The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
24. Begins

Two days later Aksa began contacting people associated with his design to make the objects requested by Nata.

"What other strange things do you want us to make, Mr Aksa?" Haldin shook his head slowly after reading a paper roll containing a drawing of the design he had just seen for the first time.

"It feels like decades have not seen your unique design like this, Mr. Aksa," said Matyas who was seen smiling broadly without moving his gaze from the Aksa design picture.

"Did you all miss my 'Godly' plans?" reply Aksa while raising his head to boast.

They were having a meeting at the main attelir of the Eastern Star. In addition to Haldin and Matyas, also attended Val, Marco, Couran, Go, Win, and several heads of craftsmen's association from South City.

Aksa himself was accompanied only by Lily. The two girls who had always been with him, Rafa and Luque this time were on another assignment to meet with Ellian, Katarina, and Selene is related to the medicinal ingredients that will be used not only for the soldiers, but also for the health and medicine fields that the plan will begin to build.

"There are so many things you want to make, Mr. Aksa. Are our materials sufficient for all this?" said Go who looks still studying his face in the list that Aksa made.

"Just complain to Nata, Miss Elaine. He who wants all those things," replied Aksa who was immediately replied with a tongue by Go for calling his first name.

"And how long do I have to complete all these plans?" Suddenly Val opened his mouth asking.

"You're asking the timing of the process as if making all this new equipment was a small thing to you, Val. That's called the teenage spirit. Optimist vibe. I like!" aksa said as she raised her two thumbs towards Val.

"Because I know Nata must have a time limit to execute his plan," Val replied casually.

"What's older is different, right?" chirp Aksa with a seductive grin that Val doesn't care about. "As much as possible for the manufacture of weapons can be completed within 1 to 2 months. Because the plan will be used for the soldiers to train," he continued to answer not only for Val, but also for others.

Hearing Aksa's words made everyone in the room start looking at each other and then start their small discussion.

"That includes his protective clothing and helmet," Aksa added. "And the rest, that other equipment, is at least finished in 3 to 4 months from now."

Some people seem to be a little nagging to accept the time limit, although not a few also seem to object.

"How, is there still something to ask? Or does anyone object and have any other suggestions?" aksa asked then who was answered silently by the others.

After waiting long enough, and still not getting a response from the others, Aksa finally spoke again. "Alright then I'll proceed to the main theme of this meeting."

"Main theme? Is there something you want to say?"

Instead of answering, Aksa lifted up a wide roll of cloth that had been on the floor next to where he was standing and began to carry it towards the large wooden board in the corner of the room. "Please, help me" he added as he was seen staggering with the roll of cloth.

"Is there a plan you want to make?" This time Matyas asked.

"really. This is the ultimate plan that will shake up this world order," aksa replied gasping after successfully installing one end of the cloth roll on the top of the wooden board and still holding the bottom to keep it rolled.

"Things that would shake the world order?" Couran looked to be twitching his forehead. For a long time he had not heard or seen such an artificial object.

While everyone in the room was seen starting to put on a curious and enthusiastic face.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I present you," Aksa said as she removed the other end of the cloth and let it fall apart. "Air Ship" he added, bowing slightly and pointing his hand at a design drawing that looked complex and detailed on the wide cloth, as if introducing someone with an important and honorable status.

"Air Ship?!"

Immediately everyone stood up from their seats and rushed over to see the Airship's plan more clearly.

At the same time, Nata also began training the soldiers and began discussing strategies regarding his plans in more detail with Lucia and the military elites.

Later that afternoon Nata and Caspian had a meeting with one of the royal informants at the bar where Luna worked.

The plan is to talk about information networks and potential rebel movements in the south that have been vacuumed by the absence of a leader.

.

It had been seen a long-haired Narva woman weaving neatly sitting in front of the bartender's desk as Nata and Caspian entered the bar.

"It seems I know the girl," Nata said without hesitation.

"He's one of our eyes and ears in the south. Versica. Former Urbar Champion." Caspian gave a brief explanation.

"Don't he ever propose to be our soldier in the early days of this kingdom?" Nata tried to pore over his memory.

"It's true."

Seeing Caspian and Nata approaching the bartender's table, the woman immediately stood up and slightly bowed in greeting.

"You're the girl with the fin sword, right?" Nata opened the conversation.

"You recognize me?" Versica did not expect Nata to recognize him.

"There may be someone who can not recognize the person who almost killed his life" Nata said with a little laugh.

"I'm sorry" Versica said, looking down in shame.

"He is Nata. Maybe you don't know him officially yet" Caspian told Versica.

"Greetings to Miss Versica. But before I forgive you, first I want to hear the story of why you want to be the royal informant who destroyed your homeland?" nata said as he pleased himself on the seat next to Versica's chair.

The girl with slender jaws smiled faintly at Nata's words. "I have no objection to it, Mr. Nata," he replied later as he followed Nata to a seat.

"But before that we better order a drink first. As always, Lun." Caspian sat down next to Nata.

"I'm Wine Star, Miss Luna." Versica is ordering.

And just as Nata was about to join the order, Luna suddenly interjected. "For you I'll make you the newest drink you've never tried, Mr. Nata."

"Oh, fine then. I entrust my order to you, Miss Luna," Nata said with a smile.

.

"My mother was one of the victims of the fire magic explosion in the city of Meso 6 years ago." Versica started telling stories when their drink order was coming. "Today he was buying flower seeds at a stall 6 buildings away from the center of the explosion."

It seemed that Nata who was sitting next to him was listening earnestly.

"And according to the story of the people who witnessed it, the witches of this region who had saved him from the rubble of the building that hit him," he continued later.

Looks Luna also listened while drying the glass from the laundry. Now there are only four of them in that place. Because the new bar will open later this afternoon.

"Now he lives in the Village of Reservoirs. It's been almost 4 and a half years. And although he could not walk anymore, but he was happy working to dry the leaves and various flowers for the concoction of herbal tea in that place." Versica smiled sincerely. The happiness that emanated from his eyes looked very honest.

While Caspian was just speechless staring at the glass before him. He had heard that story before.

"It should be with all the story, it is enough to make me throw and betray my homeland" said the woman Narva later. "But make no mistake, I still remain faithful and love my homeland. Meso City."

There was a faint sound of pieces of ice beginning to melt in Versica's glass.

"When I learned the truth behind the high-level explosive magic that destroyed central Meso, I started to promise myself. That I would not take up arms again without a compelling reason. I will only fight when it comes to the security and prosperity of my homeland." Versica searched his words.

"And I have kept that promise until now." Then the woman brushed off the hair covering her left eye before she spoke again. "So the question of why would I want to be a spy for the kingdom that has destroyed my homeland seems less than appropriate, Mr. Nata.

"For the only way to protect the city of Meso and its people today is to bring it back into this kingdom. And that's the main reason I'm doing this" he continued with a confident smile.

"So how? Are you satisfied with my answer?" tanya Versica who also ended the series of his story.

Nata did not answer. He just smiled as he raised his drink glass as if he was asking the woman toast without words. Which then greeted Versica by raising his drinking glass.
