The Loyola Beach 1
“Viana! Viennese! You-is that?” said someone who half ran up to Lintani.
It was the sound of a man dressed in seedy clothes resembling a madman, he was wrongly calling out names, until no one knew, including Lintani, that girl only turned her head for a moment. However, the man stared pushyly at him, who was sitting in the yard next to the factory, where there was a small garden that was used as a place for new products on display, to be taken the picture was then uploaded to the company's official social media network.
However, the man had not yet come near, the guards had already turned his back on him, asking him to leave and not bothering the Master and Madam they were talking four-eyes there.
The man could do nothing until he left and left a dirty footprint near the factory yard.
Askelan held Lintani's chin to stare at her and said, “You really want to go to your village, hemm?” while kissing her lips, makes Lintani surprised. It's a public place, of course he's ashamed.
“Yes. You promised to obey all my wishes, right?”
“Hmm ..” Askelan said while kneeling, in front of his wife who was still sitting casually on the bamboo chair.
“I want to ask you something, what if in reality, things are there, not what you imagined? Are you ready?”
“What do you mean?”
“I told you earlier, I want to hear your childhood story, when you sold your mother?”
“Oh, the?”
“Ya!”
“Actually it's a thing I want to forget, I'm sad to remember it.”
Askelan was silent, just reminded about the incident Lintani was sad what else if you have to know, other circumstances that are much worse?
Suddenly the man stood up, turning his gaze in all directions while rubbing his coarse hair.
Should I make something happen that makes her sadder? Her thought.
“Come!” Askelan is taking Lintani's hand, “there's a nicer place than your village!”
Lintani let go of his rough grasp, feeling astonished that Askelan was so clearly trying to prevent his departure.
“What does it mean, Elan! Are you hiding something? There is no better place than that lake!”
“You haven't seen Loyola beach, have you? I'll take you there!”
“I don't want to!”
Hearing Lintani's reply, Askelan hugged her and said gently, “I won't force you if you don't want.”
Lintani loosened her embrace then she said, “Listen, Mr. Askel! I don't disrespect you, but, my request to go there you want it too!”
“I? No. ..!”
“Didn't you say you'd obey everything I wanted?”
“Ya!”
“And I want to go there, if you don't want to, I can go alone.”
Suddenly Lintani remembered that if the money and some items he had brought from the prison first, he had left in the dome building, but, the building had also been destroyed. He did not know how Askelan destroyed it, but whatever the reason, everything that was already lost would never be his.
The girl threw away her face and was about to step away from Askelan, but, then she turned.
“Then you cancel what I previously planned, I will not hesitate to complain to Mom!” said.
“What?” Askelan asked, she was surprised by the intention of Lintani who would complain to her mother, because Elliyat was gone. Despite that, he still followed where his wife was going, he walked slowly behind her.
“Yes, Honey, don't worry ... I'm not gonna cancel it. We'll go there when the boat's done, okay?”
Lintani turned around and extended her hand to Askelan's shoulder then, kissing her soft lips.
After they are in the car, Lintani grants Askelan a wish to know the story of her childhood. He told how he was carried by his mother that day, he woke up after the sun rose. However, he saw the atmosphere of the quiet house was not as usual.
As she walked into the kitchen, she saw Viana was collecting some toys, stationery, bags and duly, all the other clothes and supplies. Without saying much, the woman took her daughter half-running, down her house which was located at a place higher than the shore of the lake.
Viana carried the little Lintani with half a run, and the face covered with a big hat, she did not know why her mother treated her in such a way, she was dressed in three layers.
“So, your mother didn't say anything, when you could ask her?” ask Askelan, she's still rubbing Lintani's hand since.
“I asked, but I just said, be a good boy. You'll stay with your aunt, from now on! I wanted to ask Grandpa back then about Auntie in town, because I never knew, but, I didn't see Grandpa anywhere!”
“Just like that?”
“Yes, Mom never answered, and she just gave me a ruined phone back then.”
“Is there anything else you remember?”
“While on the way, I just said, never remember Grandpa's story, everything he said was just a fairy tale of the past.”
“Hmm ... what did Grandpa tell you?”
Lintani laughed, she remembered, everyone, because she was so happy to hear her Grandfather's story. The old man so spoiled him, he often took him to catch red-finned fish, then burned it by the lake while telling him about the golden mountain located far away from a city.
“Kata Grandpa, the mountain was owned by a very beautiful queen. The Queen will rule the land justly with a king of her heart, who loves her with all her heart. Because if not sincere, he will not pass the test to marry the queen!”
“Oh yes? Do you think there's a mountain like that?”
“No, said Mother, the pseudo story Grandpa was just a fairy tale ...” Lintani looked out the window.
“Maybe your mother was right ..”
“Yes, but, I still remember how Grandpa taught me how to sift through the soil to make gold!”
“That's a good science. You can become a lecturer if you want to teach how to find gold from a lump of land.”
“No... I did not finish college, how could I be a lecturer, let alone I am still pregnant with your child!”
Askelan instantly dropped a glance at Lintani's stomach and rubbed it gently.
“You need to get out quickly, so you can help your mother make her dream come true!”
“Do you know what my biggest dream since I was a child?”
“Hmm ... become a designer?” Askelan asked while upholding her back.
“Not!”
“Then?”
“Become a fisherman, who can find many fish! Or look for shells and pearls on the bottom of the ocean! That's amazing, they're very appreciated for bringing a lot of fish, and they'll make money, that's what I had in mind.”
Askelan almost laughed at the ideals of his wife who never crossed his mind, how can a woman desire to be a fisherman? Truly it is a very simple ideal, but, it is difficult to realize.
“Oh, yes! I'm wondering, was there an explosion or a loud noise you heard?”
“Not before, but, I saw an explosion as I was already riding Mr Lux's car!”
“Dan, your mother has returned to her boat?”
“Ya!”
Askelan suddenly hugged Lintani tightly, she was so grateful that she survived that time. Had it not been, then, the girl probably would not have been his wife.
“I'm glad you're in—“ Askelan's speech came to a halt, as Jordan hinted that they've reached the shores of Loyola Beach.
