Askelan waited for Lintani's answer while continuing to look at her expectantly. The girl looked down at her husband after successfully wiping away the tears with the tissue Mo gave her.
“Did you make Pearl's tomb?” Lintani asked back. His gaze was straight but meaningless, his eyes light as if losing the passion of life. Her pale and puffy face from crying too much, further infuriated Askelan herself.

Lintani took one step forward, then stopped again.
After Lintani said like that, she just left, with a broken feeling. He knew staying away from Askelan would hurt, but being nearby was much more painful.
On the way home, Lintani invites Mo to a baby supply store, she buys some boys clothes. Although some clothes and necessities have been provided by Askelan at Villa Loyola also in their home, Lintani still wants to buy it, because shopping like that is a pleasure for every woman.
