30. Project Magic I

"To fight those who use such means, we must also use the same way."

Nata seemed to be talking to Aksa in their room.

It had been a day since Nata had arrived back in the Azuar Forest. Right now they were talking about further plans, while waiting for a meeting with the other Elf Clans tomorrow morning.

"You mean to attack the opponent from behind the defensive line by using the Arcane Stone?" Aksa asked ascertaining the meaning of his best friend's words.

"really. But with a larger scale," replied Nata.

"Yes, I understand what you want. It's just that if we want to create a Magic Formation with a greater capacity than the Arcane Stone, then we need stabilizers." Aksa retaliated.

"Because basically the workings of the Magic Formation within the crystals of the Aeron Clan is to use mind control to determine its purpose" he explained.

"And it's obviously impossible to use in such a big way. Because there will be no living beings who are able to withstand the back pressure of the Soul Stream that is released when using it."

Aksa closes by mentioning the risks that may occur.

"Hm... how about we heed the navigation section? We just need to make it fix. Or make some kind of target for his purpose?" Nata is still not giving up by offering other ideas.

"Hm.. You mean like a passageway that is definitely the position of both ends?" Aksa.

Which Nata answered with a small nod.

"Hm... If that could be possible." Aksa seemed to be considering the input of her best friend.

After that, they began to discuss about the manufacture of mass transfer devices from the technical side. Until they are exhausted and fall asleep.

In the morning Aksa and Nata along with others attending the meeting mentioned earlier will talk about the magic equipment made by Aksa with the Elves of all the clans.

The meeting was also planned to use Nata to talk about mystical weapons if indeed the Elves were impressed with the magic equipment made by Aksa.

And after having a small talk in the hall while waiting for all the clans to arrive, the Elves were then taken to an open space in the backyard of the Moorish residence.

In that place there is a long wooden table with various types of strange objects lying on it.

At the back of the table were also various objects of much larger size and more bizarre shapes that had almost entirely never been seen by the Elves in their lifetime.

"That's all you've made in this place?" Xorzio, the leader of the Aeron Clan asked Aksa in slight admiration.

"Rafa, Luque, Yvvone, and the others also helped me make it." Aksa answered.

"But all the plans and workings of the boy made it" Yvvone said.

"Yes, who else do you think could have designed this equipment besides me?" reply Aksa with his arrogant performance.

"Oke-okay master designer, it is time for presentation," Nata said as he patted Aksa's shoulder in passing.

And shortly after all the Elves had prepared before the table full of strange tools, Aksa began to step forward.

"Yes, all this equipment I made, despite its badass and intimidating shape, but it was all equipment to build. But remember, do not rule out the possibility of being used as a weapon by people who intend," said the young man later.

"Alright, let's start the exhibitions."

And Aksa started from the thing closest to him. A device that resembles a Firearm.

"Don't get me wrong, this isn't a Firearm. It is a tool to mount nails or pegs automatically so as not to bother hammering."

Then without being asked Rafa to lift objects such as Firearms and demonstrate how to use it as Aksa's assistant.

"Ah, so that's how it works" said Elf from Marga Realn after knowing the function of the tool.

"I think it will be useful for those who are not very good at metal magic," the Elf added later.

"Or for those who are not very good at controlling the Soul Stream in general," Aksa said trying to correct.

"Because of the equipment this time, this edition of the Carpentry Set, the target market is indeed people who originally have Soul Flow but are not experts in using it," the young man explained.

It seemed that the Elves were nodding in understanding. Some are also starting to discuss about its possible use in real terms.

"Well, to save time, let's move on to the next tool." Aksa is asking for attention from his audience.

"Yes, I once again remind you there are no weapons in this Carpentry Set. So don't get me wrong thinking this is a sword of destruction" he continued pointing to a sword-like object with a large, serrated flat blade.

"This tool is a chainsaw. So make it easier for us so there is no need to make a fuss when you want to cut a tree," he explained later

"But yes, arguably can also be used as a weapon to fight Undead," he continued.

This time Ares, Ymone's husband, who replaced Rafa, demonstrated how to use the chainsaw.

The Elves were shocked when the device was turned on for the first time. Clenching is not comfortable to hear.

Then Ares tried to cut the branches of the tree that had been prepared before as a tool of his demonstration.

This time the Elves had a more mixed reaction than before. Some consider this tool useful, some assume there is need for additional security if you want to use it.

After that Aksa continued his introduction to other equipment.

"Then this one is not a buffer or something." Aksa set up an object shaped like a chest-high metal milestone, with several circles threading in the center, and a square flat metal base.

At the top there is a hand grip.

"But we can't show it in this place. We'll try it later somewhere else" continued the young man again.

"So does this tool."

Aksa lifted another object similar to the previous Stamper shape, only it had a drill bit on the bottom.

"This is a drill for digging wells. Complete with water pump. So not a weapon, huh?" The young man was reminded that he was not making weapons.

The Elves looked small nodding. Quite impressed with the equipment Aksa has shown so far.

"And that was the Carpentry Set." Aksa.

"The equipment was intended to open land and build a place to live" he continued explaining the theme of the equipment he had just introduced.

"Then we'll move on to the Heavy Equipment Set" he continued, walking behind the desk.

Which was then followed by the Elves with curiosity and quite enthusiasm.

"The first one." Aksa. "The richly shaped foot part of this abal-abal Devestator is a Forklift," he continued while walking closer to objects that are shaped like an Iron Train but are smaller and have like an iron fork in the muzzle.

"This tool serves to lift and carry heavy goods or materials. I'll show you how it works."

Aksa and Rafa enter an object called the Forklift.

Rafa is in charge of turning it on, while Aksa is in charge of driving it.

And then a shout of admiration began to be heard when the Forklift began to move, and with a fork in the muzzle that can go up and down, lifting a pile of wooden beams that have been prepared at the end of the area.

"But it looks like it's going to be hard to control that thing." Symmre, the head of the Rhafie Clan was feeling a little worried.

"Yes, Miss Symmre. It does require special training to be able to control the tool well." Nata who was standing next to the female Elf replied.

"But not too difficult to learn. As long as we understand how it works, then what is needed after that is just getting used to it," continued Nata again trying to eliminate the fears of the Rhafie clan leader.

And it looks as though Symmre is just a small nod in response.

After that Aksa continued the introduction of his other equipment.

"Then the one next to it, which is the most sci-fi item in this fantasy environment is the Anti-Gravity Platform," said the young man while pointing to a metal-framed wooden board the size of a horse carriage with four support legs shaped like a semicircle at the bottom.

There is also a tool in one corner, which is shaped like a board with a buffer in the middle.

Rafa is seen riding the wooden board when Aksa is introducing him.

Then the Seithr girl entered the Flow of Soul into a tool in one of the corners, and slowly the wooden board began to float up.

"For now we still use as a substitute for scaffolding when building. But it does not rule out the possibility of being made into elevators, and other floating objects." Aksa again gave an explanation.

"Like the item from Set that follows," the young man continued, pointing to another object next to the floating wooden board earlier.

"Drone surveillance camera security." Aksa picked up an object similar to his drone.

It's just that this one is much smaller and has no propellers on its wings. Also in a milky white color so as not to be realized when floating in space.

"What's superfilen?" ask the leader of the Shuuran clan who does not understand Aksa's words.

"Air-based monitoring tool." Aksa tried to explain.

"Watchers? How do we know what that thing is monitoring?" The leader of the Shuuran Clan asked again.

"Smart question." Aksa snapped her finger and pointed towards the Elf leader excitedly.

"Therefore, prepare all of you with the most revolutionary discovery of this one messenger of the gods," he continued with a slightly dramatized speech.

"Ta-da! Magic LED!" said the young man, pointing to a black glass board next to him again.

Which has a height of half the body of an adult man and a width of 1 range of adult men's hands. It appears to be leaning against a support leg made of metal.

"Yes-yes you must be very surprised to the point of being speechless" Aksa said later after not getting any reaction from the Elves.

"That's because they don't know what a stupid LED is" Nata later said.

"You don't know what LED is?" Aksa asked while shaking her head looking disappointed.

"Alright then I will show you so that you who do not have an understanding of the theory behind it can still understand what its function is," continued the young man later.

"Try on, miss Rafa," he continued with an order to Rafa who had now descended from the top of the floating board earlier.

It looks like Rafa put his Soul Stream on a small bulge on the bottom left of the glass board frame.

And slowly the strange board with so many pieces of patterned glass began to shine.

All the Elves present were made dumbfounded upon seeing it. Because of the dozens of lights now show a view as if the glass board is a window glass.

"What magic is this? How does the job work?" Galvatr who looks most interested and most enthusiastic than other Elves.

"Can you explain how it worked for us after this?" Tama, the clan leader of Vaelum, this time asked.

"Yes, of course. But to know how it works you must first learn about the types of signals. Such as AM, Licinene, Chrominant, and many more." Aksa answered with an explanation that no one else could understand.

"What exactly is meant by that signal?" Xorzio asked Yvvone who was standing next to him.
