Fried Rice

Alvin sat in the park, in front of him a laptop and some books to help him with the task that the lecturer had just given him.

It had been thirty minutes he had focused on the laptop in front of him, to the point of disregarding the circumstances surrounding him.

Sometimes he seemed to drink mineral water, to rely on the stomach that feels rumbling. This morning he had bad luck waking up because his night had to be overtime.

Lukman is returning home because his son is being treated in hospital. Fortunately, there was Mr. Umar who banged on the rented door because Alvin did not participate in congregational prayer in the mosque.

Otherwise, maybe Alvin will also miss entering class. Now his stomach has been charged to want to be filled, because he did not have time for breakfast this morning.

However, the unfinished task made him heed his hunger. Alvin closed his laptop with a rough gasp of breath, finally the task was completed as well.

Choose to lay his body on the expanse of garden grass, then close his eyes after cleaning his books and laptop.

The park where he did the task was quite quiet, he chose a fairly far from the campus building, so not too many people.

"Fine, eat first."

The sound of someone making Alvin instantly open his eyes, he saw a woman sitting next to him.

"So morning I tried to make fried rice, try it, good?" jani said again.

Jani accidentally cooks himself at home to give to Alvin, but at first he cannot cook. All because Alvin who never want to accept the gift of others for free.

Alvin closed his eyes with the back of his hand.

"You want to make me a guinea pig?" cold Alvin, ignore Jani.

"May you too, later if I want to make an experiment I will meet you," replied Jani, although in his heart he held back upset.

"But unfortunately, this fried rice has often been made at home for my family," continued Jani again.

Alvin smiled thinly, he did not answer Jani's words, because if it's often why Jani had to say 'Try to make fried rice' in his first sentence.

"Ck, even sleep! Get up, eat first, this is past the time of day!" Jani sighed in annoyance, he shook Alvin's arm.

Alvin opened his hand that was on his face, he looked at the annoyed Jani who was always bothering him.

"Let's try to eat," said Jani eagerly while opening the lunch box that he deliberately prepared for Alvin.

Alvin woke up and received a box of supplies from Jani, slowly he began to feed the fried rice made by Jani.

However, a second later Alvin had to try to swallow the fried rice with great difficulty, because it tasted very salty.

What people want to make me high blood? gerutu Alvin while trying to chew fried rice in his mouth.

"Where, good?" asked Jani with a look of expectant eyes.

Alvin looked cravings, he was confused as to what to answer. He does not want to hurt Jani if he tells the truth.

Finally he nodded, eating the fried rice quickly. He did not even want to chew it first, so that the saltiness was not too attached to the tongue.

Jani smiled happily to see Alvin who seemed excited about eating his homemade fried rice. He thought that fried rice was delicious as Alvin said.

After finishing the fried rice from Jani, ALvin immediately downed his mineral water to wash his mouth from the salty taste.

Fortunately, the fried rice is not much, Inner Alvin.

Alvin's eyes glanced to the right, glancing at the three men who were laughing happily.

They are Anji and his two friends. Now Alvin understood why the fried rice from Jani tasted salty. It must be because of Anji.

"If you like it, I'll do it again tomorrow!" exclaim Jani while cleaning the box.

"Can't, anyway tomorrow I'll make fried rice for you again" Jani debated.

"As far as you are. But, another we at least you try first before you give food to others," said Alvin, while preparing to go to the library.

He had to return the book he had borrowed to do the task first, before the class hours followed.

"Thank you for the food" continued Alvin as he walked away leaving the bewildered Jani alone.

Alvin dares to leave Jani in a deserted place, as he knows there is Anji there watching them from afar.

"What did that mean? I tried the fried rice this morning. It's delicious," said Jani frowning.

"Don't the fried rice be stale!" Jani widened his eyes, surprised by his own thinking.

Jani immediately took back the lunch box, then tasted a little leftover rice that was still inside. She didn't feel disgusted at all, even though it was Alvin's ex.

"Akh, salty!" Jani immediately threw back the rice in his mouth.

"Can't it turn gini anyway? muttered Jani while remembering what happened this morning at his house.

Yes, he just remembered that he had left the box for Alvin, after they had breakfast together.

"This must be Anji! Watch out for people if you meet," furious Jani, while rushing away from the place.

Just as he was just standing, his ears heard a familiar sound of laughter. Jani immediately turned his head, seeing Anji who was laughing with his friends.

"That's the guy" said Jani, walking quickly to his twin brother.

"Anji, you're using my fried rice, huh?!" jani shouted as she got close to Anji.

Jani's shout immediately stopped the laughter of the three men, they immediately opened his mouth, seeing the fierce face of Jani.

"What's? I'm not doing anything?" anji replied while turning her eyes away, dodging Jani's sharp gaze.

His hands seemed to be scratching his nape, trying to cover up their shock.

"Not lie! Basic byebelin! Shame on me, "Jani grumbled as she repeatedly hit Anji on the back.

"A–arrgh, sick Jani! I'm not doing anything, really!" said Anji while continuing to turn away from Jani's punch.

"Not to say anything, huh? You fucking brother lucknut!" Jani hits Anji even harder.

"Yes-yes, I did. Sorry-sorry," Anji replied.

"That's right! I'd really love you, make me ashamed in front of Alvin!" Jani looked teary, sulking at her twin.

"Yes-yes, sorry. I don't mean it. .. I just don't like it if you keep getting close to a cocky guy like him" Anji replied in a softer tone of voice.

"He's not arrogant, Ji. He just didn't have time to hang out because he was busy working while he was in college" Jani replied.

Anji frowned. "Where do you know he works?"

"I followed him a few days ago. It turned out that he went home from college to work in the middle of the night" replied Jani.

Anji glanced at each other with her friend, she did not know that her sister really liked Alvin, until she followed him like that.

"So you got caught coming home the other night with Mama, 'cause she's at work?" ask Anji.

A few days ago, Jani was caught coming home late at night, until she was punished by their mother.

Jani nodded. "I'm curious about Alvin. He was too mysterious, until I asked him about his classmates no one knew."

Anji breathed a tired breath, looking at the attitude of his sister. Jani will never give up when she wants something. He will continue to fight until he gets it.
