Chapter 35. A Tattoo

Askelan's statement saying that if Dex's men were to die, was just a figure of speech because they just had to pretend that they were not. They will then change their identity. Then, it will be Askelan's men with the guarantee that their families will be safe. If they betray a little, their families will pay for it.

Jordan, and five loyal Askelan men dragged the three men ‘mayat' and made a mass grave behind their headquarters, if at any time anyone was looking for evidence, he said, then they will see the indisputable and real proof that they are dead.

However, shortly after, Jordan returned to where Askelan was still standing by the window. From there he could see the log cabin, although, quite far away but, because of its location near the hill, making the simple building very clear.

“Master, maybe you want to see the cctv recording at home now?”

“No! Are you gonna take me to see that woman naked walking free in the middle of the house? No will!”

Thus Askelan, since Lintani lived in the house he was very reluctant to see the area of the house highlighted by CCTV, whereas before, he routinely checked it. All because he didn't want to see something he didn't want to see from the girl.

‘Basic! Your mind is dirty, Sir!’ inner Jordan was upset.

“Not! But ... What does your gold card carry?” ask Jordan.

Askelan checked all her pockets and she did not find the gold card with her. The Gold card keeps the door closed automatically if Askelan exits the house by carrying the card with him, but, if not, then the door will remain open, except Askelan who closes it before leaving.

“Do you forget and Gold card left behind, or fell at home?”

Hearing Jordan's question, he immediately looked at his cell phone screen and checked the CCTV to his surprise.

“What does he want to do by going into my room? Basic Stupid!” muttered Askelan as she moved, she grabbed the car keys and walked over quickly, as she said, “Solve your task, you guys should have finished this afternoon and, remove the trail!”

“Good, Master!”

Askelan rushed to her apartment by pressing the gas of her car very deeply. The moment he found the red light and or the jam, then he would hit the steering wheel in his innocent hands.

As soon as he reached the apartment, he parked his car carelessly and entered with half a run, then took the elevator, until he arrived in his room panting.

He sees Lintani curled up on the floor with a gold card in her hand, making Askelan know if the girl is only intending to return it to him. Of course he thought if he was still in the room then, go in until this is what happened.

Once Askelan was inside, the freezing atmosphere gradually normalized. AC automatically changes, the tool will only cool down once the unidentified object in the room does not move.

Unknowingly, Askelan widened her suit, then, held Lintani almost frozen in the chest, then, re-tied the suit to cover part of her body. The girl's lips turned blue and her long hair felt stiff due to hypothermia.

Realizing that his legs were not covered, Askelan took him to bed and wrapped him in a tight blanket. At that time he saw a considerable scar on Lintani's leg, and he knew that such a large wound must have been caused by a deep puncture, but, not treated properly until the infection was long enough. If the wound is healed immediately, it will not leave a mark too striking.

After that, he kissed Lintani's frozen lips and barged in between her docked teeth, while the girl was still shivering.

Askelan continued until her tongue managed to get into the cold mouth. He deliberately paused a few times until he could finally give warmth, unconsciously he continued to link to it until a while later, a soft moaning sound was heard, then he stopped.

The voice meant that, the girl was already conscious and would be fine. He rubbed both palms until it was hot and then put them on Lintani's cheeks, so he did it repeatedly, until the girl's cheeks began to warm up.

Had Askelan been a little late, maybe Lintani would have really become ice in her room and, what would she have told her mother if she had asked, where her daughter-in-law went. He couldn't have met me if his wife wasn't in his own room.

Askelan remained there, compressing Lintani's forehead with a warm cloth, in not daring to change her wet clothes until asking Mo to come and replace them. In fact, he couldn't believe it when the middle-aged assistant said there was a nice tattoo on his hip.

“You are this, where could a country girl like her have a tattoo?” askelan.

“Alright thank you, you can cook soup for him now!”

When Lintani regained consciousness two hours later, she saw Askelan, who had changed her shirt, sitting quietly on a single sofa near the Window, with a cup of coffee in her hand, it looked graceful like an actor was playing his part.

Long enough Lintani saw the scene until just averted her eyes when the man cleared his throat quite hard.

“You're up?” askelan said without turning her gaze from outside the window. Lintani.

“Are you happy to see me like this? If you're happy, I'll stay in this position for you!”

Lintani was confused, it was like she was pedaling a bicycle without looking, then, falling when there was no obstruction in front of her made her very embarrassed.

Lintani tries to get up slowly as she is embarrassed to fall asleep in the room of a man who does not want her at all.

“Sleep if you can't get up yet, you're cold and almost frozen like ice cubes!”

“Eum .. really?” of course Lintani did not remember what happened because as soon as she sat down limp, she inhaled the scent of lyli flowers but stronger, mixed with the smell of incense smoke to make her very sleepy. He fell asleep not long after he heard the sound of angel singing around the castle, it was a hallucination, wasn't it?

Askelan really did not change the way she sat and Lintani still looked at her. He again said, “If you freeze, it must be the nicest and most expensive decoration beyond the moon rocks of the south Afturifes.”

“Ah, the moon rock is just a myth, as I know it. Moreover. Afturifes is located on the hill of Cemiton Shaw. My mother said, it's a city that never existed in the world and it's just a fairy tale written by Syahrain's grandfather!” lintani said he was still lying down but his head and some parts of his body were stiff, he could already move.

Askelan smiled, for him a girl like her who only temporarily stayed with him did not need to know about Afturifes.

“Are you able to move?” Askelan asked as she stood up and kept the cup on the small table next to her chair. “Come! Now eat your soup! Mo has been cooking from earlier.”

“Aunt Mo, is here?”

“Yes! Who do you think changed your clothes?”

Lintani immediately got up, and looked at her own body. He realized that he was not wearing the same clothes anymore.

“Sorry, Mr. Askel. I just want to return your card, it looks like it's a precious thing!”

“Yes. It's worth it but, you don't need to go into my room to return it either! Do you understand?”

“Yes. I'm sorry, I won't do it again!”

“From now on you should know if you touch my personal belongings then that is what will happen!”

“Good! I won't touch it!”

Askelan thinks what exactly is in the girl's brain, about the words 'not going to touch her’...?

Suddenly he felt amused, had Lintani known how Askelan had kissed his lips maybe the girl would have cursed him again and again.
