadily out of her rented area from the end of her eyes. After the woman looked out of sight again, Alvin dropped her body on the chair with a rude-sounding grunt.
Alvin bent his body while shuffling his hair, trying to eliminate the discomfort that was in his heart. The feeling of dizziness in his head that was originally better, now feels pulsating again, due to the presence of Indira.
"The vin? What was? I saw a woman come out of here crying, was that you?" Mr. Umar who had just arrived seemed to sit on the chair of the former Indira.
Avin put away the hands on her head while re-enforcing her body.
"Pak–"
