22. The New Queen

"All right, let's just say it's done. Now we're going to talk about your plans for an attack." Lucia suddenly interjected and changed the subject.

Hearing the answer from Nata Lucia just exhaled a long breath as if relieved because it was not too important. "Now I have to act carefully, Nat. Because we cannot lose more than this kingdom has received" he continued.

"Are you worried that I will sacrifice those 60 soldiers to do something in vain?"

"That's not what I meant." Lucia hurriedly corrected. "Everyone in this place knows, Nat. I'm desperate to take over our territory immediately and finish this war. But I don't want us to rush into it when there's a chance we'll start a war with the other side." Lucia's looking to catch her breath. "The kingdom has lost a lot. And I've wasted too much of our resources just like that" continued the luxurious-looking red velvet-robed woman later. "We can use a long-term plan as we have implemented before" he added.

Lucia was silent. But his gaze seemed to answer Nata's question.

While everyone in the room just fell silent trying not to give a response. And the awkward atmosphere began to re-form.

"What are you waiting for, good meal." Anna immediately invited her guests.
