Mother's Choice Woman

Mother's Choice Woman
Chapters 141. Everyone Lies

Mom, Everyone Lies to Me

While Mo who was standing behind Lintani, glanced at a place with a look of pity, at someone who was staring at them with a complicated gaze at once full of love and longing.

He is Askelan, if Lintani knew how to make the tomb, maybe he would be very grateful. After learning about her son eight years ago, she deployed several experts and witnesses to find out where the baby was buried. Then he made the little tomb.

Lintani walks over, and asks Mo, to make a hole and plant his hair there, as if he wants to make sure his past is buried with the hair and body of his son. Had he sprinkled it over the grave of the dead, it would have been an insult.

“Is there anything else you want to do here Miss?” Mo asked after they were done with his activities. As usual Lintani just shook her head without speaking. His gaze was still fixed on the small round-shaped tomb and it had that sweet tombstone.

Lintani sighed deeply before stepping out from the funeral. The atmosphere in the place located behind the hospital looked lonely, as if supporting someone to get even sadder. Suddenly, the corner of Lintani's heart expects someone to see their child's grave.

When Lintani re-entered the car, the corner of her eye caught a shadow from behind the trees, she thought that it was Askelan but she tried to shake her mind.

“Auntie, did you tell Askelan that I would be in this place now?”

“I'm sorry Miss.”

Lintani sat down while circulating her gaze. From Mo's remark, Lintani knew if most likely, Askelan was indeed there. She did not avoid longing for her husband, but, again, she was still unable to meet. He was afraid that seeing her would hate her even more.

“Aibi ... Did you bring a phone?” lintani asked, when she realized that her phone was left in the room when she left earlier.

“Ya!”

“Tell him what he made that tomb for my son? I thank you for that!”

“Alright!”

After arriving at the highway, Lintani looked back once she still thought that Askelan was following her car. However, he did not know as it had suddenly become so many cars around him, that it was uncertain whether Askelan was really following him or not.

Lintani then, directs the driver to go to Elliyat's grave, wanting to visit him. He fell asleep when the driver deployed their vehicle there, because the trip was taken from the suburbs, to the Elliyat cemetery, quite far away.

Arriving there, Lintani got out of the car with a bunch of lilies. He was shocked when he saw Askelan kneeling at the side of his mother's grave. Instantly he became awry because it was impossible to dodge.

Askelan looked over and saw him. Lintani could not possibly be angry in such a place, because after all, it was her mother's grave.

“How are you doing Mom? I hope you're okay .. I am too. Sorry ... I've just had the chance to visit you now, I just wanted to let you know that, you will soon have a grandchild.”

Lintani paused for a moment, only to take a breath. His stomach was getting bigger therefore the need for oxygen in his blood was getting bigger as well.

“Bu .. I just looked at Pearl, do you know Mom? He sends you greetings! And I've cut my hair!”

Stop talking to wipe away tears. It was as if he heard someone talking, and he replied.

“Yes! As I swear, I already found the guy, therefore I cut him!”

Stopped again, looking up at the sky, as if holding back her tears from continuing to spill.

“Bu, I'm lonely, if you had, I would have told you everything. Turns out, my real mother never sold me. I've been tormented hating my own mother for years, an unwarranted hatred, just because everyone's been lying to me. I grew up in a family full of falsehoods .. Then, when I grew up again I was lied to by someone. You know what it's like, Mom? It hurts so much, Mom. Pain!”

As she spoke, Lintani wiped the tears flowing down her cheeks.

"Yes, Mom. I'm sorry I cried in front of you!"

Don't ask what Askelan was feeling at the time. His entire body trembled, as it held on with all its might not to approach, hug and also did not wipe away the tears on the girl's cheeks. She held back the turmoil in her heart, if she could she just wanted to disappear from there because what she saw was so stifling.

He regretted having decided to come to that place, only to be convinced that Lintani would go to his mother's grave, and that was true.

Askelan thought she would be strong, as she looked at Lintani up close. But he did not expect the reaction of his heart to be so weak, because he thought about what Lintani said in the tomb.

Of course Lintani's words affected her heart bigger than the scene before her. His words seemed to turn into thousands of knives which then stuck simultaneously in his chest. The pain was more painful than when his hand was injured.

Long enough Lintani cried standing up, she completely ignored Askelan who was on her knees, she was on the other side of the tomb but her position was still face to face.

Suddenly she asked, “Can I hold you, Honey?” he still remained on his knees as if intentionally maintaining that position to, beg for forgiveness.

Askelan waited for Lintani's answer while continuing to look at her expectantly. The girl looked down at him, having managed to wipe away the tears with the tissue Mo gave her.
