19. Refugee Shelter

The next morning Nata and Lily with the Hunter Trio head to a refugee shelter in the Northeast of Ignus region with several Iron Trains carrying equipment and necessities for their journey later.

Lucia did not take her because today she had to travel to the border region of Joren to get things done with Caspian.

It only took 2 hours from the Central Region for them to arrive at the refugee settlement. It was built not far from the dock where the Iron Ship was to be used by Nata's entourage to sail North.

"True Lucia said. This place is like a new city" said Nata while descending from his Iron Train.

Nata's entourage stopped his Iron Train right in front of a wooden gate as big as the Combat Train which was in an open position.

On the left and right side of the gate stretches an elongated iron fence barely visible to the end.

From that place, the goods and equipment carried by Nata will be moved by special trolleys to be directly transported to the dock as in Port City on the west coast.

"From what I've heard there are almost 200 people living in this place" Louzje said of the Iron Train behind him.

"Do you think they'll settle in this place?" sahut Deuxter from behind Loujze.

"Of course." Loujze replied in passing. "But I feel sorry for them. Although their existence is quite a burden for this Kingdom," he added later while starting to help Huebert dismantle their luggage.

"You speak now like a member of Parliament and a Cendicia, Lu" Huebert said, shaking his head.

"Yes, even so we're still lucky. Could be in a position to help, and not be helped." Nata added to.

"Yes, we are all grateful to have you and lord Aksa in this region," Loujze replied with a slight laugh.

Shortly afterwards a woman came to Nata's entourage in front of the gate.

The woman was Versica.

"Have you arrived yet?" ask the woman without greeting.

"Oh, good morning Miss Versica." Nata answered with a greeting.

"Now it's noon enough for us here, Mr. Nata," Versica replied as he looked at the circular alroji on his left wrist, which had been shown at 10 a.m.

"Oh, right. I'm sorry, I don't think I've fully woken up from my short sleep on the trip, yet" Nata replied with a jest.

"That means you have to immediately prepare air transportation services for this entire region so that you do not feel bored to fall asleep on the trip again, Mr. Nata," replied Versica also with a joke.

"Well, now your way of thinking is like a child, Miss Versica," Loujze said in response to Versica's reply. And everyone laughed too.

"This place can no longer be called a refugee shelter anymore" Nata said as she walked deeper into the shelter with Lily and Versica.

While the Hunter Trio escorted the transportation of goods directly to the dock.

"really. In just 2 months all this happened." Versica responded to Nata's words with a slightly resigned face.

"Does this shelter make your job of building a border area so disrupted?" tanya Nata suspected a slightly uncomfortable attitude from Versica.

"Well, I assume all this is part of the difficulty of opening up new land" Versica replied back in her postal tone.

"If everyone in this shelter were self-knowing and grateful people, maybe I'd be a different person," continued the woman then who seemed no longer strong to hold back.

"What do you mean the nobles of the north?" Nata asked back.

"really. They're still like. So very... Column." Versica looks a little scuffed.

"Oh, that? So we're here people with current thoughts?" Nata asked with a slight laugh.

"Clearly," Reply Versica quickly. "But on the bright side, we workers here don't get too lonely. Because even so there are still some good people who understand and want to take the initiative to help." Versica laughed a little awkwardly. Unexpectedly he was really happy or just a mere circus.

"Then what about the people you used to hire. The one from Hagar's village. Are they still holding up?" Nata changed the subject of the conversation.

"From what I hear Mr Aksa, Primaval, and Miss Rafa are still in the Azuar Forest?" This time Versica started a new topic.

"really. They're doing something there" replied Nata.

"So you're just with Miss Lily going north?"

"Together the Hunter Trio as well."

"Oh, right. They are from the Estrinx region. So it's quite promising to take them as a guide." Versica nodded small.

"And also with Mr. Axel, Mr. Sigurd, and Miss Ende," added Nata again.

"Yes, they are indeed in charge of the Iron Ship that will sail it." Versica nodded in understanding. "Good, that way your safety is absolutely guaranteed now" he continued with a smile.

"Yes, sure enough," Nata replied as well with a fluffy smile.

The three of them continued walking to several areas in the shelter for almost half an hour. With Versica who occasionally explained something that was found around them and acted like a guide.

Soon they encountered Orland as he passed a fairly large tent not far from the pier.

"Congratulations..lunch?" Nata greeted Orland and the few people who were with him.

"Oh, Mr. Nata, Miss Lily, and Miss Versica." Orland looked a little surprised.

And then a nod between Nata and some of the people who were with Orland.

"Did you introduce this Lord Hericus of the Ghaltian family and lord Daniel of the noble Voryn family." Orland immediately introduced Nata to the men.

"He was the younger brother of Her Majesty Queen Deisy" Orland added, referring to Hericus.

"I can finally meet you, Mr. Nata, Miss Lily" said Hericus, who shook Nata's hand abruptly. Looks a little aggressive and pretentious.

The hand of the Narva man with reddish yellow hair that was neatly combed back was greasy, which made Nata feel a little uncomfortable.

"It's nice to meet you both in person." This time it was Daniel who said.

The Narva man with a stern face, and the hair longer than Hericus behaved more politely. With a small bow to Lily.

"We are very grateful for all the help that has been given to us" the man continued.

"I didn't do anything, gentlemen. So no need to hesitate," replied Nata with pleasantries.

And they all seem to be laughing.

"You just went around? It's only right for me to see the Hunter Trio at the dock there" Oraland said later.

"Yes, Mr. Orland. Miss Versica kindly escorted me around this place," replied Nata.

"Yes, this shelter just keeps growing." Orland.

"True, this place is like a city now" said Hericus chimed in on the conversation.

"Did you not feel the need to build more decent facilities like those in other cities in the region?" continued the Narva man with a suggestion.

Seen Versica roll eyes throw away the view with a facial expression like he wants to vomit.

Nata began to understand Versica's intentions about selfless and ungrateful people earlier.

"Yes, I think you're right Mr. Hericus," Nata replied in pleasantries. "I will try to ask Her Majesty the Queen directly to consider about it."

"Ah, there's no need to rush Mr. Nata either. We here know that this region also has its own problems" retorted Hericus who took Nata's remarks seriously.
