Outside the hospital, Valerie was sitting pondering. He received a reply from the secretary of the grandfather if Theo was undergoing routine health care.
But Valerie said otherwise, she suddenly felt anxious and worried about her grandfather's health condition. Given Theo's no longer young age as well as the burden of thought she had to bear, Valerie felt perplexed.
As he waited long enough, he saw his grandfather's secretary coming out of the hospital alone. Valerie took the initiative to find out about her grandfather's condition, but Theo's strict guard and security forces made Valerie difficult.
"What can I do?" Valerie sighed fretfully.
Although her grandfather's secretary continues to reassure her that Theo is doing well, Valerie feels doubtful. He continued to wait and sit quietly outside the hospital to see the grandfather out in a state of good as what his secretary said.
During the wait, Valerie replies to messages as well as answers the phone from several people who keep asking for her upcoming gym schedule.
Because the business with Brian was not settled, Valerie canceled all gymnastics activities that she had arranged. Valerie wasn't even sure, should she accept Brian's offer as a bodyguard?
While daydreaming, a well-dressed man in a black suit came up to him.
"Sorry, who are you?" ask Valerie.
"This is a file and working rules that Mr. Carlos prepare. Please pay close attention before signing, "the man replied.
"Hey, how could ...." Valerie's words came to a standstill as the messenger man walked away after a brown map was in her hands.
"When did he prepare this? You're not sane!" Valerie cursed in heart.
He opened the map and saw a full sheet of work rules as a bodyguard that he had to obey.
In the agreement sheet, Valerie had to work for three full months. Starting from seven in the morning to an unspecified time according to Brian's work schedule and activities every day.
Valerie must come to Brian's house and accompany and escort the man during work and do activities either in the office area, home, or other places including if there are activities outside the city.
"It's crazy!"
"Is he crazy?"
Valerie was upset, the more she read, the more upset she became.
"Should I tell Grandpa this and ask him for help?"
"No, I can't do it!"
"This is my problem, I have to solve it!"
Valerie kept thinking, she was faced with a difficult choice.
When reading all the terms of the work to the end, he found a large nominal written at the very end. A fairly large fee with a job as a bodyguard.
"Wow, did he really offer this much salary?" Valerie glares.
The pay Brian offered for three months of work was equivalent to the income he could earn in over six months as a gymnastics instructor. That got Valerie interested.
Instantly, the woman opened the phone and floated a call on a number. After hearing three times the bib on his phone, someone immediately replied,
"I'm sure you'll agree right away" Brian said by phone.
"Are you sure of the pay you're offering?" ask Valerie to make sure.
"Of course, I always appreciate the people who work for me to the best of their ability."
"okay, deal. I accept your offer!"
Valerie agreed, she chose the best path to solve her problem. In addition to not involving the grandfather in this matter, he can also keep his good name without the need to deal with the police.
