Shortly thereafter the Altair team arrived under the fort walls. Far north of the gate.
"Three people will stay, while the rest will go inside." The team leader gives direction.
"Within? Jumping over the fort walls might be more precise." The Morra man who was holding the Communication Radio was trying to joke around to reduce the tension.
"You stay, Vey. Tom, and Galat, too" said the team leader mentioning anyone living outside the fort.
"Ready, chairman." replied the man who carried the Communication Radio, called Vey, along with 2 other members.
"And since we don't have Radio to communicate in there, then we'll use the beacon as a sign that something unwanted is happening" the team leader said. "Something asked?" close it with questions.
"Obviously, Chief." The nine team members replied simultaneously, though it did not sound loud.
"Alright, let's jump over the wall" the team leader said later.
And along with that, the three people who stayed immediately looked for a safe and strategic place to guard and protect his climbing partner.
.
The fort is a fortress of Urbar kingdom that was built decades ago to guard against the attack of the Kingdom of Augra from the south. So that on the north side, the walls of the fortress were not built too strong and only three times the height of an adult man.
It was seen that four elite soldiers who had the task of climbing the fort walls seemed to stand close to each other docked towards the wall.
Then one man is seen riding on the shoulders of one of the four soldiers, with three other soldiers holding his body back from falling. It was like they were forming a small tower with three legs.
Then one more man knelt one foot in front of the small tower, while holding his hands together to make a footing.
And as soon as the kneeling man nodded his head, indicating that he was ready, the seventh man of the company put his foot in the hand of his companion, and prepared to jump.
Aided by an upward thrust from his kneeling companion earlier, the man jumped quite high. Coupled with a foothold on the shoulder of the soldier above the other soldier's shoulder, the man was finally able to shake his hand at the top of the fort walls. And all of that in just seconds.
Then slowly and very carefully, the man raised his body upwards, trying to peer over the castle walls.
And once believed to be safe, the man actually climbed up, then stretched out a rope for his other partner to come up.
Not less than a minute, all seven members of the Altair team were already on top of the fortress wall, and were still unconscious by the other party.
-
The seven of them looked alert as they walked along the top of the fort walls, to find a way down.
Seen at the southern end of the fort walls, one member of Team Vega who entered through the hills was already in a guard position watching the surrounding area. The rest of Team Vega's remaining members were already inside the fortress, beginning their task of incapacitating the soldiers.
Looking at Team Altair above the northern wall, the soldier from Team Vega who was on guard immediately signaled them with a hand gesture. Which hints that the area is safe, and they can continue the assault.
Then still using hand gestures, the dreamer of Team Altair gave orders to his members to return to running.
They moved in formation guarding each other, down the room within the old fortress. Nimble and effective they paralyzed one soldier after another and the magicians they found with shots from a medium-sized rifle, which was also powered by air pressure.
.
And then, the two teams met as they were about to head towards the quarry behind the fort.
"You guys arrived?" asked a Morra man with a face filled with soot to help him shine with darkness while down the southern hills.
"How's he doing, Has?" ask the leader of the Altair Team without further ado.
"It seems like most of the guards and witches are resting in their barracks at the back of this fortress," replied the man with a face full of soot called Has later.
"Then my team will take care of the north side." The leader of the Altair Team took the choice without wasting any time.
"Well then, come on, all," the leader of Team Vega ordered then to his members.
.
It didn't take long, and even without the climax scene, or the dramatic resistance, the entire army and the castle's guardian magicians were successfully summed up entirely. Some who surrendered became prisoners with the miners, and were locked up in barracks. While the rest are less fortunate, only the body remains.

"What now is your way of judging something already like Mr Nata? We just faced 50 guard soldiers and 25 combat witches. That's not what's hiding yet. You think that's that much, a little bit?" no response from another colleague. The one who was seen cleaning his knife from the blood spots.
"But still it is still quite a bit when looking at the position of this place in the middle of the border." Morra's man still defended his opinion.
"I don't think they'll think Vistralle would dare to attack this region" said Don, a member of Team Altair, who was seen holding his protective vest.
"Yes, it's possible..." And their conversation was interrupted by the sound of an explosion from the western direction of the fortress.
And like a subconscious movement, the soldiers had already sped up to check on him. Even before they could think what that sound was.
.
There was only a sizable hole in the western kitchen wall of the fort, when the soldiers arrived.
"It looks like someone managed to escape" said Team Altair leader gave his conjecture.
"Team Deneb will take care of it," a short reply from Team Vega's leader without seeming worried in the least.
"Alright then, let's open the north gate," ordered the leader of the Altair Team who was not worried at all.
-
While on the path leading to the Augra region, 4 guard soldiers and 2 magicians were running frantically as they could, escaping from the fortress.
"It looks like there are some guards running away" said a soldier staring at his long-barreled rifle binoculars on the sidelines of a cliff.
"Remove," orders from the soldier in the uniform of the team leader who was next to the man, who was seen preparing his rifle.
"good. Let's see how accurate this weapon is on the real battlefield" Morra said with a long-barreled rifle before taking aim.
While the team leader was putting up his binoculars, the fellow next to him had already fired a shot.
The sound of the wind roared between the hills and valleys around the place. And one guard lay lifeless.
"I don't think the extra legs at the end of the barrel are very helpful to dampen the shock when the bullet is shot." The soldier with a long barrel look slightly amazed.
"Well, unfortunately now they've made protective magic" said the team leader with slight disappointment as he was just preparing to take aim.
"It looks like it's Abe's part..." Not yet finished the soldier with a long barrel said, the sound of the wind again sounded. This time from the north.
And the witch who had cast protective magic, had now fallen lifeless. His head was pierced by a bullet from the side, in a part that was not protected by magic.
Then following the reverberation of another wind, and the rest of the people who were fleeing began to fall just lying in the middle of the road leading to the Augra region.
The gunfire came from another member of Team Deneb, who was holed up spreading out on the sidelines of a cliff around the road, to stage an ambush.
-
"Tim Deneb reporting. All the soldiers who escaped have been successfully neutralized. Replace." There were reports of a listening device worn by Vey, the Altair Team Link, as he was preparing to enter the fort once the gate had been opened.
"I don't think everything went smoothly according to plan. I didn't even have time to use magic at all" Vey later told his partner Tom who was walking beside him.
"Either because they are lower-class soldiers, or the 6 months of training we went through was too harsh," another colleague heard interjecting from behind.
"Whatever it is, I'm grateful for it." This time Tom responded.
"That's right," Vey replied nodding in agreement. "Oh, there they come," he added later as he watched dozens of Yllgarian Owls slide down from behind the clouds.

Later the Elite Army will get many nicknames, such as Silent Soldiers, Shadow Troops, even Death Bearers, by other kingdoms. And they are the ones who will make the opponents of the Rhodes Kingdom continue to feel worried and wary. And will think again when you want to make an attack.
