The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
33. Aerial Picture III

Nata walked up to the table and pointed to the two lined boards that now showed a moving-looking image.

Everyone immediately drew closer to the table after Lucia. Standing in groups in front of the picture board, right behind Aksa, Nata, and Lucia.

And because it was too narrow, some people were forced to give in not to see it now. Like Rafa, Luque, Lily, and a few others decided to take a look at it after all was done.

"This board is just like your laptop." Lucia recalled the moment she saw those two picture boards.

"Yes, Your Majesty. This thing is called a Monitor Screen." Nata answered. "He can display both still images, as well as moving images. It can also be a sound."

"Yes, I know about that." Lucia nodded.

"Well, so now this monitor is displaying the image captured by the drone." Nata begins his explanation.

"Caught?" Lucia did not understand Nata's words.

"I mean, the picture the drone was looking at." Nata repeated his explanation using a word that was easier to understand.

"seen? So that thing has eyes?" Lucia looked confused. It was not the same with the people standing behind him.

"Yes, more or less like that" answered Nata who seemed to be sorting out words to explain them to Lucia and the others.

"You see that silver ball with a lot of its round glass at the bottom of that Drone? That's his eye" said Aksa as he directed the drone to fly closer. It is easy to see Lucia.

"Oh. As it turns out." Lucia seemed hesitant, should she ask in more detail about the metal ball called the eye by Aksa, or not.

"I'll take that as magic and won't ask how it happened. For surely you will be blurting out the absurd at me again" chirped Jean later, as if to answer Lucia's doubt.

Everyone chuckled at Jean's words just now. They strongly agreed with the female knight.

"Oh, right. Now there's a picture of us in what it's called, this screen board," lucia said a little surprised but amazed to find her face and some people appeared on the monitor screen while the Drone was in front of them.

"That's our picture right now" one of the men exclaimed.

"It feels like it's glazing" another responded.

"This is so incredible. So we can feel like flying with this Dron object," said Lucia who still looks amazed by the ability of the artificial object Aksa.

"Wait until you see this one" Aksa said later. "Now try to pay attention to the screen," he continued, controlling the drone away from the tent.

Together with the Drone that continues to float up, the image of the cliffs of the Star Alley seen in the monitor screen is getting smaller and smaller. And then show the overall shape of the Gorge from above. Complete with Gondola Station that looks quite clear at the end.

"It!" Orland who this time shouted stifled in surprise.

And not stopping there, Aksa began to move the drone north. And seen in the screen, the southern boundary of the Central City whose building is recognized by some.

Aksa then turned it towards the east, and the steam train line looked like a line on a dull brown sheet of paper.

And when the drone was headed back to the Precipice of the Star Alley, it was seen behind the cliff of the southern ravine, an ocean that shocked everyone who saw it.

"What is the southern sea? And... does that mean opposite it is the land of Ceodore?" Amithy who was standing next to Lucia and Orland looked in disbelief.

That's because in fact now they can see the opponent's territory without moving from place. And even through the ocean.

"Real and live. And this map can be directly printed on paper without the need to curl it," Aksa added.

Lucia looked towards Nata meaningfully. Then divert it to Caspian and Orland in quick succession. His mind was filled with possibilities that such tools could do in helping them win the war.

"Now I understand why Aksa calls it the Eye of God." Lucia was starting to look excited

"Can? Right, guys? I am indeed the Messenger assigned to lend this Eye of God to all of you, Mortals." Aksa replied with her typical arrogant tone.

"And as His Majesty might be thinking right now, that we will use this tool first of all to make an accurate map of the region. Then we can use it as a tool to conduct reconnaissance to the territory of the opponent," said Nata gave an overview of the planned use of the drone later.

"It's really..." Lucia looks out of words. "It seems that you are really serious when you say not to hold back" he said later.

"This is not how much. Nata has given me the green light to activate the limit break. So look forward to my legendary relics that are no less than the mystical equipment made by the Elves." Looks like Aksa started babbling on her own.

"Then how far can this device fly?" Lucia asked back.

"Sorry, Queen." Suddenly Aksa interrupted Lucia's words. "Because you already recognized it as the Eye of God, so don't mention it with this thing or that tool. His name was Qubeley" he said, later correcting Lucia.

Hearing Aksa's words, some people felt a little unacceptable because their Queen was treated like that. But they can still tolerate it because Aksa did it. Although it looks like Jean is ready to pull the sword when she hears it.

"Oh, I'm sorry" Lucia replied. And everyone felt even more sorry to hear their Queen apologizing just like that. "So how far can this Kyublei fly?" he said then asked again.

"It is still within the range of its controller. Which is more or less the distance between this place to Gondola Station in the form of a Hemisphere." Aksa answered.

"I mean in that long distance in all directions." Nata helps to explain.

"That means it can also fly as high as the distance between this place and Gondola Station?" Caspian.

"Right, Mr. Caspian," Nata replied nodding.

"And can still take pictures with 1080p resolution at its maximum height." Aksa added information that was not understood by the others.

"So if this controller moves, then I mean, Kyublei can fly as far as anything?" ask Lucia to make sure.

"really so. But it's only four hours before the battery has to be recharged." Aksa replied with a proud look towards Lucia.

"That means taking these controllers across the whole of Rhodesodia means we can make a map of the region accurately all the way to the corners" Orland said.

"But for a moment, that means we'll still find it difficult to conduct reconnaissance in the opponent's territory." Lucia looks like she's weighing something. "Because there's no way we're taking the controller around the opponent's territory, right?" he gave a reason.

"That's a problem we'll solve once the Airship can be used, Your Majesty." Nata replied with a fluffy smile.

"Oh, right. We still have another flying object" said Lucia quickly

"But before that, let's all look up, we're going to Group Selfie." Suddenly Aksa interjected while pointing towards the Drone hovering low above the tent.

"Everyone, say cheese!"
