Ara was shocked to hear what the taxi driver had just said. He often heard the term mafia, and that term is not a good term to be pinned on a person or group of people.
The Mafia in Ara's mind is a group of criminals who like to torture and oppress weak people so that the purpose of the mafia is achieved. Even for Ara, the mafia is the same as a psychopath.
Ara shuddered to imagine that the people she helped yesterday were a bunch of psychopaths.
"It's only right that all those people have guns and deal with the gang of criminals who own the warehouse" murmured Ara, who felt remorse for saving the gang of criminals.
"But those who attack them are also criminals. So, villain versus criminal, it makes no difference, the important thing is that this criminal I helped was willing to help me. It's even better if I can be friends with these villains" Ara muttered again.
The driver who had been watching Ara who was busy babbling alone patted Ara on the shoulder and asked if Ara had gone to the mafia address.
Ara nodded. "Yes, so. Come on, let's go." Ara then throws her bag into the taxi, and then she enters the taxi.
On the way, Ara who did have high curiosity and talk a lot asked the driver who was driving while humming slowly.
"Are the people who live at this address the evil mafia?" ask Ara.
The driver nodded. "Yes, I heard, anyway, so. But gossip is not always true. The big master there used to love helping the hard people. But, now that he's dead, there's only one son and daughter-in-law left."
"So, this son and daughter-in-law are all evil?" ask Ara again.
The driver nodded. "No. They were all good, just like the old great master. Raendra's family is famous for doing charity events, donating a lot of money to orphanages and nursing homes."
Ara scratched her head. He was confused why such good people even got the nickname mafia. Impressed contrary to the nickname embedded.
"If they are all notoriously good-natured and sharing, why are they called mafia? Aren't the mafia the bad guys who like to intimidate others and also kill innocent people?" Ara asked back. He was not satisfied with the driver's explanation.
The driver laughed at Ara's question.
"Yes, they are good, and never intimidate people, but their jobs are all very dangerous. Mr. Richard's daughter always left escorted by many armed bodyguards, their mere appearance in the midst of society capable of making others feel intimidated indirectly. And you don't know, if they were doing massive drug trafficking and also illegal firearms, even explosives as well. It is not against the law and harms many. That's why they're called mafia."
Ara covered her mouth with both hands while widening. He was horrified to imagine that the handsome men he helped yesterday were men working for someone who ruined much of the future.
"What about the police? Didn't the police arrest them all? They're all obviously breaking the law."
The driver laughed again, this time even louder than before.
"No police can stop them. It's been searching for a secret."
After hearing the explanation from the driver, Ara stopped asking. He was afraid that if he heard more, he would be busy speculating and compartmentalizing people based on good and evil. If that happens, he may forget his main mission.
After traveling for almost twenty minutes, Ara finally arrived at her destination. He immediately paid and thanked her, and then got out of the taxi with his trembling legs.
"May you be well" said the taxi driver, then left in front of Ara.
Ara did not respond to the driver's words, because now he was busy looking at the magnificent building in front of him. The large building surrounded by a concrete fence is the only building in the neighborhood.
"It's a house or a building" said Ara.
Not to mention he stepped towards the entrance gate that was so tall and looked sturdy, he felt his phone vibrate. Ara immediately grabbed her phone in her jacket pocket and saw a message coming from Rama.
[I know you're ahead. Come inside. ]
Ara was startled, she immediately looked up and explored every point around her with her two eyes to search for Rama's whereabouts.
"Unbelievably, he even knew I had arrived. Am I being spied on right now" murmured Ara.
Ara straightened her body and stepped hurriedly towards the tightly shut gate.
The two armed guards standing on the outside of the gate instantly opened the gate for Ara, as if Ara's arrival had been announced earlier. Ara didn't even get any questions, and the items she was carrying were not searched at all.
"Come in, there will be guards inside who will take you to meet your master and mistress" said the front gatekeeper who has a sturdy body with muscles poking like a world-class boxer.
"Mr and mrs? I don't want to see the master and mistress of this house. I just want to see their men yesterday, who ...." Ara did not finish her words, as she realized that the guard was no longer focused on her.
Ara let out a long sigh, and directly stepped through the open gate. And sure enough, a guard standing guard on the inside of the gate immediately approached Ara.
"Welcome. Let's follow me," said the guard.
Ara nodded, and followed the footsteps of the guard who was stepping quickly in front of her. They traverse the grassy lawns are cool and beautiful, because almost in every corner of the page there is a large tabebuya tree that on each branch is filled with colorful petals, beautiful.
Ara clucked in awe as she crossed a building that looked like an army headquarters on the right side of the courtyard, and then amidst the vast grounds stood a towering three-story building, white with large windows left open.
"This is, after all, a palace, not a house" said Ara.
Upon arriving at the terrace, the guard who had been escorting him immediately turned around and left, then a butler approached Ara.
"Welcome. Follow me, miss," said the waiter in a friendly voice.
Ara nodded and again followed the steps of a stranger towards the inside of the house that was so spacious and luxurious. Ara even had to take pains to control her awe, otherwise, maybe now she would run around here and there to touch all the awesome things that were there.
Not long after that Ara arrived at the living room whose size was no less spacious than the main room. In the middle of the room there is a large sofa made of soft velvet and looks comfortable to sit on. On the sofa was also Ara saw an extraordinarily beautiful woman sitting while reading a magazine. The woman is Tiffani, Tiffani Raendra who is famous for her beauty.
"Madam, the guest has arrived" said the waiter.
"Hi" Tiffani greeted kindly. The friendly smile that was so sweet on Tiffani's face made Ara's tension disappear.
Ara no longer felt as frightened as before huh, she reflexively bowed to pay her respects. Tiffani's charm that looks like a queen makes Ara reflex to do just that.
"Good day, ma'am, I'm Ara" Ara said in a voice that was lurking. "I'm sorry for interrupting your good day."
Tiffani laughs. "Don't do that. Just relax. You are my guest, let's talk casually" said Tiffani, then continued, "Come, and sit down."
Ara nodded and immediately approached the sofa. Once in front of Tiffani, Ara bent her knees and placed her butt on a thick carpet made in Turkey, the carpet was placed under the sofa.
”What are you doing? Sit on top, not down!" tiffani. He was surprised because Ara acted like a babu, but if it were not for the woman he might lose Rama forever.
"But, I don't deserve-"
"Not worth what exactly? Sit on top, no one in my house sits down, not even the waiter will sit on the couch while talking to me." Tiffani cut Ara's words.
Ara immediately got up to her feet and sat down on the sofa as Tiffani ordered.
"Well, so much better" Tiffani said with a smile.
Ara smiled, it was hard not to catch Tiffani's smile.
"I'm sorry for my arrival, Madam, actually I came here not to bother you. Actually I'd like to meet someone who works for you. He's the guy who was tied up in the barn yesterday. He is very handsome, and also a fighting man, with whom I want to meet," said Ara, explaining the purpose of his arrival to Tiffani so that Tiffani does not consider him an uninvited guest.
Tiffani crossed her arms in front of her chest, then she said, "It just so happens that the handsome, fighting guy you say is my husband. He's Rama, my husband."
Both of Ara's round eyes instantly glared. "He's your husband?" he asked, with a red face extinguished because he was embarrassed half to death.
"Yes, he's my husband." Tiffani answered briefly with a smile, so that Ara would not feel awkward towards her.
Ara immediately got up to her feet and then knelt before Tiffani. He felt very guilty for having dared to be presumptuous to Rama who turned out to be a great master.
"I'm sorry. I had no idea, really, Madam," said Ara, then continued, "I'll just go home then. I'm sorry, again I beg you to forgive me. Let's just say I never came here, forget it all. Excuse me, ma'am," said Ara, who was preparing to leave the room.
However, not to mention that Ara's intention to go from there was accomplished, Rama suddenly appeared on the doorway that separated between the hallway and the family room. Xavier and Gracella are also seen entering the room, both of whom are right behind Rama.
"You have come" said Rama, as soon as he saw Ara.
Ara took a sip of his saliva and then he said with great difficulty, "I was just about to leave, forgive me this sassy, goodbye," he said, then stepped past Rama while bowing.
Xavier blocked Ara's half-run towards the passageway. "Tell me what you mean, after that you can go."
Ara looked up to be able to look at Xavier's face. "Are you a guard here?" tanyakanya.
Xavier. "No, I'm the daughter-in-law in this house. Me and Rama's brother-in-law."
Both of Ara's knees became limp. He thought he was only dealing with an ordinary bodyguard, but instead he was dealing with a big mafia lord. Two at once.
Tiffani laughed seeing Ara who was now busy beating her forehead while babbling indistinctly.
"Take him here and ask him to sit back" Tiffani asked Gracella.
Gracella nodded and touched Ara's arm, making Ara flinch.
"Come on," Gracella asked.
Ara nodded and immediately returned to the sofa, then sat on the sofa with a body as stiff as a statue.
"Well, now tell us, what made you come all the way here?" asked Rama, who had now sat beside Tiffani and wrapped his sturdy arm around the waist of the slender Tiffani.
Ara stared at Rama, Xavier, Tiffani, and Gracella in turn. His tongue was suddenly twisted and at the same time he lost confidence. The four humans sitting before him were so beautiful, that he felt so ugly right now.
"Tell me. I will do whatever you ask, you have saved my husband" Tiffani said in a soft voice.
Ara who had been silent since then finally started talking.
"Actually I wanted to ask you guys for help, I just thought that only city people could fight against the city people, which is why I immediately asked for your address at the warehouse yesterday. I didn't expect you to be a conglomerate at all" said Ara.
"We're not a conglomerate. We are just ordinary people, just like you," Tiffani said. "What kind of help do you want? "
Ara looked at Tiffani for a moment, then she said, "Can you help me so that I can meet a rich businessman who will build a hotel in EL 33 district. It was a district far from the city center and was a coastal tourist area."
Gracella flinched, she looked at Tiffani who stared back at her, while Rama and Xavier were still confused.
"EL 33 District. Why do you want to meet the businessman who will build a hotel there?" ask Gracella.
"The land there .. that the hotel will build on it is not empty land. There is a school there, and the houses of the citizens as well. Then on the other side there is a playground as well. Because the rich businessman now all the citizens there so frightened. My father and mother lived there, and a week ago they were forced out of their home. If I can't meet with that businessman, I won't be able to stop his intention to damage all the citizens' homes and schools."
Tiffani touched her chest which instantly became tight. He knew very well that District EL 33 was the location where his hotel would be built.
"Om Damar, " murmured Tiffani.
Seriate.
