AHEAD OF RESCUE

Like being struck by lightning, the news that Adam had just delivered made both knees Tiffani limp. Her slender body was shaky, and she almost fell down if Mona did not hold her body in time.

Tiffani's pale face is enough to know that Tiffani is not doing well at the moment. With trembling hands Tiffani grabs the cell phone and bluetooth headset from Adam's hands, blood spots on the surface of the headset, believed to be Rama's blood, make Tiffani's body shudder. Suddenly his stomach churned, and his head became very sick. He began to guess as badly as what wounds Rama had, and the blood in the headset was from which part of Rama's body. Imagining it all made Tiffani feel nauseous and about to faint.

"How about this, Mon, he's gone. My husband is gone" said Tiffani, who began sobbing until his body trembled.

Mona rubbed Tiffani's arm, then she turned to look at her husband Adam. "We have to tell Xavier all this" he said. "We must find Rama's whereabouts as quickly as possible."

"That was also what I thought. I'm going to see Xavier, is he there?" ask Adam to Mona.

"Yes, he's in the backyard. A while ago I saw him shooting practice."

Upon hearing Mona's reply, Adam immediately ran as fast as he could towards the backyard, while Tiffani was busy glaring at Rei and the other bodyguards.

"If you obey my request to follow Rama as soon as you arrive at the office, none of this will happen. Rama would still be here right now if you helped him in time. You guys are so mean, I .. I fired you all. Be lost. Get out of front of me!" shouting Tiffani.

All the bodyguards that were in front of Tiffani gasped, they looked so panicked and felt guilty. Not with Mona. Mona knew that what Tiffani said was only due to momentary emotions. Where maybe Tiffani sacked all the bodyguards in the first team, most of the first team members were bodyguards involved in his rescue mission several years ago when he was held captive on an island called Love Island.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, forgive us. We will take part in the mission to save Rama, it is our last mission, and after that we will leave at your command" said Rei, who was greeted with a nod by the rest of the team.

Tiffani stared at all the bodyguards with a pushy look, then she shouted, "As far as you guys are!"

After being satisfied to vent his anger, Tiffani immediately turned around and left Rei as well as the other bodyguards.

Mona gazes at the departure of Tiffani who has now disappeared at the turn that leads to the terrace. Before she caught up with Tiffani, Mona told Rei and all the bodyguards. "Don't take it seriously. Tiffani can't fire you all. He's just in a state of turmoil right now. Go get some rest, I'm sure you need some energy before Rama's rescue mission starts."

Dor's! Dor's!

Adam covered his ears with both hands as he arrived in the backyard. He immediately complained as soon as he saw Xavier who was engrossed in making a scene with a firearm.

"Hi, dear Lord Xavier, can you have a minute, huh?" adam shouted, as Xavier was resting to replenish his bullets.

Hearing Adam's cry, Xavier looked back. He then immediately removed the earplugs and placed the glock on a nearby table, where he put his cellphone jacket, and his bluetooth headset as well.

"Hi, Fatty, what's wrong?" Xavier shouted back.

Adam approached Xavier grumbling as he heard Xavier's scream, which again fattened him.

"The body shaming man can be imprisoned" said Adam, as soon as he had arrived before Xavier.

Xavier laughs. "So, you want to put me in jail?"

"Not now, but I'll do it sometime" said Adam with annoyance, after which he continued. "There's something important I have to tell you."

Xavier punched Adam in the stomach, then asked, "What? What important things do you want to say to me?"

"Xavier, Rama was kidnapped, and we have to rescue him immediately" Adam said.

Hearing what Adam had just said made Xavier's face stiffen. His forehead frowned, his lips tightly clenched, and his two eyes narrowed. However, that expression only lasted for a while, not even two minutes, as the next minute Xavier instead burst into laughter.

"Why are you laughing, huh?" ask Adam. "Is there anything funny?"

Xavier did not immediately reply, he rubbed the corner of his watery eyes first before responding to Adam's question.

"You kidding? Rama was kidnapped is the most impossible news to hear. He's a hotshot, who can paralyze him and just take him away. Don't make weightless jokes, Adam, and just go, you interrupt my training" Xavier said, kicking Adam's shins.

Adam grimaced, then returned a kick from Xavier. "You don't believe it? Just ask Tiffani if you don't believe me."

Xavier rubbed his shins in pain from Adam's kick, and as he wanted to retaliate, a woman's voice stopped him.

"Xavier! Vier help me, please help me."

Tiffani arrives before Xavier with a face soaked in tears. Both of Tiffani's eyes look red and swollen, as well as her nose that is as red as a tomato.

"What's up, Tiffani?"ask Xavier, who now looks more serious than before.

"This. Look at this." Tiffani hands Rama's bluetooth headset and cell phone to Xavier. "All this belongs to Rama, and this blood. He's gone, Vier. He's gone."

Xavier looked at Adam and Tiffani alternately, then he observed the two objects in his hand. He could not believe that Rama had disappeared, as it was highly unlikely. He still hopes that Adam only makes jokes. However, seeing Tiffani's cry was impossible if all she heard was a joke.

"Do you believe me now?" adam asked, glaring at Xavier.

Xavier did not answer. He was still busy looking at the headset and the phone in his hand.

"Tell me in more detail" Xavier asked Adam and Tiffani.

Tiffani nodded, then wiped her tears. "There was someone who shot me in the room this morning. The window shatters, but fortunately Rama and I were not hit by the bullet."

"Shoot your room? They're shooting from the outside?" Xavier asked.

Tiffani nodded. "Rama told me that the shooter must have been a sniper, and Rama guessed that the sniper was watching us from the printing house near my office building."

"Then .. go on, Tiffani." Xavier urged, as Tiffani stopped explaining and instead cried.

"Rama asked Rei and the others to come to protect me, while she herself went to the printing house to look for the shooter. And, when the team catches up with Rama, that's all that's left." Tiffani looked at Rama's cell phone and headset.

After hearing Tiffani's explanation, Xavier immediately put his jacket back on, pocketed his cell phone, and put a headset in his ear, then he said to Adam, "Begging the team to gather at headquarters. Get the guns ready, and I need someone to tap all the cctv footage in that printing house, even cctv cameras on the streets, too. Also check all our captives overnight in the warehouse, if there is one of them communicating with someone else outside the warehouse, maybe they have something they can make a communication tool, he said, some kind of morse code or something."

"I did!" adam exclaimed, then immediately ran towards the headquarters in the front yard to gather the first team and their weapons, as well as,

Xavier then stared fixedly at Tiffani. "Rest me, I'll have Gracella accompany you. Don't do anything without notifying me or without my orders. Just stay here, let me find Rama and solve all this mess."

Tiffani nodded. "Please save him."

"Surely, Tiffani, definitely."
