Chapter 72. Jabie

Jabie Girl Legged Paraplegic

The girl is Jabie, and her friend, Syalum, they have been best friends since childhood and, have long been co-workers at one of the famous restaurants.

They worked there after Jabie's legs, which had been deformed from birth, were able to walk again. All because of the help of Askelan, who had financed his operation and bought him a nice, comfortable prosthetic leg.

However, the girl secretly followed in the footsteps of the older brother with a lot of practice in the shooting club.

Jabie is Jordan's younger sister, they were born to a poor family. However, thanks to Askelan, they were able to prosper until now.

They never had anything to eat while Jordan had no money. The girl stole a piece of dry bread at Mork's store. However, due to being caught the shop owner tortures and destroys his deformed leg.

It turns out that Mork is a right-hand man of Marka and Dex, it's fitting that he would be willing to do such a cruel thing to a disabled teenage girl. Since then Jordan has been vengeful, until he meets Askelan and, successfully fulfills her, sends Mork's life back to nirvana.

Jabie and her friend landed on the hospital yard which was a spacious building. It was designed so that the helicopter could land easily if it dropped off patients.

“Mr Askel, I'll go!” jabie said after Askelan arrived.

“You really don't want Jode to know, why?”

“Master, he loves me so much that I'm not free.”

“Alright, but you'll be useful if you join.”

“No, I want to be an ordinary person!”

“Yes! That's also good.”

“Master, I'll leave the heli here, and say, that someone else saved you, okay?”

Askelan. Connect with the stopping machine and the officers came with automatic crack, then, lifted Lintani and Askelan's body.

After making sure Askelan and Lintani get treatment, the two women go back to doing their usual exercises.

The two women were talking and taking pictures on the roof of the mall when Jabie saw a Dex motorcade in the parking lot. He was suspicious after seeing people coming down by giving each other awkward codes, to attract his attention. Moreover, all wear advanced earphones in the ear.

His friend's scarf had the idea to stay on the roof, to do their hobby of making pictures at the height of a building. Long enough they were there until they saw there was a firefight between the helicopter flying with the Dex forces below.

Shortly after, he saw Jordan's older brother in a helicopter that landed near them and descended into the mall. Fearing to be found out that he was carrying a gun, he decided to stay hidden and wait until Jordan and Askelan left again.

But what he saw after that was not Jordan or Askelan, but Dex who was holding Lintani, until he recorded what he thought was strange.

He witnesses a female aide kill the pilot who, flying the Askelan helicopter, for refusing to fly for them.

Then, something happened that made Jabie have to eliminate Dex though, whatever the risk. He came out of hiding, approaching the helicopter, by pointing his weapon right at the heart from behind. He would not let that desperate Askelan, be killed in vain at the hands of the man he hated.

‘But, where is Jode, is he still fighting the forces that are below?’ thought at that time.

But Jabie was relieved, because until he left, Jordan did not appear either. That meant she didn't have to explain anything to her brother, about the soft gun he got from Jordan's arsenal in their home.

Epilogues

“Did you hear something?” haifa asked while still enjoying the food that Yasmin had ordered.

“Heard what?” ask Yasmin and Petra at the same time.

“Vote of shots!” haifa said again without stopping chewing.

“Maybe it's firecrackers!” petra

“Or it could have balloon erupted!” sahut Yasmin's.

“Yes. It could be, but I even heard the sound of a helicopter too!”

Petra nodded as she said, “There may be a drama going on!”

The three people finished enjoying their lunch, they again walked down the mall talking. When outside the mall and want to go to the parking lot, then they realize that the sound of gunfire that was heard was not a fantasy but reality. They saw a flurry of security and medical personnel, doing their respective duties, in dealing with several people killed with gunshot wounds.

However, even more sad for Petra is that one of the dead was Dex Barseba, her cousin Pama.

After that the announcement of mourning for the Harrad family and the Barseba family was declared officially and openly by the lawyers of each family.

Lintani opened her eyes slowly, she felt the wind and sunlight caressing her cheeks simultaneously. He was wearing a hospital gown and his hand was an intravenous needle. His head hurt, he just found out that his head was injured, after feeling.

‘What happened to me?’ he thought, while circulating his gaze and found the room empty.

A moment later, Lintani had recalled the previous incident to the point of scaring her.

He sat at the end of the ward and bent his knees in tears, not knowing in whose hands he now had to live. Before he fell, he heard gunshots but, who was killed, whether Dex or Askelan, he didn't know.

Lintani then got out of bed, after plucking the infusion needle, and came out. However, there were two large-bodied guards on the right left side of the door. Make him step. It's obvious, right, in anyone's hands, there will definitely be guard.

Seeing the door open and Lintani there, one of the guards immediately spoke through the intercom.

“Alfa one is aware.”

Lintani is asked to remain in the room by the guard politely, inevitably the girl complies. He realized that he could not escape with this kind of weak state.

‘Is it too long for me to faint?’ inner Lintani.

A moment later the door opened again, seeing Mo who appeared there made Lintani shout excitedly. She immediately hugged Mo with a feeling of pleasure. He knew in whose hands he now had to live his life.

“Auntie, is Askel okay?”

“His leg is seriously injured, how can he be fine, Miss?”

“Oh, sorry!”

“No need to apologize. You have to be as healthy and recover as ever if you want to see it.”

“Why?”

“He does not want to be met by a sick person!”

Lintani frowned at the sign she was thinking hard, it meant that she would not meet Askelan for a few days.

‘Is this a subtle way to reject me? What about Haifa? A glance of his foster brother was present in his mind but, he would not care for her because she was the real wife of Askelan.
