Mother's Choice Woman

Mother's Choice Woman
Chapters 13. The Same Shirt

The Same Shirt

after Askelan disappeared from behind the door of her room, Lintani walked to the part at the very end, not without reason she chose that door because to avoid more contact with Askelan.

Up inside, he did not turn on the room lights but, directly closed the door and cried. He leaned on her then, his body sagging to the floor limply like boneless, he was starving, thirsty and penniless, how would he survive?

Living in a nice house like this in fact does not guarantee his life will be happy. He weeps for his stupidity, which he takes for granted when Askelan will pay him at the end of the agreement. Then from where he would make money to eat and dress.

After so long she cried, without realizing the girl fell asleep in her place crying. He looked like a cold fox in the freezing winter, curled up to his back curled up into a circle on the ground, which was moist without any warmth as his fur was gone.

The next day, Jordan arrived earlier than usual, when he entered, he saw Askelan was ready to go to work and was wearing his suit.

The loyal personal assistant pulled a pair of shoes from another row of shoes in the closet, then kept them near the sofa for Askelan to wear. He looked around and did not get Lintani anywhere.

He asked, “Where, Miss, Sir? Does he still sleep in your bed from fatigue serving you all night?”

Askelan glanced at Jordan at a glance, then, sat on the sofa to put on her shoes.

“I don't know where he sleeps.”

“Didn't you take her to bed in the room? You are married!”

“Jode, I'm sorry to follow your advice, that woman is so annoying, besides I am married only on a civil note, you know, too, right, I haven't said any sacred promises with her?”

Jordan withholds his laughter, but he is happy, because of Lintani's existence, giving him the opportunity to give orders to a deadly man. I don't know, he'd rather Estevan be with his wife than with Haifa because he felt something was wrong with her.

He once asked about the sensitive incident at the log cabin in Haifa, but his answer was made up and not the same as Estevan's story to him.

“Remember, Jode. Don't give me any other advice because I'm only getting married to Haifa.”

“Good ..., but, are you not going to give him money or food?” Jordan said that because he knew that there was never any food in the house.

Estevan did not answer Jordan's question, he walked with wide steps out of the house without seeing what his assistant was doing.

Jordan took food from his bag, it was rice and soup that his mother would often make if he left for work and didn't have time for breakfast. She hopes Lintani likes her.

A few hours passed after Askelan left, Lintani opened her eyes and saw faint sunlight entering through the gap of the light green window curtain. All the fabrics in the room were the same color, from sheets, blankets, small tablecloths as well.

The girl moved her body slowly while rubbing her swollen eyes from crying too much. He got up and tried to stand with all his remaining strength, stepped into the window and opened the curtain. He sat down on the chair that was there, then, came back crying.

God, what line am I supposed to cross, what is this line that I have to keep going until I'm gone? Inner Lintani on the sidelines of her sobbing.

If killing himself would solve the problem, he would, but, he would find out first, is there a life in his womb? Long ago when she was forced to serve a man who almost died she could get pregnant. What's more now, he's already done it again with a man who has the same power.

However, if there is a life in his stomach, then he will return to survive for his life friend who became an encouragement again in all conditions.

After being satisfied with crying, Lintani went to the bathroom and cleaned herself. After that he returned to wearing the same clothes because he was not interested at all, to open a large closet that was beside his bed. He was not curious to see the contents inside.

Lintani combed her hair using a tool on the dresser, tucking her hair over her head. When he came out of the room, he saw that there was a pretty rice stock on the dining table, the girl ate it to the end. He was full and felt that it turned out Askelan was a caring man. Now he can muffle his stomach noises from last night.

After he was full he cleaned his marks then he saw a piece of paper stuck near the door of his room. He read about some of the rules he had to follow. Maybe it was handwritten by Askelan. The man had a neat and sharp handwriting, it was too good a gravestone for a man with a cold disposition like diriny

There was a rule in which he had to look at his mother every day and had to accompany her to a chat and then make her smile because it was the most important thing for Elliyat. In some articles about health, if a person who has several diseases is mostly due to mindset and burden of life. The real trigger of how much disease in humans is caused by unhappiness, pressure and stress.

Lintani nods her head to read it she understands that her main task is to make Aunt Elliyat happy. That's the easy thing. However, she was unlikely to accompany Mother Askelan all day because she had to find work to keep her alive.

When Lintani arrived at the apartment building yard, she was greeted by a driver with her vehicle. The driver walked over when he saw her coming out of the elevator. The thin man was named Honu and introduced himself in a polite and friendly manner.

After being on Lintani's side she said, “I will escort Miss to Villa according to Mr. Askelan's orders.”

And Lintani followed him.

Arriving at the Villa, the girl was immediately greeted by servants who invited her to enter politely.

“Hai, Lin. Didn't you change your clothes?” elliyat asked as Lintani was already on the woman's side. “Is this your shirt from yesterday?” Elliyat showed great attention.

They sat together in front of the window in the middle of the room.

Lintani realizes how much attention Elliyat has to her, in stark contrast to her son who would not care if she wore the same clothes.

“Not so, Mother ... It's a different shirt and I've replaced it, but, I didn't realize that the color and model are the same!” Lintani said with a laugh as if she really did not realize it when she was lying.

“Alright then, you should change your clothes. I don't like it when I see you wearing the same shirt, though, it's a different shirt. Come, come!”

Elliyat took Lintani to her room and showed her the contents of the closet that she was free to choose any clothes she liked and fit on her body. The girl showed a dumbfounded expression and even looked happy.

Lintani was no stranger to the kindness Eliat showed, though, in her heart she refused and disliked such extravagant things because she was not used to them. Moreover, he intended to find a job, not suitable if he had to wear luxurious clothes. How could anyone believe that he needed money to wear such clothes.

Lintani chose black clothes that were closed on the neck with lacy arms limited to the elbow, while the length of the clothes to cover part of the calf

“You have good taste, Lin. It's not wrong that I married you to my son just look later he'll be dumbfounded to see you.”

Be in harmony
