The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
25. Blood Moon

Located 20 horse carriages across the savannas where the Caspian Firearms Army marched, dozens of Yllgarian Gray-haired Wolves dressed in non-uniform Hunter suits were marching ready to attack. They were also heard shouting and howling savagely. Which they deliberately to knock out the opponent mentally.

While Caspian's forces, this time not riding the horse, did not seem disturbed by intimidation from the Lycan. They lined up neatly with weapons ready in hand.

It also appears that the Parpera-led Mage Troop that marched behind him also remained calm in response to the bluff of their opponent.

And shortly after the sound of long trumpets coming from the direction of the opponent was heard, dozens of Yllgarian Wolves began to rush ferociously towards the Rhodesodian army.

Seeing this, Caspian immediately raised his rifle and started aiming. "Ready aiming!" his shout was then followed by his troops in unison.

And after it was felt that the Lycan were within range of the bullet shot, Caspian gave the order. "Foot!" And he pulled the trigger.

Dozens of sounds of explosions were heard almost simultaneously. And although some bullets managed to penetrate the bodies of the Lycan, but like no pain, the Yllgarians did not reduce their speed, instead running increasingly wildly towards the Caspian troops were.

"As expected. Their endurance and perseverance in fighting was indeed extraordinary. And again this rifle will not be able to knock them down if they can jump nimble like that" Caspian told himself. A way that he could use to keep him calm and think logically in such a precarious situation.

"It's like they're not slowing down, General," Biggs said from next door to Caspian. Still seen firing his rifle towards the opponent. In this war, he served as the representative of Caspian.

"It seems like it's time we use that weapon" replied Caspian who started hanging his rifle behind his back. "Everyone, change your weapons!" caspian's orders later.

And following their leader, the gunmen hung their rifles behind their backs, and began to take out other, much shorter-looking weapons tucked away behind their waists.

The gun looked like a gun. It's just that it has a much larger size with a rectangular shaped bullet container that looks protruding at the bottom of its handrail.

The weapon has a similar mechanism to the Gutling Rifle. Which can shoot multiple bullets in one trigger pull. Aksa called it Mini UZI.

"Prepare your earplugs" Caspian shouted one last time, before then starting to use the mark with his right hand in lieu of verbal communication.

The ear protector Caspian referred to was an object like a plug that was installed in the ear hole behind their head protection.

Once everything was ready, Caspian was seen putting up the horses before then starting to run forward while raising his hands into the air. Signaled his troops to start attacking.

And seen dozens of soldiers began to run after the Great General of Rhodes, while shouting trying to reply to the wild howls of the Lycan who began to approach.

While in the stronghold of the Vistralle army, a Narva in noble knight clothes was observing the situation from the saddle of his horse along with several other knights.

"Have they lost their mind? They were about to face those beasts head-on?" said one of the knights who used a copper-brown protector, who was next to the noble knight earlier.

"They're not that stupid, Ba. They will not rashly try to face the savage Yllgarian if they are not sure they can win" said the noble knight later. "And I don't like their confidence" he added.

"Do you think they have a weapon that can defeat the Lycan, General?" ask another knight from behind.

"Even firearms alone are incapable of subverting the savage Yllgarians." The knight with the copper brown shield chimed in.

"Eitherway. My feelings are not good," replied the noble knight summoned by the General with a worried look towards the battlefield.

And back to the battlefield, now the two armies are only 5 horse carriages away before starting to collide with each other.

Caspian immediately took out an object shaped like a metal egg from inside the pouch on his left waist. And just as the front-running Lycan fighter jumped about to pounce towards him, he pressed the top of the egg-shaped object earlier.

Instantly an ear-piercing grunting sound rang out from the object. Even that voice could be heard by Caspian who had been wearing ear protection behind his head protection. Although only sayup.

Caspian quickly threw the metal object towards the other Lycan in front of him. Before then, deftly and without wasting any time, he began to point his weapon right at Lycan's rolling head withstanding the pain earlier, and pulled the trigger.

Several bullets came out in one pull of the trigger. And Lycan is no longer alive. Leaves three bullet holes right in the batok of his head.

And despite being seen enduring the pain, some of the Yllgarian Wolves who knew the source of the grunting sound started running towards the metal object earlier to destroy it.

But not five steps from the object, the bodies of the Lycan began to be bombarded with hot bullets by Caspian troops.

Biggs, who now uses his rifle as a sword in his right hand, and UZI in his left hand, start crashing into Lycan's herd in front of him. Keep them away from the sound-producing metal objects. This was followed by Caspian and the rest of the army.

The one-sided fight is back. The impact of the disturbing sound made the talons of the Lycan weakened and not strong enough to penetrate the clothes pelundung troops of Rhapsodia.

And even though the Lycan with physical capabilities above the human average can still move in the middle of the ear-splitting sound, but still they can not survive consecutive gunfire at close range.

Now the battle will of the savage Yllgarians began to be taken over by their survival instincts. And in the end running away was the best option for them at the moment.

But the Caspian Firearms Force did not allow any of the Lycan to escape.

As for the Vistralle parjurit, the sight before them looked extremely terrifying. Because now what they are seeing is the troops of Rhodesia who hunt the Lycan-Lycan like a wild animal.

Two or three farm soldiers fired their weapons at one Lycan so that they could not move and died. And so on until the Blood Moon Fighter Guild was barely left.

"I don't think they found a way to weaken the savage Lycans" said the Vistralle General, who appeared to be distrustful of what he was witnessing.

"Are we not going to command an army to help them, General?" a knight asked.

"Help those wild animals? Nope-no. It can hurt their pride" the General replied, shaking his head. "Besides, too, that noise can affect our soldiers," he added later.

"But if left like this, they'll finish off the Lycan and start attacking us, General," the knight argued.

"Yes, I know that. So instead, command the witches to launch a high-level Explosive Magic attack," the General retorted later. "We'll use this opportunity to destroy them all."

"But the attack could have hit those Lycan-Lycan as well, General."

"In the war, casualties must have fallen. What did you expect?" The general answered lightly. "Already, carry out my orders," he added, closing the argument.

"Okay, General!"

Back to the battle field. Now what was seen was a stretch of savannah filled with blood and the bodies of the Yllgarian Blood Moon Wolves.

Caspian, who had just pierced the stomach of one of the Lycan lying on the ground to make sure that he was completely dead, began to walk towards the egg-shaped object of metal earlier, which was, who then took it, and then turned it off.

Unnatural silence suddenly occurred. Caspian took off his headgear and ear protection. He stared around trying to get back to his hearing, when suddenly a huge fireball hit the ground next to where he was standing and exploded.

Almost simultaneously some fireballs also fell and exploded in several places. Dissipating the Firearms Forces.
