Antology Story: Communication Tower II

In the next day, craftsmen and workers began to build a part of the Communication Tower called Antenna in a fairly sloping area not far from the top of the hill.

The witches covered the foot of the Antenna tower with earth and rocks so that it was not so visible from a distance. Until only part of the iron rod that stands towering that can be seen from a distance if anyone notices it.

And the job took an entire day, while the Trio of Hunters and the other soldiers helped to carry part of the Dredger Generator down to the bottom of the valley.

The next day they continued their work installing a Generator Scrambler of 2 types, based on where the scraper was installed.

The first is named Vertical Wind Turbine which is installed next to the Antenna tower. The shape is almost similar to the Antenna iron rod, only on the top is attached 3 flat metal like a fin but with a form of cross-linked thread that can rotate when blown by the wind.

They installed 2 Turbines of that type on the left and right sides of the Antenna tower.

Then the second is a Vertical Water Turbine installed at the bottom of the valley on the edge of the river that has been reviewed its position by a trio of previous hunters.

This type is more difficult to install, because it has to make sodetan on the river and build like a small tub before then making the floodgates back toward the river. The flow field also needs to be considered. The more the river flow decreases, the better.

Being the shape of a Vertical Water Turbine it was more like an Iron Ship propeller. It's just that the propeller wings are made more, and longer tapered at the end. And later it will be placed in the middle of the flow of water in the sodetan.

Actually, this type of Vertical Water Turbine is not always built when you want to build a Communication Tower. Because obviously the tool requires the flow of the river to move it. And there are only 3 out of 18 places that have a river flow where the Communication Tower was built. One of them was where the Hunter Trio group was assigned.

This time they finished all that construction just as the sun started to sink. In addition to building the Water Turbine, they also built a network of pipes containing copper cables to the top, to where the generator and communication equipment are located.

The night after dinner, the 18 members of the working group sat together around the hearth. In addition to relaxing and resting because they have completed all the work assigned to them, also because they will try to use the radio to contact the kingdom.

And after several turns of the knob, began to sound a voice of someone who is clearer even though slightly disjointed.

Everyone immediately recognized the voice of Aksa though heard because of it, before then back immersed in a disturbing buzzing sound.

"Oh, that was Mr. Aksa's voice, right?" chirp one of the craftsmen next to Riga.

"really. That's Mr. Aksa's voice" said the witch from behind Riga.

And it made everyone immediately approach, gathering in front of the Loudspeaker. They all look enthusiastic and excited waiting for Aksa's voice to be heard again.

"Why did Lord Aksa mention the antelope?" ask a soldier who was sitting behind the Speaker.

"It can be." The soldier looked small.

Shortly after a long shrill sound, Aksa's voice was again heard.

"Ki~ang~kal~an de~ar~" Her voice still sounds drowned.

Everyone who was surprised when they first heard the voice of Aksa, now they began to look happy because it meant that the task they were carrying was almost completely finished.

While Riga who had looked serious with the knob in her hand, now began to lift the microphone, closer to her mouth and began to reply to the voice of Aksa. "Group three heard it. Repeat group three hear it."

"Oh~ su~ara you guys are quite clearly heard." Slowly Aksa's voice began to sound clearer, although the noise before was still softly heard. "Is my voice clearly heard?" tanyanya.

"Yes, now it's much clearer, Mr. Aksa." Riga replied quickly.

"Oh, that means there's no problem with the Frequency Mixer. Are there any obstacles in the workmanship at that place?" Aksa's voice sounded a little garau.

"Thankfully there are no obstacles in the construction of either the Communication Tower, nor the Generator Scraper in this region, Mr. Aksa." Riga answered immediately.

"All right then. Then I congratulate you all. Because it has succeeded in creating the first long-distance communication network in the world," said Aksa congratulated.

And everyone was seen clapping and cheering happily at the congratulations.

"Thank you, Mr. Aksa," Riga replied later.

"Don't forget to ask the Hunter Trio to bring a lot of hunted meat from that place" Aksa added. And everyone laughed.

"Tell Mr. Aksa, these hills have only insects and wild grasses. Does he still want to be brought?" exclaim Loujze from the front of the hearth with Huebert and Deuxter. Which was then cut off with a louder laugh than the others.

After that, the night was passed with a small party to celebrate their success in completing the task.

The next morning on the fourth day, everyone began to pack and store their equipment back. But indeed some heavy equipment deliberately in living in that place. Also a tent and some cooking utensils. They build like warehouses next to buildings where communication equipment and generators are located.

Not to forget, they also make it touch with the surrounding environment. Like coating the walls with soil and rocks, also covering the roof with dry branches.

The Hunter Trio also reconfirmed that there were no people, or paths for the wood seekers and mushroom collectors around the place.

And at dusk, a shadow flashed past the clouds, before then several Yllgarian Owls descended to pick them up.

It seems that there are quite a number of working groups in the Airship. It was seen Nikolai walking over as the Trio of Hunters arrived on the deck.

"Thank you for the hard work" Nikolai said later. Replied with a big smile by the three people.
