The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
Storyline: Prelude

"So the plane was after Nezarad, Nalbina, and Nabradia?" Tyrion asked Xiggaz the night after the assault on all three places.

"Yes, Sir. It seems like they are indeed intentionally to surround us," Xiggaz replied from the chair in front of Tyrion's desk.

"That bastard's kingdom," Tyrion said sounding very upset. "Then do you understand where they got the information about the meeting?" tanyanya then tried to divert her sense of regret.

"It seems, after I dug deeper, it was a spy network rebuilt by Joan, sir," Xiggaz replied sounding hesitant.

"Joan?! That woman did it?" Tyrion began to raise his tone.

"Although I don't want to believe it either, but that's how I got information from some of their members that got caught," Xiggaz explained more carefully after seeing the reaction from his master.

"How dare he betray me. You don't know what's lucky" Tyrion growled while hitting his desk.

"And it seems like he's been moving in the shadows to help bring down the Dux Vistralle region." Back Xiggaz gave the information he knew.

"So he's been doing it all this time? Why would he do that?" Tyrion leaned his body against the back of the chair. Can't believe someone he saved betrayed him.

"I don't think either. What does Rhodesodia have to offer until she does all this?" Xiggaz was as untrustworthy as Tyrion.

"Is it possible that he's still angry about what happened 3 and a half years ago?" Tyrion begins to suspect the reason Joan betrayed him. "But the death of the man from the Ghaltia family was inevitable. I don't have the strength to save him" he continued speaking for himself.

Xiggaz, who had other thoughts, simply chose to remain silent.

"And it's not my fault that he refused all the help I was given, either" Tyrion continued as if seeking justification. "Even choose to go and live in poverty in the city of Gala, in a region that is experiencing such famine."

"The land he lived on belonged to the Ghaltian family" Xiggaz said.

"Stay away. What's the point of guarding a baron's family's land like that?" rebut Tyrion quickly. "And now he's trying to avenge me? That woman is so cute."

"I don't think Joan has any plans to take revenge on you, sir." Xiggaz finally expressed his thoughts.

"Yes, that was before he gained strength and also the opportunity to do so," Tyrion replied quickly. "Don't be so naive, Xig. Human nature is like that" he continued.

While Xiggaz tried wisely chose not to answer the words of his master.

"Find and arrest that woman right now, Xig. And bring it to me" Tyrion ordered.

"Actually I have found it, sir." Back Xiggaz looked hesitant to reply. "However it feels it will be quite difficult to catch him," he continued.

"Where is he now?"

"Now Joan is in Nalbina which has been ruled by the Kingdom of Rhodesia" Xiggaz replied later.

"Shhh... shit!" Tyrion threw the silver candle holder on his desk into one of the glass cabinets to his left.

The sound of clashing metal and broken glass rang out loud echoing. Just when Vistralle knocked on the door of the room that was already wide open as a sign of politeness.

"Did I come in time?" vistralle said from the doorway.

"Ck, what else now, Vis?" tyrion asked in annoyance upon seeing Vistralle's whereabouts.

"I just want to continue the report of one of your soldiers who did not dare to enter because he saw your anger" Vistralle said as he walked in before being invited. And then sit on the chair next to Xiggaz.

Tyrion exhaled heavily before returning to his sitting position. "And what's that report?" tanyanya.

"Rhapsodia's forces are beginning to move from the Eblan region towards this city" Vistralle replied calmly.

This time Tyrion did not shout like before. He just held his temple in fret.

Tyrion did not answer. He is still seen holding his temple in a huff.

"All will end when this territory is taken over by them" said Vistralle once again.

"I know about that, Vis. It's just that the north hasn't listened to my request since the Civil War broke out in Elbrasta." Tyrion finally answered. Although in anger. "They can only give me some Mystic Weapons to help. That's all, that's all" he explained.

"And do you think with some mystical armed Champion can defeat the forces of that kingdom? Even now they also have a Champion with his Mystic Weapon." Vistralle is back.

"I know that too, Vis. Stop complaining and tell me what your plan is?" Tyrion's tone of voice had already begun to rise.

"My plan was already in disarray after they sent the Airship with the magic-guided cannon to the Holy City," Vistralle replied still looking calm.

"So you're just gonna give up?" ask Tyrion later.

"Yes, giving up is also a plan, right?" reply Vistralle calmly. "But maybe it won't suit both of us. Because it means death" he continued.

"Then, what are you gonna do? Fleeing?"

"Right, I'm gonna run south." Back Vistralle answered Tyrion's question quickly. "Are you going to stay? Isn't running away your mainstay, Ty? Why is it different now?"

Tyrion stared at Vistralle. "I still have to endure" he replied reluctantly. "At least until I manage to kill the young Queen."

"Oh, so that's your big plan? You want to send some kind of hit man to finish off their queen?" Vistralle deliberately looks surprised to respond to Tyrion's remarks.

Tyrion was still staring cynically at Vistralle without answering.

"Beheading will stop his feet and hands. But do you have the right people to do the job?" Vistralle asked in an unconvinced tone.

"You don't need to know about it" Tyrion replied not wanting to tell Vistralle about it.

"Yes, at least you look pretty confident." Then Vistralle got up from his chair.

"In that case, I would like to apologize and also thank you first. For everything that has happened so far. Because maybe this is the last time we'll see each other" Vistralle said later. "Goodbye and good luck. Make sure not to run away too late," he continued, walking out of the workspace.

"The man sucks," growled Tyrion at Vistralle who walked away from his room.

While in Wang City in Nalbina region. Vossler is seen conversing with Joan in one of the tents set up among the rubble of the city gates that have been destroyed.

"Thank you, you guys have done a good job. Now healers and healers are getting ready with treatment tents to start dealing with the wounded" Vossler said.

"Yes, General. I've also ordered members of the spy network to help usher residents into the tents." Joan replied.

"And from what I heard, your network in Zang City also managed to get the residents out before Mr. Evora attacked. I personally also thank them for the hard work they did" Vossler added.

"Thank you for the appreciation you gave me, General. I'll tell them about your thanks" Joan replied respectfully.

"But still we can't relax yet. Because this is not the end of our job. We'll still be carrying out attacks into Solidor territory after this" Vossler later recalled Joan.

"Yes, I understand, General. And my informant will arrive tonight to report on the situation and readiness in the Solidor region." Joan who was aware of it answered firmly.

"Goodoo. We must hurry up and end this war" replied Vossler, pouring a drink on Joan's empty glass. "For our success," he said later while lifting his drinking glass which was also fully filled.

"For our success" Joan replied, raising her drinking glass, toasting with Vossler.
