To lose a life is a very serious crime. Even if exchanged for a myriad of money, it will not be comparable to the lives that have been lost as well as the misery experienced by the people left behind.
Valerie could forgive the wrongs of those who hurt her, but she could not forgive those who forcibly took the lives of her parents.
Due to the loss of parents, Valerie had to be exiled for more than ten years. He could not move freely to meet his grandfather, or even just visit the tomb to his two parents.
During that time, Valerie lived in a distant place, with others whom she already considered to be surrogate parents. Until she reached adulthood, Valerie lived independently.
Valerie has nightmares about her parents' death. The incident of a rolled over car and the sound of a loud explosion made Valerie feel the fear of her entire life. While the perpetrator, can breathe with relief, enjoy the position and luxurious life with his family.
"Son, My granddaughter. If you don't want to see them, that's fine. Grandpa will meet them alone" Theo said. He was worried that Valerie could not resist his anger and annoyance if met with the two perpetrators.
"No, Grandpa. I have to see them" replied Valerie.
Theo took a long breath. He can't ban Valerie if she insists.
After a conversation with the police chief investigator, Valerie and Theo are escorted by Noah to the room where Delia is being held. Delia was placed in a different place from her husband, it was to facilitate investigators in extracting honest information from both parties.
Valerie asks them to be found in a room that is more comfortable, for whatever reason, Valerie does not want to meet her Aunt behind bars. With Theo's request, the police agreed. They were found inside the investigator's office and given the opportunity to chat in person.
"Valerie, is that you?" delia asked with a trembling tone. His voice was hoarse because of crying too much, also a very messy appearance made Valerie feel pity.
"I don't want to call you aunty" Valerie said softly.
"I'm sorry Auntie, Valerie. Sorry Aunt. Aunty regretted everything, forgive Auntie," said Delia sobbing.
"Where have you been all this time? You regret for fear of punishment and justice. But all this time you and your husband and son have been enjoying a luxurious life with everything you stole from us. Have you been sleeping well all this time?" valerie asked with a piercing glare. His face was flat, yet inwardly he wanted to scream in pain.
Delia could not answer, she just cried, pondered over Valerie's every word and realized her mistake. Now regret is of no use.
"You made me lose both my parents. You made me live a life full of trauma and fear for the rest of my life!" bentak Valerie's. A drop of her tears fell.
"Have you been content to enjoy a luxurious life with treasures all this time?"
"You satisfied?"
"You're content to have what you want?"
"Do you guys know? My parents felt tremendous pain during the accident, then they gave up and ended up lying stiff underground. Me, orphan!"
"There will be no apologies, there will be no second chances. You must take responsibility, I will make sure that you will suffer until the rest of your ages!" exciting Valerie.
