The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
01. Creating Map

Nata and Caspian were already in the meeting hall not far from the Central City square. They held a meeting with Versica.

"Oh, I've been wondering since I saw the large map in the meeting room of Her Majesty's Queen's House, when will the map for the southern region you will issue. It was also time for me to see it" Versica said after seeing a large sheet that Nata and Caspian held on a large table in the middle of the room.

"Yes, it is a little late because it is more difficult to make a map of the Southern Region than the inner region of this Kingdom, '" Nata replied as he turned the map sheet according to the directions drawn at the end.

The map was made of sheets of paper glued on thin sheets of wood just like the Map of Rhapsodia in Lucia's residence. It's just that because it is not directly mounted into one and forms a complete map, the map in the form of small parts is much easier to store and carry around in the form of a pile of wooden sheets. It was also very helpful because the size of the Map of the Southern Region was almost 4 times the size of the map of the territory of Rhodesodia.

"I think I was quite surprised today, when I saw the giant balloon at the bottom of the Great Ravine on my way here." The Narva woman looked closely at the map sheet in front of her. "But it seems I was wrong" he added sounding amazed.

"This is just part of it. Only the map for the Eastern Province was controlled by Vistralle." Caspian gave me other information.

"This map is so detailed and accurate, even the road and the building are exactly the same position and shape as I remember. That's because this is my residence in the outskirts of Meso City" Versica said later, pointing to the image on the map sheet. "How do you make it? What's using that giant balloon?"

"No. We use, as Aksa says; mystical objects or the like of our world." Nata answered with a smile.

"Oh, of course. Undoubtedly," Versica responded quickly while nodding repeatedly, as if he had just received an answer that he should have known.

"So now based on this map, can you tell me, starting from the places where the soldiers and the combat unions are located, the areas that are deserted from the guard, and important buildings like the storehouses of groceries, weaponry, or the treasury of the nobles?" Nata asked as he walked around the table and stopped next to Versica.

"You're going to carry out attacks on those places as stealthily as when they attacked this Central City 5 years ago?" Versica ascertained his guess.

"really. At least until we are sure we can win the war directly," Nata explained. "Because now we are in a position that allows us to be attacked by many kingdoms at once" he added.

"really. Just imagining it makes me desperate," Versica responded slowly. "All right then. We will start from here" he said later, pointing to a picture with the inscription Meso City on the top.

And after that they spent 2 hours to make a sign and give information on the map of the southern region, based on the explanation from Versica.

And although it is not complete entirely, because Versica still has not received the latest news about it from members of its information network, but eight-tenths of the map already has signs and information. Especially the route to the Trava Mountains.

"I think this is enough for now," said Nata reconsidered all the pieces of paper containing the information that he and Caspian intentionally paste on the map sheet as a marker.

"I'll try to contact them again after this. To ensure the area that we have not marked," said Versica who looks a little disappointed over the results of his imperfect work.

"Thank you, Miss Versica. That would be very helpful" Nata later said. "Then is there any progress on the rebels?" the young man asked as he sat down next to Versica.

"This is also what I want to talk to you about, Mr. Nata," replied Versica who was sitting facing Nata. "Before this I had a chance to meet with former royal spy Urbar first," he said later.

"Then?" Nata was seen erecting his body, attracted by Versica's change in attitude which became more serious.

"To be clear about this, I will first tell you about the person first," Vesica searched for a moment to flick her bangs aside.

"The intruder at the time?" sahut Caspian who remembers about the person who was being told by Versica.

"Although highly suspicious, the woman has a lot of valuable information about Tyrion, and even the rebel network that opposes Tyrion's rule." Versica continued. Regardless of Caspian's words.

"And do you intend to cooperate with that woman?" Nata asked calmly to Versica.

"really. And also, Joan wants to meet you in person" Versica replied later.

"Do you believe it, Ve?" Caspian asked.

"I can't trust him in full, nor guarantee that he won't betray." Versica. "But so far, almost two months ago, he has proven honest and useful in helping me gather information and engage with the rebels" he said.

"But it could have been a trick." Caspian still looks suspicious of the woman told by Versica.

"really. But the reason he helps us and wants to meet you, Mr. Nata, is because he needs to save his son if there is a war in the region where he lives" Versica explained later.

"Is that so?" Nata is seen tapping the table with his fingertips. Seemed to be thinking of something.

While Versica only nodded faintly without saying anything.

"If indeed the woman wants to meet me in person, ask to wait until we succeed in taking over the territory of Vistralle, Miss Versica," Nata said later. "And all that time ask him to continue to help you as he has done. We can provide protection for his son right now if that's necessary" he continued, which made Versica start putting smiles on her face.

"Okay, Mr. Nata. I will tell him, " answered the woman Narva quickly.

"And make sure that the woman understands that we will not bring war to her place if it is not necessary. And if that happens, he'll be the first to know. And can be prepared to save themselves" added Nata again.

"I understand, Mr. Nata. I'll ask him to cooperate so that the war doesn't touch his place." Versica looks a little relieved while leaning his body back.

"Don't worry, Miss Versica. I will also do my utmost to make war, or rather destruction, not happen to all regions where possible" Nata replied. "Because we have a duty to build and manage the region after we have successfully taken over. And it would be quite a troublesome job if we destroyed it by war."

"You're right, Mr. Nata," said Versica, who was seen thinking about Nata's words before taking a deep breath. "Well then, on this occasion let me treat you to a drink at Miss Luna's bar, after this," he said, standing up from a chair.

"No need, Ve. Mr. Nata is free to order anything for free at the bar" Caspian said, foiling Versica's plan.

"Then I will treat you the best drink in the city of Meso, when you visit there later" said Versica later.

"Thank you, Miss Versica. I'm looking forward to it."
