The wedding party that took place in two different places was lively. For the core event, there are only a few dozen invited guests who are allowed to witness firsthand the wedding procession as well as the pronunciation of the sacred promise of the bride and groom in the house.

But after the sacred procession was over, the party moved to the largest magnificent building in the city center. There, there were already hundreds of invited guests who had attended. They are happy to welcome the arrival of lovers who have just officially become a married couple.

As Valerie and Brian were relaxing after losing a dance, a familiar guest came over to them.

"Congratulations on your marriage. I'm happy, too" said Noah. The man hugged Brian, rubbing the back of his best friend and friend.

"Hi, V. Congratulations on your happy day" said Noah. He grabs Valerie's hand, desiring to give the woman a hug one last time. But after a short thought, Noah undoes his intentions. He just shakes hands to give a speech.

There was a happy feeling of sadness and disappointment in Noah's heart. But now all that no longer means, Valerie has become someone else's, and she has to let it go.

"I'm sorry, Noah," said Valerie.

"Hmm, I should have apologized to you, Noah. Sorry for being ..." said Brian.

"No, no. Don't pity me like this. It's your happy day, don't think about me" Noah said before Brian finished.

"Brian, I believe you're the best. Don't ever let me down" Noah said with a smile.

Brian hugs Noah, acknowledging the prowess of his best friend. With a tough and big heart, Noah still put their friendship before his personal feelings. Brian felt that he wouldn't be able to if they just switched positions.

Brian takes Noah around, introducing his best friend to a business associate who is there. While Valerie, she chatted with some acquaintances who accidentally knew her as a reliable gymnastics instructor a few months ago.

"Thank you for coming" Valerie said.

"The fancy party. Congratulations on your marriage, V."

"Thank you, Elena. How's it going? Grandpa's worried about you."

"I need some alone time, I need some time to calm down. I also have to visit my parents often so they don't worry about me."

"Are they okay?" ask Valerie.

"They're in good health."

"Thank God." Valerie smiled, rubbing Elena's shoulders. "Come to the office, you can work with me. You know, Grandpa won't give you money for free" he continued .

Elena laughed a little. Valerie must have known that all this time she just spent her time having fun and spending money on her parents. Elena never even once did a meaningful job. His life was just full of debauchery and foya-foya.

But now the world seems inversely proportional. Elena no longer had a money-making machine. He should have started to change his life.

"Alright, I'll come to the office later," Elena replied.

From a distance, Theo noticed his two grandchildren who were seen chatting familiarly. The old man was very happy. She has a tough, strong and broad-hearted granddaughter like Valerie, and has a patient and sincere Elena who accepts her fate.
