The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
15. The Surprising Story

Aksa and Nata's entourage entered a waiting room after they were already in the building at the base of the largest tree.

The room had many frameless windows and a cover on one side. Which shows part of the settlement and also the bridge of the previous entrance.

Small glasses made of wood containing warm drinks are seen lined up neatly on the table in the middle of the rattan chair that surrounds it.

Aksa, Nata, and Rafa now seemed to change from enthusiastic and amazed to nervous and worried. Because soon they will meet with the leader of the Azuar Clan.

And soon there was an Elf man who looked quite old from behind the entrance. His long silver hair was braided backwards with several rattan bracelets woven on the ends in place of a strap.

Behind the Elf man followed the female Elf whose age did not look far adrift, with the same hairstyle as the Elf man earlier. It was just that the woman added a white flower along her braid.

Yvvone and the others immediately stood up when they saw the Elf man and woman coming in. "Moor Leader, Miss Istar," said the Aeron girl later.

"Master Moor, Miss Istar." Luque also greeted following Yvvone.

"Oh, Nueva? Long time we did not meet. How are you doing?" The Moor-called Elf man replied with a slight surprise to find Luque's whereabouts. It seems they know each other.

"My news is good, Mr. Moor." Luque replied courteously and gracefully.

"I never thought we'd see each other again in this place, Nueva. What an unusual coincidence." This time the female Elf called Istar spoke.

"really. It's a long story Miss Istar." Luque again replied still politely and gracefully.

"By the way who is Nueva?" aksa asked in a whisper to Rafa who was standing next to her.

"That's the title of an equal gift to the Holy Girl in Elf culture." Val who was standing right behind Aksa replied in place of Rafa who also seemed to have no idea about it.

"Oh, I never read about it. I think I really need a book on Elf culture" Aksa said in a whisper, which sounded like she was casting a spell.

"Some of why Luque has so many titles, anyway?" he continued to be annoyed by things that were not important.

"And these are the two young men I've talked about before, the Moorish Leader." This time it was Kanna who spoke after the leader's conversation with Luque was over.

"Include me Nata." Nata said while nodding awkwardly. Because he is not sure if he should extend his hand to be held, or just need to bend.

"And I am Aksa" followed Aksa, raising his hand as if greeting a friend.

Both Moor and Istar looked surprised after seeing Aksa and Nata introduce themselves.

"Nata and Aksa?" Moor asked as if he was confirming something.

"Yes, Leader. This one is Nata, this one is Aksa" Yvvone said this time reintroducing the two young men to the leader of the Azuar clan.

Then Moor and Istar looked at each other with a look of disbelief.

"Is there something wrong, leader?" Kanna asked with a little worry seeing the attitude of the two Elves.

"You never told us that their names were Nata and Aksa before" Moor replied.

"Why Leader?" Kanna asked again with more hesitation this time.

"Because we are waiting for them" said Istar who replied.

"Waiting for them?" Almost in unison everyone asked because they did not understand the intent of the Azuar Clan Leader's words.

"You're obeying us?" Nata also asked not understanding.

"Right," answered the short Moor.

"Oh, I can't believe it. Finally the two young men actually came." Istar spoke like half-uncertain half-relieved while staring alternately at Aksa and Nata.

"No. Who says this is sister Narva and a Morra girl who claims to be your descendants." Moor answered quickly.

"Oh, so." Aksa nodded slowly as if he understood the Moorish words just now. "Eh... For a second, did I just mishear?" the question was then after thoroughly processing the intent of the speech of the Azuar Clan Leader.

"Did you just say that our descendants told you that?" tanya Nata who seems not to understand the meaning of Moorish speech.

"Right, 200 years ago," the Elf man replied again.

"Two hundred... years? The past?" Aksa looked increasingly clueless the more the Moor gave an answer.

"Yes." Yeah." The Elf man nodded small.

While everyone who was in that place was also surprised and did not really understand the purpose of the Moorish speech.

"Attent. Do we have the same understanding of a word? Those descendants and ancestors clearly did not sound similar." Aksa again said trying to ascertain all the possibilities that make sense to him.

"Yes, you didn't hear me wrong. Because I remember very well those who told Miss Stellar of the great war of the Elves the year before the war. It also warns of the power of Alta Larma which will later be used for bad things." This time Istar said make sure.

Hearing this made Aksa and Nata look at each other. They both came to conclusions about this.

"What do you mean our descendants come from the future, Miss Istar?" tanya Nata then confirmed her conjecture.

Istar nodded in response to Nata's question. "They said it themselves. And it is evident that all their words about the future, really happened" he continued with an explanation.

"Awhile... Although I really like fantasy and time travel, but what do you both mean now is; that our descendants from the future go back in time to warn you?" Aksa was still trying to convince himself of the question.

Moor and Istar seem to not understand the meaning of Aksa's words. So they just kept quiet and gave no answer.

"Hard to believe." Kanna seemed to be shaking her head slowly.

"It's something I never imagined before" Solas said from next door to Kanna.

Val, Lily, Rafa, Yvvone, and Luque were silent. Because although not entirely sure, but they know and believe that the Oracle chose the two young men must not be without reason.

"And if what Mr. Moor and Ms. Istar say is true, it means that we will most likely never return to Earth again" Nata said, disappointed with his own thoughts.

"That's not too bad, is it?" sahut Luque quickly. His face looks radiant. "At the end of the day we will get married too" he added.

"What do you mean, Luq?" Aksa seemed to be unable to accept seeing Luque happy to hear of the possibility of them not being able to return to Earth again.

"Can you explain more clearly, Lord Moor, whose descendants are these people with? Who's their great-grandmother?" luque asked quickly regardless of Aksa's words.

"We don't know. Because they don't talk about it" Moor replied quickly.

"But as I recall the Morra girl's Soul Stream is similar to this Miss Soul Stream," Istar said as she pointed towards Rafa.

"What's? Like Rafa?" luque's reply sounded more like disbelief than disbelief.

"Don't his face look like this guy?" he continued by pointing towards Aksa.

"Because for too long, I've forgotten their faces." Istar replied.

"Try Miss Istar watch this young man's face. Surely you will soon remember once you find an equation," said Luque who looks not to give up.

While Rafa himself looked surprised to hear Istar's words earlier. But after that he began to blush with his own thoughts and shadows.
