BE CINDERELLA

A restaurant that provides seafood is a favorite spot for Valerie. He ordered the processing of his favorite shells and ate it greedily.

"I'm having lunch, will Grandpa be there soon? It looks like it's raining." Valerie talked to someone over the phone.

"It looks like we're going to be a little late, there's something urgent" a man answered on the phone.

"Ah, okay. I'll wait." Valerie hung up the phone, then continued her lunch.

After finishing the meal, Valerie looked at the clock on her wrist. It seemed that he could not wait in this restaurant because he was worried about making the restaurant owner feel uncomfortable.

Valerie finally decided to get out of the restaurant and ride her motorcycle. He stopped by a flower shop and bought three bouquets of red roses.

The woman has now reached a feeding area. He walked with heavy footsteps, then stopped in front of three highly manicured mounds. Green clumps flourished above the third tomb, a bouquet of red roses leaning on the tombstone also looks fresh.

"Mama, Papa," said Valerie softly.

Between the two tombs with the names of his parents, there is a tomb with the same date of death. On the tombstone was inscribed a familiar name, Valerie Cameron.

Valerie tears her eyes while rubbing her the gravestones of her parents. The feeling of great longing makes him often experience nightmares.

Whenever Valerie dreamed of a terrible event that happened fifteen years ago, she always had a sudden fever. What happened back then was the biggest trauma of Valerie's life. Even up to this second, he still vividly remembered the faces of his father and mother when the car they were riding in exploded before his eyes.

"How are you guys? Ma, Pa? V misses," said the woman.

Valerie placed her mother's favorite red roses near the tombstone, not to forget she also kissed her father and mother's tombstones alternately.

"I'll come again next time. Thank you for being patient until I get to visit you again" Valerie said.

Before he left, he smiled faintly staring at the tombstone bearing his name.

Ten minutes later, Valerie arrives at a children's playground located in a city park. He walked quickly after parking his bike.

"Master wait, Miss." A forty-five-year-old middle-aged man smilingly greeted Valerie. His hands stretched out to point at an old man sitting on a park bench alone staring at the children playing in the sand.

"Thank you, Uncle." Valerie nodded politely. The woman walked excitedly towards the figure of the old man.

"Grandfather," said Valerie with a fluffy smile. It was obvious that the woman looked very happy.

"Valerie, sorry that grandpa was late. Have you had lunch?" ask someone who welcomes his granddaughter with a big smile. It was Theo, a sixty-year-old old man with white hair all over his scalp.

"It's okay, Grandpa. I had eaten, and had just come to visit my mom and dad" Valerie replied. He sat down beside Theo and the old man grabbed his grandson's shoulders.

"You miss them?" ask the Grandpa. Valerie nodded.

"Grandfather missed them too. Seeing you grow up so well and beautiful like this, they must be so proud."

Valerie took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. The memories he could barely recall made him even worse, but he was lucky to have a lot of support from all directions.

"Today there is a problem in the company" Theo said in a weak tone. Valerie turned her head, staring curiously at the wrinkled face beside her.

"My granddaughter, Grandpa was already feeling very old and tired of the theatrics. Can you start preparing yourself? Uncle Sena will help," Grandpa asked.

"Don't Grandpa say I still have time until I'm twenty-seven?"
