Why You Ask

“Why do you ask me that, have you ever cheated on me, and now do you doubt it's my son or not?” Askelan asked back, making Lintani look away while smiling cynically at herself.

“No, I never do it with anyone else, after that guy .... unless, with you!” Lintani says with a reddened face and warmed cheeks, her feelings on two sides between sepals and embarrassment.

“This is your son!” Said Lintani while rubbing her still flat stomach.

Askelan held up a hug, then buried her face in Lintani's neck, saying in a slightly quivering voice.

“I know, the baby is my son, right? Don't betray me, or you'll see me die in a way you never imagined!”

Lintani feels strange, because usually the person threatened with death, is a traitor. However, Askelan said clearly that he threatened to kill himself, showing such a deep sense of guilt and regret.

‘Why is he talking like that, is it because his mother has been betrayed before? So big is the wound in your heart because of the man called Father?’ inner Lintani.

“Mr Askel, usually the word faithful or betrayed is only appropriate for two people who love each other, you do not overdo it!”

Askelan loosened her embrace, staring fixedly right at her eyeballs while rubbing Lintani's cheeks gently.

“Come! Sit here!” askelan said so. Had his legs not been injured he would have carried Lintani up to the bed, but, he could not, so asked the girl to sit on his lap.

“For what? I can walk by myself,” said Lintani almost stepped but, Askelan pulled her waist until she was sitting there.

“Ah! Lower me!”

“Feel!” askelan said with a smile and again said, “I'm sure you've never felt it!”

The wheelchair runs automatically, with Lintani in her lap.

“Taste what?”

“Walking in a wheelchair!”

Askelan carried Lintani around the room with the chair, while their eyes continued to stare at each other, until Askelan stopped the pace of the chair.

“Have been satisfied driving around, Elan?” ask Lintani.

At that time, Askelan had knitted her eyebrows for thinking about Lintani's call to her, but, a moment later she nodded with a smile. While Lintani comes down from her lap.

“You're not dizzy anymore, are you?”

Lintani shook her head, while Askelan ran the chair towards the small table and took the remote, pressing one of the buttons open, a wall near the door of the room, by shifting.

“Come here, your clothes!” Askelan invites Lintani to an invisible room and the door is similar to a wall. There lined several transparent wardrobes, full of various supplies, similar to a convenience store. The width of the room was almost the same as the space of their bed and was located not far from the bathroom.

Lintani was stunned for a moment, just like last night, she did not know where Mo brought her a pajama change while changing her famous clothes dirt from her entrails.

“What else do you keep secret, other than this wardrobe, Elan?”

“What I keep secret? Yourself!”

“I? Why should I keep you secret?”

“Because you are my lover and no one can have you but me!”

Lintani chuckled, her heart blossoming, but, a moment later regained her alert mode. People like Askelan can have women anywhere and anytime.

“Do you keep weapons also here?” Lintani said while picking her underwear and nailing her, she was actually just kidding.

“Ya!” Askelan replied as she opened the drawer behind the neatly hanging clothes, took out one weapon and showed it, “If you want, you can have just one, when if you want to kill someone!”

Lintani smiled back at the man, she felt she had no enemies in her life. Even if the Lux family is evil and outrageous, he has absolutely no grudge against them.
