Chapter 22. Lunch Invitation

Lunch Invitation

Askelan lowered her head near Lintani's ears and said, “Why can your hair be so long, have you never cut it?”

Lintani looked up so that their faces were close together, then she nodded. She hasn't cut her hair since the death of her baby. Ah, baby, suddenly she misses him then, without feeling her tears just dripping.

Lintani's hair was long enough to cover her buttocks she never cut her hair, except when she could find the grave of the man who had made her pregnant. That's determination. He got into the cell when his hair was only on his neck. Now he wants to find out who the man he killed was. In fact, he was surprised when in the courtroom, the judge in the trial never mentioned the name of the man who had been the victim.

Ah, it could be, he was just accused of killing the wind! Or a mosquito, but, he had to serve eight years in prison, that too he had received leniency for his kindness.

“Hmm ...” Askelan kissed the end of Lintani's hair, after which she again said, “It looks like your hair has never been cut more than 5 years.” Holding that hair in his hand. From the hair, that is the smell that comes.

“Did you love your hair all this time?” Askelan said again.

“Release! It's none of your business, it's our agreement that none of us have the right to interfere in each other's personal affairs, right?”

Lintani said as she moved trying to remove her waist and hair from the man, pushing her chest with all her might. However, instead of being detached but, instead the hold on his back was getting tighter, like in the grip of two hands at once, whereas one hand Askelan still held her hair.

“You don't want me to do this again?” askelan said as Lintani stopped her attempt to escape, she was tired.

“Ya!” lintani said quickly, he did not want Askelan to continue forcing him.

“But, I don't want you to do anything to me!”

“Do what?”

“Snapping me.”

Hmh! The man wants to be treated like a real husband, asking Lintani to be gentle with him, even though he only wants to get married because of his mother. Goddamnit!

“If I keep doing it, what will you do to me?”

“I can do as I please even kill you I can!”

“I know, then just kill me right now!”

Askelan was speechless because she couldn't possibly kill the girl unless she really didn't come to the Monera hotel located southwest of the city to fulfill her mother's wishes.

She slowly let go of the arms around Lintani's waist and, she said, “I'll bring Mom's wedding dress later tonight and you can try it.”

“I told you I don't need to be good at pretending in front of your mother If you're not sincere, remember it's a covenant before God!”

“I don't care.”

Without answering Askelan let Lintani go and walked quickly towards the elevator. However, when he got to the front door of the elevator that had just opened, someone he very much avoided came out from there.

Just now that he had a dangerous rogue expression, suddenly the look on the girl's face turned soft and sad, she was as if struck by a calamity right then and there! He felt hot as he saw Askelan walking towards. Now his voice became soft and smiled sweetly at Lintani then, grabbed her hand while shaking it.

“Come Lin, please ... come home, I'll have lunch with my lover today, please!”

“Lunch? And, today?” lintani asked a little hesitantly, she did not know that Askelan had walked up to them.

“Yes, what's the trouble, just lunch don't you have no job?” haifa's voice sounded so soft and spoiled, she was like an adorable and weak little rabbit. He did have a lunch plan at home with Askelan after informing him if one of his parents was sick, then, Askelan agreed with the reason for tolerance.

Lintani was silent, as she felt strange about Haifa's rapid facial changes. The girl did not stop to demean him, she wanted to refuse and say if she had a job.

However, it is useless because the work he did as a brick printer is still despicable, in Haifa unless he can work as a senator in the center of the country. Or a higher position than him but, he was sanctioned even though, he had a higher job, could this girl appreciate it?

His personality is difficult to appreciate others because he is high-hearted, so his heart is diseased and unable to recognize the advantages of others even though clearly the person is better than him.

“I don't need dinner at that damned house! I don't want any more leftover food from you guys, when obviously I'm also looking for money!” Lintani said as she flicked her hand until Haifa staggered, and she sat on the floor.

“Lin, what are you saying? I just want us to have lunch, is that wrong?” Haifa said while crying.

“Yes, it was wrong because you invited me to come!” lintani.

“Lin ...!” haifa.

“Come! Wakeup!” askelan said while helping Haifa stand up gently. Instantly Lintani turned her head while taking a deep breath.

“Askel, Baby! You here?” haifa said with excitement.

“Yes! And I saw everything. Are you okay?” Askelan said without taking her eyes off Lintani who was standing nearby.

“I'm good, I'm just sad, Honey!” haifa said as she rubbed her back from the dust.

“What makes you sad?” His eyes had not yet turned away from Lintani.

“Lin, all because, Lin! I invited him to come for our lunch later, but he refused. He no longer wants to think of me as a brother!” Haifa said in tears.

Lintani sneered, then said, “Sorry, Sir. I've been bothering this Miss. He mistook me for someone else!”

“Lin! Are you the heart? Papa's sick!”

Lintani looked at Haifa looking for earnestness there, but since Haifa's acting was so good, she couldn't tell which one was a lie or not from her lips.

“Alright, I'll come to see your Papa!” lintani said as she passed away.
