My Sexy Bodyguard's
THERE'S NO NEXT TIME!

Gracella stood confidently in front of the door of Richard Raendra's study. He was happy, because finally the day he had been waiting for arrived. The day Richard would admit wrongdoing and tell the details of his father's death.

Geck, tok, tok!

Gracella knocked, and waited for Richard's voice to ask him to come in. He still had a little adab that made him not just barge into Richard's den.

Chequek!

The door of the study room in front of him opened, and he immediately faced Damar.

"Come in, you have been waiting for you since," Damar said, leaving, giving way so that Gracella could enter the room.

Without saying a word Gracella passed Damar and continued to step arrogantly until she arrived before Richard who was sitting on an armchair behind the desk.

"I've arrived" said Gracella, as usual the tone of the girl's speech was cranky and unfriendly.

Richard smiled at Gracella and immediately waved, asking Gracella to sit down in front of him.

"Just go ahead, I don't want to linger." Gracella is back with a ketus.

"I wonder, have you never been taught manners, Grace? Is this how you talk to older people?" ask Richard.

Gracella raised her eyebrows next to her. "Don't doubt my mother's upbringing. My mother educated me well. However, I only use my manners on the right and proper people."

Richard laughing. "Yes, I know that, and soon you'll be using your manners on me, like it or not."

Gracella leaned her body against the back of the chair while folding her hands in front of her chest. His sharp gaze looked disdainful to Richard. "We'll see if I'll use my manners on you or not."

Richard cleared his throat. "Alright, now listen to me carefully."

***

Tiffani and Rama run across the back yard towards the main building which is seen towering in the distance. Rama repeatedly yells at Tiffani so that Tiffani does not need to run, but Tiffani does not heed Rama's request, because for him every second is precious. He didn't want to miss even a piece of the conversation between Gracella and her father.

"Tiffani, just slow down. I'm afraid something's happened to you and your baby." Rama exclaimed, while pulling Tiffani's wrist.

Tiffani stopped the move. Still gasping for air he touched his stomach. "I forgot" said Tiffani.

Rama looked at Tiffani with a look of disbelief. "Well, you might forget."

Tiffani continued, saying, "Some days I don't feel nausea, dizziness, and even morning sickness is not, maybe that's why I forgot I was pregnant."

Rama became worried about hearing Tiffani's words. "Tomorrow I'll take you to see Doctor Stella. You should check your pregnancy. There might be something wrong if all the signs of pregnancy suddenly disappear suddenly."

Tiffani. "No need, I'm fine."

"I forced," said Rama, he squeezed Tiffani's wrist, and then moved his hand into Tiffani's palm.

Tiffani. He was happy to finally feel Rama's attention again. He was also pleased to feel the warmth of Rama's hand in his hand.

"alright. I can't do anything if you force."

Rama smiled as he rubbed the top of Tiffani's head with one hand, then both of them quickened their steps until they arrived at the terrace.

"You're ten minutes late, Tiffani!" sela shouted as she saw Tiffani and Rama emerge from the side of the house. "And why is there Rama?"

"Rama will come along" said Tiffani, answering Sela's question, then she looked at Mona who was standing with a sullen face beside Sela. "Why is there Mona?"

"She will come" Sela replied.

Tiffani pinches Mona's nose in a fit of anxiety. "Good, I know that you'll definitely come."

Mona keeps Tiffani's hand away from her face. "I'm forced. It was very, very forced," hissed Mona, glaring with annoyance at Tiffani and Sela.

Tiffani laughs. "Forced or not, the important thing is that you come along. Come on!"

Tiffani holds Sela's hand and Mona back to the side of the house, only you have them turn to the left side which is the way to help.

Rama who tailed behind the three girls looked confused, because he still did not know what mission the three girls would run.

"Don't any of you want to explain to me about this secret mission?" ask Rama.

"You haven't told him?" sela asked Tiffani as soon as she heard Rama's question.

Tiffani. "Not yet, because everything is sudden. I don't actually remember this mission. Good thing you called."

Sela nodded, understanding the reason Tiffani had not yet explained to Rama about their mission, because in fact he had almost forgotten. Spending time with Johan makes Sela forget everything.

"You follow us, Rama, you will know what we will do." Sela went to Rama.

Rama just kept silent and went back to following the steps of the three girls before him.

After a while, Tiffani and the others arrived in front of a door that seemed never to be opened for quite a long time. The door leaf is filled with vines from the bottom to the top.

"Behind this door is a passageway that will go straight to my father's study!" tiffani said to Rama and his two friends.

"Working space. What exactly do you want to do?" asked Rama who looked more curious.

"We'll eavesdrop on Tiffani and Gracella's father's conversation." Sela answered.

"Eavesdropping? But for what? You can't eavesdrop on other people's conversations."

Mona nodded quickly. "I told Tiffani and Sela, too, but they both didn't listen to me at all."

Tiffani shook her hands, asking Mona and Rama to stop protesting. "It's up to the two of you to know what my father and Gracella were talking about" Tiffani said, then pulled a key out of his pants pocket.

Tiffani inserted the rusty key into the keyhole carefully, and ....

Click! Lock open.

Tiffani turned the door knob that was instantly open and let out a sinister creaking sound.

The dark and dusty damp room greeted Tiffani and the others.

"Crazy, I feel like we're in a haunted house right now" Sela said.

Mona clucking. "Focus, don't let our story that wants to eavesdrop instead become a horror story in here."

Sela giggles. "No, our main goal is to keep eavesdropping. But by the way, what room is this, Tiffani? Why is there a room like this next to your house?"

Hearing Tiffani's explanation, Sela hits Tiffani's arm. "Correct? I don't want to go in then!"

Tiffani laughs. "No, it's actually just a warehouse that happens to be at the end of the hallway right in the fireplace in my father's study" replied Tiffani, removing the spiderwebs hanging from the door frame. "Get out your cell phones, we need lighting" Tiffani said.

Sela and Mona immediately pulled out the phone at Tiffani's command, then they started to step into the hallway.

"Thankfully. I thought your words were serious, but it's not useless that your house has a fireplace, when our country doesn't have an extreme winter." Sela commented again.

"Indeed not, but since this house is a European-style house, the fireplace must be there, even though it is never actually used at all. There is no winter here that will make us freeze to death. So the fireplace is more function as a room decoration only," said Tiffani.

The atmosphere was then silent, Tiffani continued to lead the step until they arrived at the end of the hall which on his right side was an arch with a size large enough.

"That's the fireplace box, we're right next to my dad's office right now. If we eavesdrop from outside my father's room then it won't sound because my father's workspace is soundproof, but here is a gap that allows us to listen to whatever my father says. Never mind eavesdropping, even peeking can," whispered Tiffani to his three friends.

"You sound like you do it a lot" said Rama.

Tiffani smiled shyly. "Yes, when I was a kid I used to peek at my father's activities here."

"Hopefully you don't find your father cheating on you with one of the servants" Sela said.

Tiffani pinches Sela's waist. "My father was very loyal."

"Well, I was just kidding. Usually such scenes are always in romance dramas."

"Shuut, I heard something" Mona sighed, asking Tiffani and Sela to stop arguing.

Inside the workspace Richard ....

Richard got up and stepped towards a storage shelf located right by the fireplace. He pulled out one of the old black boxes and brought the box back to his desk.

"Open up" Richard told Gracella.

Gracella did not immediately comply with what Richard had ordered. He was silent, and just stared at Richard expressionlessly.

Looking at Gracella who had done nothing, Richard simply smiled.

"You're so stubborn, son. But, yes, already. You'll definitely open it after hearing what I'm saying" Richard said. Then he got back up and looked out the dewy window.

"My father and I are twin brothers, do you know that?"

"Don't make it up, you guys don't look alike at all." Gracella said with ketus.

Richard smiled, then sat back in the chair opposite Gracella. "You and Tiffani are not alike at all."

Gracella rolled her eyes lazily. "Of course we're not alike, because we ...." Gracella hung up her words as she realized the gaffe in Richard's speech. "What did you mean just now?" ask Gracella.

"Your father and I are not identical twins, neither are you and Tiffani, neither are you identical twins, Grace."

Gracella laughed out loud. "Don't joke. Who are the twins? Me and Tiffani!"

Richard lifted both shoulders. "Just open the box then, so you can confirm my words."

This time without waiting, Gracella immediately opened the worn box that was on the table, she did not like Richard's rambling explanation. He has to make sure of it himself.

When the box opens, Gracella finds old files and photos showing a beautiful woman holding two newborn babies, and next to the woman Richard with a much younger version smiled warmly to the camera.

"My brother took a picture at the time. It was a very happy day for all of us, because you and Tiffani were born safe even though at first there were serious complications" Richard said, briefly to Gracella.

Gracella began to read one by one the birth files inside a large brown envelope.

"Alika Tiffani Raendra, Kiara Gracella Raendra" Gracella murmured.

"That's your real name. What a beautiful name, right? I know this is hard on you, Grace, but don't you deserve to know the truth. My brother and his wife were sentenced to have no children, and they came to us after learning that my wife was pregnant with twins. From then on they didn't stop begging me to give one of my children to them. They plead every day until your birthday and Tiffani arrives."

Gracella looked up, looking at Richard who was in front of her.

"You must be wondering why it should be you that I gave to my sister instead of Tiffani. You were babies then, it didn't occur to me to choose, it all just happened."

Gracella was silent. He said nothing, although the haughty expression on his beautiful face had now disappeared, and was replaced with an extremely shocked expression.

"You're my daughter, Grace, just like Tiffani" said Richard, who began to cry. "I miss you all the time, but I can't do much to have you back."

Richard wiped his tears that began to wet his face and said, "When it's about my brother's death, it's not all because of me. My sister was purely robbed, instead of being killed by my business rival as you have always believed. I followed the trial to completion, and the robber was indeed a recidivist in the same case."

Gracella's still flinching. He was at a loss to respond to the truth he had just heard from Richard. He was so surprised, he never expected that tonight he would sit facing the person he hated so much and it turned out that the person was his own real father.

Richard got up and walked over to Gracella, and rubbed the top of her head so gently. "Go back to your room and rest, that's enough for tonight. You need time to take it all in, don't you?"

Gracella stood up and walked away from Richard. "If all this is true, why are you just telling me this truth? Why don't you tell Tiffani too?"

"I was planning on saying all this to the two of you after the two of you can get along, which is why I gave you one week to start making peace, because you will want to say this important thing to both of you at the same time. However, since you insist on continuing to blame me for my own sister's death, inevitably I expose this truth sooner in front of you. After all, Tiffani's condition has not stabilized. She's pregnant, I want her to hear all this while her emotions are stable."

Gracella was silent, and there were many questions she wanted to ask Richard, but he chose not to. Now he was quite confused, and he decided not to add to his confusion any more.

"There's actually one more thing I want to say to both of you, but not now, next time I'll say it" Richard said.

The dreamy Gracella gasped when she heard Richard's voice speak to her again.

"Tell me now, because there won't be another time. I'll be back in Amsterdam tomorrow" Gracella said.

Richard was shocked and disappointed by the lightning decision Gracella made. "You'll still go back there even after knowing the truth."

Gracella nodded.

Richard took a breath. "Let's stay here for two months, or-"

"No. I'll be back tomorrow." Gracella shook her head, and quickly stepped towards the door.

"Just two months, Grace, this is my last request, because there's no next time!" richard shouted in a trembling voice.

Gracella stopped her steps, then turned back to look at Richard in confusion.

"I have terminal blood cancer, and the doctor has sentenced me to my age soon. Don't you want to spend time with your father before he leaves the world forever?"

Seriate.
