Wedding Dresses
Lintani could hardly believe if the soft-colored clothes with the model of ceongsam clothes were the gift of Askelan, a man who loved to rule it.
Aunt Mo helped Lintani down the bed because her body was stiff and achy, then, showed the contents of the large closet in her bedroom. Lots of clothes of various colors, patterns and models are there. She can wear it at any time, complete with underwear as well.
The clothes were deliberately provided by Askelan long before, Lintani occupied the house because she bought for the woman in the log cabin, if one day she found it. So, that outfit she chooses from some of the latest models every year. Askelan simply airs the girl and mentions what her size is.
Aunt Mo of course did not know for whom the clothes were provided, but because she saw Lintani sleeping in Askelan's arms, she thought it was for her.
Lintani immediately thanked him, he cleaned himself up and immediately put on his clothes. While enjoying breakfast, he heard a lot about Askelan and her habits from Aunt Mo to make him judge if the man was actually a loving and very appreciative of his mother.
After breakfast, he immediately met Elliyat with a pickup car that Askelan provided as usual. However, the driver did not take Lintani to Villa but to the hospital until he wondered what happened to his adoptive mother during his time in prison. Once at the hospital, JJ
“Lin! You coming?” said Elliyat in a weak voice, in his hands connected with an infusion hose while, in his nose there is an oxygen cover.
Lintani approached without looking at Askelan, she was saddened by her mother's condition while in prison. He was the only family to her at the moment and no one else loved her like Elliyat loved her.
“Mother, what's wrong with you, I didn't know you were sick, I'm sorry!” sahut Lintani while touching her feet and kneading her.
“What are you talking about, I just don't want anyone to know about my illness. I don't want people to be sad because of me.”
“Alright, Mother. I wouldn't be sad if it would make you happy. Say it! What else do you want me to do!”
Elliyat pulled Lintani and Askelan's hands together with her weak and trembling hands. Then, put their hands together in his grasp. His gaze was full of hope on the two humans before him.
“Mother, we're married, I already showed you the letter, right?” askelan said, holding his mother's hand.
“No, it's not like that, I want to see Lin wear a wedding dress and say a wedding vows with you.”
Elliyat felt that his life would not last much longer, the kmancer cells in his body began to spread, he pretended to look strong all this time for the sake of his son, but, instead, he, now he no longer needed to worry about Askelan because he already had a lot of property and savings, precious metals he stored there were some. Especially now that he already had a woman who would make him live happily.
She wants to see Lintani, her daughter-in-law wearing her wedding dress that she never had time to wear at the wedding day with Yardo Harrad, her husband. After all, walking to the beach in a beautiful wedding dress is a woman's dream.
“If I can't wear my dress, then Lintani should wear it. I want my own dress, worn by a woman, and that woman is Lin. So, go ... I want to see you guys together before I go.”
“Mother, you will live a long life, and I think a wedding with a wedding dress is not necessary.” Lintani said that in defense of Askelan's self-esteem, the man did not want the whole world to know about his forced marriage.
“Lin, I'm seriously ill, and maybe my life won't be long.”
“Mother, hang on, you will be healthy and see your grandson, born from my womb!”
Lintani's words made Askelan furrow her eyebrows because she thought, does that mean Lintani wants to have a child named her and suddenly the corner of her lips twitched, holding a smile that almost just came out.
“Hai! Stupid boy!” Elliyat patted Askelan's arm, and again said, “Come! Persuade your wife to wear my wedding dress!”
