In Front of the 1st Pusara

At that time everyone stepped aside and made room for Askelan to be alone with her mother's corpse, she sat down limply on the side of her already lifeless body. His heart ached as if it was being cut small. This time he lost the person he loved the most.

“Is it okay to leave him alone there?” Tanya Lintani was concerned for him.

“It's okay, Miss ... give the Master a chance just for a moment!” Jordan's heart without turning his attention to Askelan, whose shoulders began to shake. He showed his fragility, after everyone had left there except Jordan and Lintani alone.

“Master like the first time to experience it, didn't he ever lose his father?” lintani asked, but Jordan didn't know what to answer.

Askelan looked so devastated. Although, in the past he had lost his father but, from birth never felt the love of a father. He never even knew what he looked like. So, when she was an adult and found out when Elliyat's husband had died, she did not know whether she should be sad or not.

Elliyat always gives good hope if his father is still alive and wants to meet his round someday. However, their hope turns out to be a dream when the Harrad family comes to pick him up, and say if the man who took part in his presence in the world, is gone. In fact, his mother is still in prison.

Had it not been for a will written by Hardo through his legitimate lawyer, perhaps Askelan would never have been recognized for good.

The man had been fighting on his own since childhood, only to survive in a good way. He always worked hard doing menial or part-time work. In fact, unbeknownst to his mother, he managed to undergo a good military education, even expert in the use of some weapons.

However, Askelan never skipped school, as Elliyat was very strict in her son's education, as she would one day inherit Harrad's company. Not one bit he relaxes after adulthood, especially when his mother is in prison, Elliyat sacrifice is too heavy to bear by a woman.

His father had always lived in the midst of the Harrad family, not knowing what their previous life was like, whereas when Askelan began to join his family, they only showed him where the man's grave was.

Back then he only saw Hardo Harrad's name written clearly on his tombstone. All of Hardo's brothers, no one told Askelan how the man who became his father died and his football was broken while still alive. Not even her mother knew.

When she was told that her father was dead, she had no feelings for him. Although, his mother always said good things about the man, but, he never saw his figure, so he did not have the slightest love for him. This made Askelan feel lost for the first time, when her mother was gone.

For almost an hour Askelan cried over her mother's departure and she got up as her back felt caressed by someone. He wiped away the rest of his tears before turning his head. Lintani was there, she barged in because she could not bear to see how fragile the man who, before this seemed so intimidating to everyone.

“Go, before the Elders come here or they confirm the departure of my mother!”

“But, Mr...” greeting Lintani paused.

Lintani almost cried when the man kicked her out, she wanted to stay there, to give Elliyat a gift she had not been able to give as a sign of love. His breathing suddenly tightened when he realized he was now no one else in that place.

“Can I come to the funeral home later?” ask Lintani.

“Serah!” answer Askelan ketus. He went out of the room and let Jordan, instructing the nurses to take care of his mother's body and was taken to the funeral home.

Lintani hides away, somewhere, waiting patiently there to keep everyone out of sight, until the hearse carrying Elliyat's body comes out of the hospital and, going to the funeral home. Lintani followed by using a taxi.

As before while in the hospital, Lintani was just hiding somewhere avoiding meeting with many people. He saw some people he met at the party, one by one coming there. And, he remained patient in his place until nightfall.

The girl stepped closer to the door of the funeral home while taking out a small urn gift from inside her bag. He deliberately bought for Eliat and would be kept in a coffin to be buried with his mother later.

But it turns out his fate is not good because at that time, Petra got out of his car along with Yasmin heading to the same place. This made Lintani wonder how they could come on such a late day.

“Hai! Lin, it's so sad. Did you just come with us? Aren't you supposed to be the family's side, welcoming the guests and paying their respects? You are too much!” Yasmin said as she passed Lintani, who was clearly seen walking towards the entrance to the funeral home.

“Maybe she's reluctant, you know, right now her contract is over?” the word Petra completely undermines Lintani's self-esteem.

“Ah, yes ... I almost forgot, she is just a doll wife but, may also she be too strong to survive with people who do not love her, if I might have killed her!” yasmin said again as she folded her hands in front of her chest. She was wearing elegant black clothes, her face was tempering the serenity and it seemed like the woman always looked graceful no matter what her clothes were.

“I can't believe a woman like you could kill a man who lives with you, but, don't love you?” said Petra.

“Yes! Whynot? Don't equate me with that weak woman!” yasmin said while pointing at Lintani who had not managed to enter the place.

"Yes, yes ... I believe but, pity him .... still want to get compensated until he comes here to see his friend while in prison for the last time!” suhut Petra as he stepped closer towards the pale Lintani.

Lintani is so upset and angry that Petra is really dropping her self-esteem so low, she thinks the man really wants to be her best friend.

In fact, a few weeks ago he said he would make Lintani a partner, if there was a chance when parting ways with Askelan. Then, now in front of Yasmin he said something different. It turned out that he was just a joke, Lintani thought.

However, Lintani did not tease the couple she let them chatter badly, about her after this they will not meet.

Lintani goes through the guards there and says that she is Elliyat's friend, then, again Petra helps by gesturing to the guards to let her go.

Lintani again thanked Petra, her heart was so soft that for a small kindness she was always grateful when in fact, the man had just insulted her desperately.

After arriving inside, Lintani stands beside the coffin after Petra and Yasmin jam, paying their final respects. He saw Elliyat inside the chest with a pale face yet, quite beautiful. He slipped the gift of the beautifully wrapped small urn under the clothes, so it was not visible.

“Mother, I hope you like my gift, sorry .. I can't give you anything good, ah yes .. I think you've calmed down now, God has freed you from that disease. Mom, I missed you!” lintani said as she stroked Elliyat's cold cheek.

He purposely hid his gift, fearing that others would throw it away, they had no idea how great the sincerity within such a small gift was.

The girl saw Askelan approaching to the coffin, then, standing by her side like a statue. He did not look at his mother's face.

Lintani longs to caress or give a warm hug just to give strength. Or give him some encouragement and say that, “all will be fine after the departure of his mother” but, he could not afford to be one step closer. If only this was the right opportunity, then, he would have given a gift to the man beside him as well.
