The Great War of Rhodesia

The Great War of Rhodesia
5. Hoopla

In the afternoon something happened that shook the servants, workers, and soldiers guard at the Lucia residence.

Their queen had lunch with the Royal Highnesses in the Canteen room. Where the Canteen room is a dining room for the workers, servants, and guard soldiers in the residence. The usual ones were also for the dining room of some Knights and Royal Witches.

Some of the people who were eating looked surprised to see more than 25 people from the Cabinet and Parliament following Lucia to sit down to eat with them. Filling the cafeteria room which is quite spacious.

And instantly it caused a stir in the Canteen room. Everyone felt uneasy and hurriedly finished their meal and immediately left the place, even though Lucia ordered everything to be normal.

No less excited than the people in the Canteen, the kitchen maids and Cooks also seemed to be moving all the tableware from the Main Dining Room to the Canteen.

And it was all because Aksa insisted on eating in the Canteen.

"Why do you always make a fuss anyway, Aks?" sahut Nata when he saw some soldiers who hurriedly left his seat at the end of the room, even though they were not finished with the food.

"Where is there? I just want to eat at this place. They are the only ones who want to come. Not my fault, dong?" aksa replied leisurely as he sat on the long bench before Lucia.

"What's going on with this place until you're eager to eat here?" asked Nata who then sat next to Aksa.

"Didn't you see it, Nat? Doesn't this place remind you of that famous magic school dining room?" aksa answered while looking around the Canteen room.

The cafeteria room had a high ceiling decorated with simple chandeliers. The walls of the building are not covered with cement, to show an arrangement of stone and wood that makes it look shabby and antique.

Then there are 6 long tables that have benches to sit 60 people at once face-to-face in one table, which looks lined up next to each other right in the middle of the room.

"Already, don't get into too much trouble. So how's the story going until you guys can disappear without a trace with all of a sudden like that?" asked Lucia who looked impatient, representing the others who also felt impatient to hear the reason about the departure without the news of the two young men.

And then Nata began to tell what he and Aksa experienced to others.

.

"It is fitting that I feel that the two of you have not changed at all from what I once remembered. So you're really eighteen?" caspian responded to Nata's story.

"Nineteen in a moment" Aksa added.

"That means you two are just like me right now," Luque said looking elated.

"Yes, it's not the same, Miss Luque. We're not not getting older, but just passing the time." Nata tries to explain that they are not immortal like Luque.

"But what surprised me was that Rafa's hand was back in one piece. So you can really grow organs huh, Luq," Aksa said as she gave a small nod looking at Rafa's arm sitting next to Luque.

Some of the new people and servants were shocked and grieved to hear Aksa calling Luque without the name of Primaval. Even without the addition of the word 'Miss' to show respect.

"True, I am so grateful that Miss Luque wants to heal my arm," said Rafa who looked truly grateful.

"Oh, don't you call him Primaval anymore?" Aksa was aware of the change from the way Rafa spoke.

"That's because we're best friends now," replied Luque who sat between Aksa and Rafa cheerfully. It seemed that the mood of the hundreds-year-old girl was being good at the moment.

"Oh, really?" Aksa was surprised to hear this. But then he started to smile. "Look on, Nat. My plan worked, didn't it?" he said to Nata.

Nata is seen ignoring Aksa's words and begins to ask Fla who is next to Dirk across the table. "See now you're taking your father's place, Fla?"

"Yes, Mr. Nata. Now I'm replacing my father as Village Chief" replied Fla, who is now seen growing up with a moustache and a rarity on his face.

"You're the Village Chief, Fla? Is your right hand now an artificial hand?" chirps Aksa who suddenly asked something that has nothing to do.

"You don't confuse people by asking strange things from comics and cartoons like that, Aks." Nata warns.

"And who knows, Nat. I'm just making sure" Aksa later said.

"Already, don't listen to that, Fla. Then how's your dad doing? It's fine, right?" nata continued his conversation with Fla.

"Now He is getting physically weak, but He is fine at home. Play with his grandchildren" replied Fla who looked very good.

"Do you have children?"

"Yes, Livia and I got married a while after you both disappeared. And lucky now that we have been blessed with a daughter and a son," replied Fla still with a face filled with gratitude.

"I congratulate you, Fla," Nata said later.

"Congratulations, Fla," followed Aksa later.

"Thank you, Mr. Nata, Mr. Aksa."

"Many are married. Just like Mr. Edward. Before this we had a short stop at his shop. And his wife is beautiful. Are any of you married?" ask Aksa to the others.

"If I'd waited for you, Aks." Luque suddenly replied which made the new people and the servants shaken to hear him.

Even those who were familiar with Luque were only able to laugh awkwardly. Not knowing what to respond to. Because only Aksa, Nata, Rafa, and Luque themselves know about the discussion about the terms of being a husband that Luque used as a reference from his words earlier.

"Diana and Thomas. They got married three years ago" said Margaret who tried to change the awkward atmosphere that was happening.

"If you are, Her Majesty the Queen?" aksa asks later, who tries to avoid the possibility of Luque returning asking her to be husband. "Let me guess, definitely not yet, right? You must be lacking association because your kingdom is isolated, right?" he said with a joke that sounded had begun to cross the line.

"Dragon's talking, Aks," said Nata.

"Mr Aksa!" There were some people attacking Aksa.

"I haven't heard the words that make my ears hot. You're looking to die, boy?" sahut Jean who was sitting right in front of Nata with a threatening tone and a body that leaned towards Aksa.

Lucia suddenly started laughing after hearing Aksa's words. "Haha, I haven't heard such ridicule for a long time" he said later amid laughter.

"You laugh because you're mocked? You're okay, aren't you, Queen? I'm so scared of myself now" said Aksa, who was seen trying to hide behind Luque's body.

"Hey, kid! Watch what you say!" This time Jean spoke while pointing wildly at Aksa.

"But I guess I'm lacking in association right now. And it'll probably be a long time like this." Lucia spoke again. A bitter smile was seen on his face.

The atmosphere began to feel gloomy after Lucia finished speaking.

"If you were, Jean? Are you married? Is it too late to get married at your age?" Aksa again said trying to change the atmosphere.

And immediately Jean stood up and pulled the sword from its sheath, which surprised Lucia and Helen who were next to her. "You're looking for something because of me. Come and die in my hands, you devil boy!" he then prepared to slash his sword before being prevented by Helen and Lucia.

And once the furore was muted, everyone started laughing. Then start telling each other about the life they experienced in the last five years.
