LIKE GOING BACK IN TIME
All pairs of eyes were fixed on the beautiful blonde woman in a luxurious navy-colored dress. The woman walked over full of charm accompanied by amazed gazes from everyone.
The lights panned Valerie's every footstep until she took the stage and confronted her grandfather. Politely, Valerie kissed the back of Theo's hand, then the old man hugged his granddaughter longingly. While Elena, still did not move from her place.
Under the stage, Damian and his wife could only helplessly surrender. From the beginning they thought that Valerie had died with her parents, then suddenly she was an adult and stood before them.
Among all the invited guests, there were two humans who had almost lost consciousness. They are Calvin and Rossa, both of whom are sculpted and silent. Their eyes did not even blink as they stared at Valerie.
Calvin felt his entire body tremble, even his palms and feet were wet from the cold sweat. The beautiful woman that he had been humiliating and he lowered his pride, was not an arbitrary woman. Somehow Calvin will appear in front of Valerie, but he really felt so embarrassed that he wanted to get out of this building covered his face.
"You can come down, accompany your parents" Valerie told Elena in a slight whisper. He half sat down to help Elena get up. There was no point in Elena kneeling down to even cry blood though. Because everything that has happened, is something that has been planned for years.
Elena looked at Valerie and Theo alternately. He wanted to cry loudly and plead with the two people in front of him, because he did not want his parents to go to prison.
"You're still Grandpa's granddaughter, Elena. Your parents still have to take responsibility for their actions" Theo said.
Not long after, Elena ran down the stage as her parents were forcefully dragged out of the building. They were immediately taken to the police station. No more opportunities, no more explanations they can give.
After Elena's departure following her parents, Valerie on stage gave a warm welcome and introduced herself in front of all the invited guests.
Not only was she beautiful and polite, she was intelligent and very admirable. Everyone was fascinated by Valerie's beautiful face and how the woman hypnotized the entire pair of eyes with her elegance and intelligence in speaking. Not wrong, Theo has made his grandson into a precious diamond that is worth waiting for.
"Valerie Cameron, she is my granddaughter and the rightful heir to all the assets and ownership of the company. From today on, I, Theo Cameron, have decided to retire and leave all authority and responsibility to my grandson!"
Hearing that, Calvin felt the entire joint in his body relax. The middle-aged man was holding his chest which was painful. The stupidest thing he did in his entire life was not to trace the origin of the woman loved by his son. Calvin even felt afraid, if only Theo had known all his deeds to Valerie all this time.
"Is dad okay?" ask Rossa to worry.
"Let's get out of here, Ma." Assisted by Rossa, Calvin leaves the party room and exits the building.
