Askelan was already standing at the side while shaking her waist, she was the one who kicked the door of Dex's car violently. Meanwhile, some of his men who were in other cars had already come out and surrounded Dex's car.

“Uncle! Open door!” lintani said trying to get out.

“Alright, I won't force, but, remember ... Think again of my offer, my heart will always be open to you. You are so beautiful, your beauty would be in vain if you were only a wife but ignored! I will love you for a lifetime, believe me!”

After saying so, Askelan turned around while tidying up her suit and entered the car quickly and, immediately left Dex in her car with a creepy grin on her face.

As soon as Dex's car left, Askelan's bodyguards followed their master's car.

Meanwhile in the car, he ignored Lintani, as if there was no one else beside him.

“Don't think of anything, I didn't say anything about our marriage,” said Lintani in a trembling and fearful voice, her body already sweating.

Askelan did not answer, she did not think at all about their marriage, which would be known by people or not, but, she was more worried about the girl if it was not in the hands of Dex. He did not know what to answer in front of his mother.

“I won't repeat it again, believe me! Don't you get mad, yeah?” lintani said, trying to persuade.

Askelan was still silent whereas, Lintani only looked at her profile from the side in astonishment, how calm this man was like a lighthouse in the middle of the sea that was not wavering in the storm. The girl only saw her junks descending rapidly indicating that Askelan was actually agitated.

Lintani took the initiative to get closer and grabbed Askelan's hand then, grasped it tightly then, carried her to the front of the chest while saying, “Sorry ... I'm sorry ..!”

Askelan turned her head and looked at her hand. So did Jordan who stole a glance from the rearview mirror while holding back a laugh. It's so funny.

Askelan usually only gets Lintani's spoiled attitude in front of her mother for pretending, but this time it's just the two of them, making her wonder, so she thinks about working on it.

“What will you do if Dex visits you again?”

Askelan shook her head for something else, even though she already knew everything. He knew how rude the Lux family was to Lintani and some unreasonable orders.

All was in the tape but, Askelan for the time being was helpless considering that the family was, the family of the woman who had already meritorious to her even, now Haifa was pregnant with the seed from him so he would not be able to repay anything for their deeds to his wife.

On the way, Askelan's phone rang and it was from Haifa, who contacted her. The woman asked to meet after her lover said hello gently.

“Askel Darling, can we meet today I want to ask you some things this is important, Honey!” haifa said from behind the phone. It seemed like the man had deliberately let the person inside the car hear it.

“What is important you think, not necessarily important in my opinion is not it?”

“Yes. I know you are busy .. sorry, already annoying, then I will ask next time.”

“If you really want to ask something just ask now!”

“Alright! I wonder why you suddenly asked me if I was injured or not in that hut?”

If now he had admitted everything to Askelan, could it be that he would believe it? So Lintani chose silence.

Indeed back then, Haifa did not say in detail but, she could deduce a few things, about the true reality. Long ago, before Haifa admitted her deception and told her who Askelan really was, she felt something in the man that resembled the man in the log cabin or the man in the car. However, after Haifa said everything then she realized, it was only fitting that she felt that way.

Now, from the conversation earlier, it seemed that Askelan was starting to doubt something, but, Lintani still did not want to say it because she hoped that the man would come to his own senses.

‘God! How should I say it he would not possibly instantly believe it just like that!’ inner Lintani.

When Lintani was shocked by Askelan's words, she canceled her step to enter her room and turned her head.

Askelan's question is, “Do you know Wooden Cottage?”

“What did you say? Wooden cottage?”

“Yes! I'll take a walk to the hill of the log cabin tomorrow. Do you want to come?”

“No!”
