Lintani sits inside her own room, she can't sleep all night, out of concern for Askelan. She did not know where her husband was going. From the moment he woke up, Pit had always calmed down and asked him to calm down and not think about it.
How could that be? Her thought.
On the cliff side there was no signal, so everyone could not contact Askelan. Pit just suspected something was happening, but, he didn't know anything. Those who were there, could not use advanced tools like the ones his friends used, to exchange information.
Everyone on the small boat, did not know the circumstances that were happening on the edge of the lake, until they could only wait.
After Lintani was transferred to the ship yesterday, a doctor gave her a drip and sedative that kept the girl fast asleep. He awakens at night because of his need, which is when he realizes that Askelan is not with him.
His body was very limp because since yesterday no food could enter his stomach. Only that infusion filled his nutrition. Even so, he still cleaned himself and his face with to make it look a little fresher.
