The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
Antology Story: A Western Group

An iron boat appeared docked at the port dock of West City that morning. The port rush was seen to be increasing after the attack on the Cleyra and Solidor areas carried out the day before.

A petite Morra girl dressed in the clothes of a Witch Fighter narrowed her eyes as she pointed her palm forward in front of her forehead against her gaze from the sunlight.

"A year has passed" said a Morra man dressed as a Knight Escape from behind the girl. Another long-haired man in the clothes of a Hunter was standing next to him.

The three of them were on the deck waiting for the ship to actually dock at the harbor.

Shortly afterwards there was the cry of a woman calling from the direction of the pier on the sidelines of the seagull screams and the crackling of wood as the waves hit.

"Elde! Sigurd! Axels!"

And Margaret, standing next to Shuri and Maeve, waved at the three men.

.

"Welcome back, you guys." Margaret said as the six of them were already in Margaret's den in the Licensing Hall.

"absolutely crazy. In just a year of our stay, you guys have taken back the entire southern region?" sigurd nodded in disbelief.

"Is it true that the two boys are back?" Which was immediately interrupted by Ende who was sitting next to Maeve.

"What really happened to them?" Axel chimed in.

"And what is that?! How does that thing make a sound?" Sigurd who had been observing the changes in Margaret's room seemed very curious about the Radio that released the song at the end of the room shelf.

"Slowly. I know you guys have a lot of questions. I'll tell you everything" replied Margaret trying to stop the barrage of questions from the three members.

And then the female vice-chairman of the Star of Fire began to tell stories about what happened after Ende, Sigurd, and Axel sailed west.

.

"Did I not hear wrong? A ship floating in the air?" Axel interrupts in the middle Margaret tells a story.

"You didn't hear wrong. And I'm sure you won't believe it even if you see it for yourself, or even ride it" Maeve said, confirming Margaret's story.

"You ever ride it, Maeve?" ask Ende later.

"Earlier. And it felt really like a dream," the flap-haired girl replied with a face full of excitement.

"Oh, I want to ride it too" replied Sigurd who sounded envious and excited.

"Yes, the Airship is also one of the things that allows us to take over the southern region in a relatively short time." Margaret spoke again.

Axel shook his head slowly hearing the truth.

"Don't wonder. They always do things well, don't they?" shuri added lightly.

"It's true." Ende nodded in agreement.

"So a few weeks after we left, the two young men reappeared from inside the cave" Axel said, trying to repeat what he caught from Margaret's story.

"true." Margaret answered.

"And within eight months, they began to conduct special training of the soldiers, and to make weapons and the Airship."

"true."

"Then in less than two months, the kingdom had managed to take over the entire old territory in the southern mainland? That so?" close Axel with a question of making sure.

"really. And Tyrion was found dead two weeks ago in the northern suburbs of the Damcyan region." Margaret added other information.

"Also we are currently conducting an offensive to take over the territory of Solidor and Clyera from Joren." Shuri added the information.

"Oh, is it possible because I've been on the head too long, huh? My head got dizzy hearing that story" said Sigurd exaggeratedly.

"Truly a crazy story." Ende looks to be slowly groping.

"As expected of them" Axel said. "Where are they now?" tanyanya.

"It's still in their tent at the bottom of the Alcove of the Stars" replied Margaret.

"Yes, I'm coming. I also want to see what the Airship looks like" Sigurd said later.

"Yes, as you look at the Airship, stop by the central building first to complete your routine record-keeping" Margaret said.

.

Accompanied by Shuri, Ende and Axel and Sigurd use the Steam Train to get to Central City Station.

"So this tool to make coffee without having to brew it?" sigurd asked when he saw a scale-like device with two metal tubes attached to either side.

Currently they were in a steam train dining car passing through Bukit Reservoir.

"really. Aksa called it Balan Syphon Kopi Meker, if not wrong." Shuri replied with a little explanation.

"How could they come up with such a strange idea?" Sigurd looked a little amazed to see the object of the coffee maker that has now begun to pour warm coffee from one of the tubes to the cup that had been prepared by Shuri before.

"More than that, this powder is a dried drink?" This time it was Ende who spoke while feeling the white milk powder from a copper cup next to the coffee maker.

"That's not how much. There's still something like this. But food." Shuri replied like he was showing off his own things.

"Maybe I need a vacation to catch up with me on the man-made goods" Sigurd said later as Shuri began putting sugar into his coffee mug.

"I think it can be if it's just a day," Shuri replied after sipping a warm drink in his cup. "Because we have already started a project to open a trade route to the east sea" he added later.

"Hey-hey, we just arrived today. Do you want to kick us out?" It looks like Sigurd did not accept Shuri's words just now.

"So those towers and copper rope digs that allow us to communicate over long distances directly?" Suddenly Axel who had been observing out the window asked while pointing to an Antenna Tower on a cliff behind the North Garrison complex.

"really. The copper cable network currently covers all corners of this Central Region. But it is still in the works for the southern mainland" Shuri replied.

"What is still in the heads of the two young men?" Axel asked softly while shaking his head.

"Oh, for Deuz's sake! Is that the Airship?" sigurd almost made all the passengers in the carriage look at him.

"Oh, it's really a ship floating in the air" said Ende, looking amazed, as they had passed the North City Train Station and started crossing the Great Gorge bridge.

"really. It was the new fourth Air Ship to conduct a test flight" Shuri explained.

"Fourth? Really.." said Sigurd.

"First they made iron sailing ships. Now they're making ships sail in space" Axel said as he stared at the Sailboat hanging on a giant balloon hovering just above the Great Gorge.

.

"I'm sure this must be from one of their weird tools," sigurd said when he saw a map almost the size of the height and length of one of the walls of the Cedrik room in the Service Exchange Hall in Central City.

"really. It was the original image of this region taken from space with a device called Dron." Cedrik.

"It was beyond words" Sigurd responded later, circulating his gaze observing strange equipment or objects he had never seen before in the room.

"If there are no obstacles later tonight we will have a meeting with the whole group and also Mr. Dirk to discuss about our trade routes to the west" said Cedrik returned the theme of the conversation.

"Alright, but after this I will go to the second place of the young man first" Axel said later.

"There's no hurry. They will also participate in our meeting later" said Cedrik.

"What time is the meeting?" Axel asked.

"Around seven o'clock in the night. Still ten hours away," replied Cedrik, staring at the clock on the wall above the entrance of his room. "Rest you guys first. Or go around this area first. Because a lot of things have changed since you left," he added.

"Yes, that seems like a good idea" Sigurd replied later. "I'll go around this town first. I miss Mr. Edward's food" he added as he walked to the exit.

"Yes, I haven't tasted Lumire's wine in a long time either." Ende said as he followed Sigurd out.

"Then, I'll see you later tonight, chairman," Axel said, then the last one out of the room.
