Out of the ice cream stand, Brian again took Valerie around. This time, the man invited Valerie to visit a famous brand jewelry store.

Valerie had tried to refuse for the umpteenth time, but again Brian did not heed the woman's refusal.

In the store, Brian was busy choosing jewelry that had been served by salespeople. Valerie and Brian just sit and wait for the salespeople to come to them to show the new jewelry collection in the store.

Brian was enthusiastic. He wanted to buy a necklace for Valerie as a gift. Although Valerie told him many times that she didn't want to, Brian didn't hear it.

A white necklace with a rare white diamond pendant shaped like a pair of swans, caught Brian's attention. The man immediately asked the saleswoman to wrap him up after handing him a black card as a means of payment.

Valerie felt tired, confused, and did not know what to behave like.

If only he knew if in the end it would be like this, maybe he better refuse Brian's invitation. All of this did not make him happy, but made him even more restless and confused.

After Brian got what he wanted, they finally decided to get out of the mall. Now Brian drives his car to one of his five-star restaurants. Again, they received special services like kings and queens.

Even without a request, various lunch menus are fully presented on the table.

"May I ask you something?" said Valerie.

"Say."

"Is this the first time you've asked a woman out?"

Brian was silent, there was something on his mind.

"I'm sorry. Did I make a mistake? Does all this make you uncomfortable?" Brian asked back. Now Valerie can conclude, that this is indeed the first time for Brian.

"You didn't do anything wrong. Thank you for what you did to me today" Valerie said with a smile. He did not want to talk wrong, he was afraid Brian felt disappointed.

"I don't have any experience with women, so I'm trying hard to figure out what I don't know. Max told me, women always like special treatment, including wanting gifts. I had to learn a lot from him" Brian explained.

"His partner, Max is the mastermind!" valerie's grumbling is upset.

After lunch, Brian takes Valerie around. They sat on an empty bench located in the restaurant garden area.

Valerie took out a small parcel from inside her bag. He gave it to Brian.

"Why? You don't like her?" ask Brian. It was the necklace he had chosen a moment ago.

"I can't accept all these gifts. Everything is too fancy, too expensive. I feel unworthy."

"If I accept your love for all these things, then not love as my reason. I know you want to do what's best for me, but I think this is all overkill. I feel like a cheap woman whose love can be bought with money" Valerie said.

"Hey, don't say that. That's not what I mean."

"You should know, that not all women are complacent with luxury goods. I love all these gifts, the dresses, this necklace, everything is beautiful. It's just, I feel unworthy."

"I'm sorry" Brian murmured. He feels guilty. He thought everything he gave would make Valerie happy.

"I don't know anything about women. About what women want or what they like when going on a date. I'm sorry."

Valerie gave a small smile, she reached out and gently rubbed Brian's arm.

"It's okay. You don't have to know everything."

"You regret leaving with me?" ask Brian. Valerie shakes.

"Are you going to refuse if next time I ask you out on a date?"

"Of course not, but next time we'll date in a different way."
