While Valerie was still thinking, she had yet to give Noah an answer. But the man kept begging Valerie to make some time for him.

Seeing Noah's persistence, Valerie finally did not have the power to refuse. He asks Noah to wait a few minutes while he changes clothes.

"I'm sorry if you wait a long time" Valerie said. He got out of the boarding house and approached Noah who was waiting beside his car body.

"It's okay, V." Noah smiled. He opened the car door for Valerie and asked her to come in.

"What do you want to eat?" ask Noah. The car is now running at a slow speed.

"Anything I like."

"We're eating your favorite seafood. How's it?"

"Hm." Valerie nodded in agreement.

This isn't the first time Valerie and Noah have gone together. Although Noah has a lover, he still often invites Valerie out to just eat together or enjoy a snack at the cafe.

Their friendship is very good, Valerie always tries to appreciate Noah's lover by not too often accepting the man's invitation. But for Noah, their friendship is more important than his love affair.

A few minutes later they reached a seafood restaurant they had visited. Since the two have been friends for years, Noah knows what Valerie likes, including her favorite foods.

"When was the last time we ate together, you were so busy the last few months" Noah said. They sat together and waited for the food they ordered to arrive.

"I'm sorry, it's because I have to work all day" Valerie replied.

"How's your job? How much longer?"

"Less than a month, according to the employment contract I signed."

"Good, after this you can work as you please again. Mama asked how you were doing, she's got a replacement gymnastics instructor but she's still waiting for you to come back" Noah said.

As a certified gymnastics instructor, Valerie not only works for teenagers and young people who idolize sexy and seductive bodies. Valerie also hangs out with socialite mothers who dream of a beautiful and youthful body. Because of this, Valerie is very coveted by most of her gymnastics students as the daughter-in-law of dreams.

"Are you going to continue working for Brian after your contract ends? I think you're happy to work for him" Noah said.

"Come on," Valerie replied briefly. He just doesn't want to make sure.

"I'm sorry, V. But, I'm not happy that you're working for him."

"Why?" Valerie frowned.

"I don't like you being close to Brian. I think he hired you for some reason."

"Don't think bad, you'll be friends" Valerie said.

"It's precisely because we're friends and I've known him longer than you. He's not the kind of person who forgives easily, he always acts decisively and quickly. He doesn't talk too much and spends his whole life just working. I was worried because suddenly he wanted a woman to work for him, especially as a bodyguard. You will always be together!"

"I can take care of myself, Noah. Don't worry about me" Valerie replied casually.

"Since you've been working for Brian, I've realized something. That I .. like you."

Valerie rounded her eyes wide. He looked at Noah and could not believe what he had just heard.

"Ah, don't make it up. Would you like to send your girlfriend?" valerie asked with a little peppered laugh.

"We separated a few weeks ago. Despite being in a relationship with him, I can't be far from you. I care about you more, think about you and worry about you."

Valerie shook her head slowly. "No, Noah. Don't be like this."
