Chapter 21. I'm waiting for you

I'll wait for you at the Morena Hotel

 

Askelan glanced angrily at Lintani because of jealousy, her mother was so attentive to the girl like she was the real biological child. The man felt cornered, especially when Lintani bravely rubbed her arms with a smile. Unfortunately again, the smile was so sweet that it made him inevitably have to reply.

“Mother, it is not necessary, Askel has been very good to me, I am really very happy to be near him!” Said Lintani, after which she let go of her embrace in Askelan's arm and turned to hold Elliyat's hand.

Instantly Askelan felt that one of his hands was as if empty, he felt the warmth from the chest of the girl that was clinging earlier, vanishing.

“Lin, don't be like me, you should be able to show in front of the children later, if you are very beautiful and proud to marry my son in my dress.”

“Mother, your sacrifice is enough ... no more need to make such a party!” askelan.

“Child, stupid! Not the party I wanted ...” Elliyat took her eyes off Askelan on Lintani and again said, “Lin, I want someone to wear my dress, it's the only shirt I can make, after that I never design again.”

“Alright, Mother .. I'm sure your dress is very beautiful, I will wear it if it's a wish that can make you happy.” Lintani said as she let go of Elliyat's grasp and grabbed the man's hand beside her, saying, “Come, Honey..we prepare the wedding as soon as possible!” while blinking one eye.

Everything Lintani did made Askelan's heart, as if it stopped beating instantly. To her the girl was so brash, no woman dared to do such a thing to her except for the mischievous girls that some of her business colleagues had sent to tease or trap her.

Askelan never fails in defense, how often the competitors try to take him down in various ways, but, he always manages to beat them. It's just that, a month ago, he had broken charcoal, he was annoyed at his unwary self that his competitors could poison him several times in a day. He could not bear it and ended up asking Jordan to look for a weak woman, who was more or less similar to the girl in the night, eight years ago.

When Jordan puts in a clown-looking woman, she hesitates, but she is so weak in her arms that she can feel the same touch, make it not nauseous when they are fused together. Even the warmth from within her body was the same as the girl in the log cabin.

Askelan is aware though, that she is already very powerful and her family is on her knees, but, there are only a few loopholes from some patriarchy that she cannot fully control. Sly people were everywhere making him have to be more cunning than them!

However, now he was again helpless before the two women, one was the mother he loved while the other was a cunning woman who used her mother for money and now she wants a bridal dress as well.

It was a very naive desire, but he had to make his mother happy even though the girl was happy. She had to rent a hotel away from the city center to cover her wedding.

Lintani came out of Elliyat's room holding Askelan—'s hand. However, she let go of it as she was already outside the door, she walked away leaving the man who was staring at her as well as his own hands in turn.

“Wait!” askelan said it prevented Lintani from leaving before taking a few steps away from her.

The girl turned her head and answered her call tightly and cold eyes like the Antarctic pole. Had Askelan not been a polar bear, he would have been frozen.

For him what he did was worth it when he was very unhappy when he had to touch or spoiled with Askelan but, in order to make Elliyat happy and his eyes still sparkled, he forgot his reluctance.

But after Elijah did not see him again, of course he was free to will as he pleased this man. She doesn't need to be sweet-tempered because she's not a real husband, she's just a doll wife for her mother's sake. Moreover, he did not want others to treat him badly anymore, being in prison, was his last vices.

Askelan did not immediately reply as she was finishing sending some messages to someone.

“Go to monera hotel in two days, I don't want you there when my mom comes later!” askelan said after finishing with her phone, and kept both hands on her pants pocket.

“What should I do in that hotel?”

“Take the wedding, as my mother wishes!”

“Ah, Sir. You'd better not lie before God, it's your whole life's promise you don't have to do it if you don't like it, no problem ... I'm good at pretending!”

“Yes, I know you're very good at acting!” Askelan said without letting go of her eyes from Lintani who was also looking at her. It was as if their gazes could turn into complaints of thousands of swords.

“Alright so let's keep acting!”

“Listen ... If you don't come at 10.00 am at that hotel, then don't expect you to be alive tomorrow!”

“Crazy! Your job threatens me, you think I'm scared?” Lintani said without knowing, but there was a slight trembling in her tone.

‘’Ya Lord! I'm actually scared! A man like him could kill at any time, who knows what he keeps under his clothes!’ inner Lintani.

Askelan almost laughed at such a defiant remark but, in fact, the girl was so frightened.

At first she thought that, Lintani was the same girl as the girl in the log cabin because the scent she was giving off was the same and, when she could fall asleep quietly in her arms. However, looking at the rough character of the girl before him, he again wanted to vomit as was his custom when he met another woman who approached him.

However, his wits and feelings were not compact as suddenly his hands stretched out to reach Lintani's waist towards him until their bodies stuck together. And unfortunately again, Askelan felt familiar with everything that was on the girl.
