Today, they agreed to stay at the villa because the rain did not stop. Brian repeatedly apologizes to Valerie for making him unable to go home today. But behind all this, Brian felt very happy because he would spend a lot of time with the woman.

Brian gave one room to Valeri, which is the most spacious room among the three rooms in this villa.

As Valerie was drowning her body in a bath up of warm water, there was a loud knock on the door. The woman rushed to finish her bathing ritual and came out of the bathroom.

"What's wrong? I just took a shower" Valerie slightly shouted from behind the door. He knew Brian was in front of his room, and because he was not fully clothed, he did not open the door.

"I forgot that all my change of clothes are in this room."

"All right, wait a minute."

Valerie hurriedly put on the clothes Brian had provided. Because there was no other clothes she could use, Valerie was forced to wear makeshift clothes.

After getting dressed, Valerie opened the door. He saw Brian standing at the door of his room wearing a white towel wrapped around his waist.

"Can't you wear your other clothes?" ask Valerie. He was embarrassed to see Brian in such a situation.

"Why? You don't like it?" Brian asked back.

Valerie took a deep breath and exhaled slowly. The shape of a muscular stocky body with a stomach like torn bread was fascinating. Valerie almost drooled looking at him.

Valerie just silently watched Brian walk into her room. The woman waited patiently beside the door as Brian was busy choosing clothes that hung neatly in the closet.

Valerie approached, palpating a scar that had been visible for a very long time. Valerie was goosebumps when she imagined how it would feel when the wound was still wet.

Brian turned around, hugging Valerie's body tightly.

"Are you wondering why I care so much about Max and think of him as my own brother? He's even as precious as my life makes me protect him so much."

"Why?"

"Because both of his parents died to save me from the fire of my barn twenty years ago. Because of me, he became an orphan. Because of me, he lost his parents" Brian explained.

Valerie speechless. After a long time, the mystery of Brian and Max's relationship has finally been revealed. Brian had a compelling reason why he was so overprotective of Max.

"If Max's parents hadn't saved me back then maybe you'd never have known me."

"It's fitting that you treat Max so well" Valerie said.

"Hmm, I gave her everything she wanted without spoiling her. I never meant to make him tired of helping me take care of the company, but I wanted to make him learn more, so that one day he could be strong and independent" Brian explained.

Valerie smiled, she looked at that handsome face with awe. Her smile was so charming, her eyes were sharp and sweeping.

Looks like Brian really got Valerie drunk.
