Jani neither refused nor disapproved, she just kept quiet without saying anything.
"It's late, your family will be worried" said Alvin again, he clearly saw that Jani was still reluctant to leave him.
"Tomorrow I will go abroad" said Jani.
"Yes, I know. So you have to go home now, you have to rest so that tomorrow is ready to fly," replied Alvin, making Jani see him in disbelief.
"So you already know? Then why don't you call me, Vin? Is it so worthless for me to be in your mat, that you won't see me first, before I leave?" asked Jani in a disappointed tone.
"It's not so, Jani." Alvin will explain, if he had wanted to contact since, even he had planned to meet him tomorrow morning, before Jani left.
However, Jani's men cut off Alvin's words.
"Not many reasons. You never saw me. All this time I was the only one who was always there, and you never realized it. Heh, how sad my life is to love a man full of obsession like you!" jani said at length.
"Jani–"
"You're bad, Vin. You have never seen the slightest attempt to stay by your side. You are selfish, because you only think about your obsession!" Jani hit Alvin's chest.
His words were not loud or shouting. However, smirked with all the expressions of sadness and disappointment that had been harbored.
Alvin clenched his hands, he did not accept if his ideals were referred to as obsessions. He just wants to live like any other family, with a healthy mother and a good job, so he can live happily and without lack.
"I'm being selfish, Jani. But am I wrong if I want to live a normal life? I'm tired of all this too. But, I did not want to give up and just kept quiet, when I saw the fact that my mother still needed the cost and my answer. All this time I've only lived for something you said was obsession." Alvin said softly, one tear drop escaped just like that when the man said it.
He immediately went to pick up Mang Lukman's bike with reddened eyes holding all the feeling inside his chest.
"Let's go up, I'll take you home" Alvin said again.
Alvin started riding a motorcycle, he had time to greet the fathers in the post when passing them.
Along the way, there is no word spoken between the two, they just quietly mutely enjoy the cold night air in the city of Jakarta.
A while later Alvin had arrived in front of Jani's house, he escaped just like that when passing through the gate as if being awaited by the whole family.
"Assalamualaikum, Om, Aunty," said Alvin while opening his helmet.
However, before he puts his helmet on the bike, Arkan and Anji suddenly attack him with full force.
Alvin has no chance to defend himself or retaliate against Jani's two brothers who are blindly attacked.
"Based on a bastard, I'd say, don't ever hurt my sister, you son of a bitch!" said Anji while continuing to throw a fist at him.
"I warned you to take care of my sister, not hurt her. Fucking shit! A coward!" arkan Hardik.
"Bang Arkan, already! Anji, Alvin is not wrong!" repeated screams from Jani were heard.
While the two Jani choose to bring Jani into the house, no matter the fate of Alvin in the hands of Arkan and Anji.
The blows all over his body were not playful, the two older brothers Jani was not an ordinary person, they had been trained in martial arts since childhood. Of course, his level of knowledge, far above Alvin, who only studied a few years ago, even if he had free time.
While inside the house, Jani continued to beg her Papa to divorce her two brothers, in order to release Alvin. Jani also tries to explain what happened to him and Alvin.
However, it seemed that his Papa was not in a persuaded state. Jani's cry broke out in her mother's arms, she kept begging until her two brothers went inside with sweat dripping down her face.
Jani immediately got up to run, to approach Alvin outside. However, Arkan and Anji immediately hold him.
"Bang, I want to see Alvin, please," said Jani, while trying to release the hands of his two brothers who blocked him.
"Here you go, don't be stubborn anymore, Jani. From the beginning we have forbidden you to connect with him .. Now you feel for yourself what the consequences are if you love men too much!" Arkan raised his voice.
As an older brother, he didn't like his sister crying because of other men, what else because of the man he thought was very inappropriate for Jani.
He has also caught Jani crying secretly, because of Alvin. However, all this time he continued to hold his anger, until tonight suddenly Jani disappeared and was delivered home by Alvin, in a state of chaotic face.
Arkan and Anji spiral out of control, they finally release their anger on Alvin, having been tired of holding him back for the sake of their sister's happiness.
Chaos in the house, the more it becomes when Jani suddenly unconscious. Everyone who had been filled with anger, now changed with worry.
Later that night, Jani was rushed to the hospital. In the morning, Jani was immediately taken away abroad by his entire family, without being allowed to see Alvin's condition first. The scheduled departure, which was supposed to be afternoon, was finally pushed forward to morning.
.
.
Alvin blinked his eyes, he felt pain all over his body.
"Vin, are you conscious?" The voice of a person enters into his sense of hearing.
Alvin looked for the source of the sound, though his vision was still a little blurry.
"Alvin's? Thank God, you finally realized too," said another voice, Alvin continued to open his eyes, trying to explain his vision.
"I'll call the doctor first." One more voice followed by the sound of quick footsteps, seemed to run.
All of those sounds were still like dreams for Alvin, he was still in between conscious and not. Suddenly a flash of the night where he drove Jani home to culminate in a stabbing of Arkan and Anji flashed.
Now his whole mind was centered on one name, until subconsciously his lips slowly shook and spoke softly.
"Jani."
Slowly his vision began to clear, he could see the faint demise of the people around him.
"Vin, you know me, right? I, Imran," said Imran who was right in front of Alvin's face.
"Vin, it's Mang Lukman, you remember right?" It was Mang Lukman's turn to speak.
Alvin smiled, he certainly remembered all the people who had contributed in his life.
"Ah, I guess you don't remember me anymore, Vin!" sigh Imran, with face sumringah.
Before long the doctor came and examined Alvin carefully, he also asked a few things to Alvin and suggested to do a follow-up examination after being aware.
