Do It Well
Lintani attached an ear to Askelan's chest and listened to the irregular heartbeat while carrying her. Her hand gently rubbed the chest of her husband's field, then, looked up while saying, “Are you worried about me?”
“Sure!”
“You didn't ask why I didn't kill him?”
Askelan carried his wife's body calmly as if he didn't mind at all, he shook his head, responding to Lintani's question.
“No need, I'm sure you have your own reasons .. but, I'm actually curious too!”
“I let him live with his guilt for life, it seems that it was the most appropriate punishment, rather than eliminating him now and he could meet my mother!”
“You very clever Princess, I am not wrong to love you!”
Lintani pinched Askelan's chest in anxiety, but, the man only slightly frowned as if he did not feel any pain. He pinched it again until they reached the room.
For the sake of seeing the reaction of Askelan, who is ordinary, Lintani also asked, “Didn't it hurt?”
Askelan slowly laid down his wife's body on the bed, then locked her with both hands and her body resting on both knees.
“You want me to be in pain? Uh! Pain ...!” Askelan shouted while dropping down beside Lintani and held her chest, where the woman had been, pinching.
Lintani chuckles, “Your flair is not funny, Elan!”
“No problem ... You can pinch and do anything on my body— I can hold it—as long as you like it!”
“Really?”
“Ya!”
Without permission, Lintani got up and sat on Askelan's stomach, rubbed his shoulders and neck, then bit at that part quite hard. Again Askelan was silent and smiled, making Lintani again bite in other parts.
“Do you hate me? Not satisfied with pinches and bites? Huh!”
“You said you could hold it as long as I like, right?”
Askelan nodded she pulled Lintani to sleep on top of her body then, hugged her tightly.
“Sleep ... Tomorrow we leave ...”
“What would you do if it turned out that one day I was forced to hurt you?” Askelan suddenly asked.
Lintani raised her head, trying to look at Askelan's face while saying, “Okay, maybe I'll kill you.”
“Alright, do it well and do not hesitate, because it could be me who will turn to kill myself!”
“Why are you asking like that?”
“Because my world is full of deceit, intrigue and deception to keep your opponent from wrenching.”
“Yes! I understand about that. But, I don't like a liar!” lintani said, while putting her head on Askelan's chest again.
“I know ...” said Askelan, while kissing the crown and sighing long. Then, rub Lintani's head gently until the girl falls asleep.
After a long time and making sure Lintani was soundly asleep, Askelan moved the woman beside her by sliding her own body, enveloping her, and leaving her alone in the room after turning off the lights.
He met his men on the back porch who were still preoccupied with removing bullets from Pinot's hands and feet. When finished, Askelan sat back in her folding chair, crossed her legs and folded her hands in front of her chest. They let the man go free because under such conditions, he could not possibly escape.
“So you know everything about Cemiton Shaw hill and also my wife?”
Pinots grimace withstanding pain, as they do so without anesthesia. He looked at Askelan in fear, then nodded.
Askelan played a knife in his hand, and looked very sharp.
“What could possibly make you refrain from speaking to anyone ready about my wife, the treasure and the stamp, should I cut off your tongue?”
Hearing Askelan's words, Pinot sat down, ignoring the pain in his legs and hands. He was sure, if Askelan would cut off his tongue without anesthesia again. It's gonna hurt a lot, isn't it?
However, why did he not want anyone to know about the treasure, did he really not want it, or did he love Viana's child so much that he did not want the girl to get hurt? Her thought.
“Master! You can take my oath, I won't tell anyone, if I can just forget the memory!”
“Cih!” Askelan spit, “You're good at talking! I'll keep your promise, but remember ... all your life, you have to work for me without getting paid anything, I still forgive you because you helped my wife's mother until she survived, until now.”
