Chapter 29. Come pick him up

Come pick him up

Petra immediately turned her head and was about to hit someone beside her who had smothered the girl's mouth and nose with her big hands. Suddenly, his hands were shackled by two strong men from behind.

“Take me off, motherfucker! What's wrong!” Petra shouted loudly but, it was useless because the two people who controlled her were much stronger.

“Let go of the woman! Damn it, you guys!” Petra shouted back.

“Silence, you're Pet! Relax, I won't hurt him if you obey!” said the man who tied his hands.

“Me and her have nothing to do with Askelan, let alone with you!” petra said with a trembling voice holding back in anger.

The man did have a good posture, but he did not have any martial skills until he was unable to resist, as he was dragged to a deserted place near his own factory building. He was powerless to see the girl who had captivated him as a teenager, becoming limp because she was smothered by the man, using the dope earlier. He was the first son of Noul the master of the martial college, but he himself could not defend himself. Petra was injured as a child until she grew up to be a spoiled child.

He felt furious when he found out that the man who tied his hands was Dex's man. In his heart Petra cursed herself, who had already accidentally told Lintani about her father's cousin.

Dex Barseba was hostile to Askelan because the man, wanting to rule over the wealth of the Harrad family, but, his mere position as husband of Nazareth, Yardo's younger brother, kept him from twitching.

Moreover, Dex befriends Makra, a man in the past, who once liked Elliyat. However, the woman preferred to surrender to the first son of the Harrad family, the father of Askelan until the child he was born, who did not know, about the root of the problem between his parents was targeted.

Unbeknownst to his wife Nazareth—, Dex commits something bad, conspiring with the other brothers using devious means to kill Askelan, who in fact is his wife's niece.

Dex considers Askelan not entitled to inherit the wealth of Yardo, as a single son. It should be him, who became a confidant of the Harrad family after Yardo was gone. Then, he could give the reins of the next company leader to his own son.

Who knows if a few days before the handover, Askelan—anak born to Yardo's first wife came. They regretted why a man like Yardo could love Elliyat so much, a woman born into a poor family. Therefore, chairman Harrad refused, then married Yardo to Sofia, the girl of choice of the elders of the family. Unfortunately, Sofia does not have children, aka barren, so inevitably they recognize Askelan as a descendant.

But Askelan's move to the pinnacle of power was not easy, though, the family accepted it. His nickname as an out-of-wedlock child made some of his uncles, dislike the decision of the elders.

Askelan's father and mother were actually legally married to the Elliyat family custom, even recorded in the local government. They married in a simple and honest state, they are a good family who uphold the wisdom of the custom as a whole.

Now, Makra is actually getting old and she has her own family after deciding to forget the married Elliyat. However, Dex's grudge as his friend, is not lost. Many other coincidences occur, if Makra's current wife is the younger sister of Saniel, Petra's mother who has no grudge whatsoever on Askelan, but, is involved as well.

While Askelan could not ensnare Dex—, with criminal charges because he always used clever men like Mork, the man who had been killed by Jordan, to do the action.

Petra was just hoping that Askelan would come to Lintani's rescue. He had seen how possessive Askelan was to the girl, while talking to her a few days ago. He has no power, not even to help himself.

After Petra finished shouting and the two men stopped laughing, it was suddenly quiet. The atmosphere was very similar to the situation in the ocean that suddenly calmed down before the arrival of a tsunami storm.

It turned out, which came not a tsunami but Askelan, who stepped wide to approach the two men earlier, carrying his anger. He let go of his fists repeatedly as the two men confronted him as he was about to release Lintani.

While another man, who had not even finished tying the limp body of the girl, was now sprawled due to a hard kick in his stomach. Then, the attempt was thwarted easily, by Askelan himself.

“Ck! Didn't you see? I'm busy!” askelan said as she passed, without glancing at Petra in the slightest.

“Cih! I'm still your distant brother! It's too bad, you!” said Petra.

“Hai! Jodie! Comeon! Let go of me!” petra said Again, as she looked at Jordan who had come with a rope, to tie the three men. He will teach the next lesson after they are conscious, later.

“I'm busy too! You don't see?” Jordan said as he tied the hands of the three Dex men, then, tied the three bodies into one

“Everyone, you should stay away from Miss Lin, so as not to get into trouble like this. Basic Stupid!” Jordan continued his words.

“Hah! How do I know about it, who is Lin for Askel?”

“You don't need to know!” sahut Jordan's.

Meanwhile, Petra's heart was filled with regret, had it known in the first place, then, she wouldn't have approached Lintani.

“Good. I won't care from now on!”

“You're wrong again!” Jordan said with annoyance.

Petra was actually wondering why a person like Askelan would let her women work rough at her factory, but, as much as she asked maybe, that distant cousin would not explain anything.

“Take me off first, damn it! Comeing! We talk!”

“There's nothing to talk about with someone like you!”

“There! Lin works for me, so after this I'll protect him for Askel. Whatever their business is!”

Jordan grinned. LaLu, deftly she untied the ties in Petra's hands and feet.

“You should be grateful, being the nephew of Auntie Mr. Askel, otherwise you might have fared the same!” petra said as she moved her chin at the three burly men, they had already fainted in an instant with a bruised body and face.

Meanwhile, Askelan was carrying his car at high speed. She momentarily glanced at Lintani, who was sitting leaning against the chair beside her, she was still limp due to the effects of the dope.

When the girl came out of the factory, she was already on her way to pick up. All he did was because of his promise to Elliyat to look after his wife.
